Far out SC scoring... What more could Duncan and Ablett possibly do to each the 100pt mark.

And how does Jelwood outscore Ablett when the only stat he beat him in was disposal efficiency (and that was only by 4%...)

Ablett 6 contested possessions, Selwood 12
and
Ablett 9 clangers, Selwood 3

That's your difference right there

#23
New Brooklyn Hawks 19.7.121 lost to Las Vegas Sinners 19.8.122
(Real: 1818 vs 1832)

An almost cruel loss for the Hawks, as they put up a big fight but went down by the narrowest of margins. Rockliff, Jones and Buddy were the obvious heroes for the Sinners, while sub SPS and a consistent effort across the board lead the way for the Hawks.

Best
New Brooklyn: Petrevski-Seton, Jacobs, Marchbank, Acres, Johannisen, Houli, Cripps
Sinners: Franklin, Rockliff, Jones, Mitchell, Lloyd, Fyfe

Anaheim Mighty Ducks 18.12.120 defeated Quito Quetzals 15.10.100
(Real: 1801 vs 1499)

When you have three players score in the 20s, you're never going to get a win in this comp - and Quito learnt this the hard way this week. Their best player being a 10-gamer also wasn't a great sight, with many players playing poor. Anaheim didn't have to be great to get this win, but they were.

Best
Anaheim: Merrett, Hannebery, Hurley, Dangerfield, Heppell, Smith
Quito: Burton, Ross, Lynch

Ottawa Otters 16.12.108 lost to Houston Bombers 18.10.118
(Real: 1619 vs 1777)

Ottawa poor again, while Houston were solid but could've been much better - say if Sloane scored his usual 130 and not 80.

Best
Ottawa: Dixon, Cunnington, Wood, McEvoy, Jones, Grigg
Houston: Kreuzer, Heeney, Witts, Adams, Simpson, Riewoldt, Vince

Colorado Avalanche 17.8.110 lost to San Francisco Grizzlies 17.14.116
(Real: 1649 vs 1734)

Ugh, another poor performance but we eek out a victory. Not great but I'll take it, just gotta get those captains better - four straight CC scores of under 100. Hill and Viney getting robbed by CD didn't help either.

Best
Colorado: Murphy, Hall, Ebert, Blakely, Smith, Grundy
San Francisco: Hunter, Viney, Steven, Hill, Coniglio

Boston Terriers 17.15.117 Carolina Panthers 16.14.110
(Real: 1752 vs 1643)

Ugh, this was an ugly game between the two teams at the top of the table - NBH must be really displeased they didn't play either of these teams this week! The Panthers had far too many passengers, particularly at the bottom of their side - their back three forwards and utilities scored 48, 46, 50, 58, 55, and 32 (becoming 80 through the sub), while Robbie Gray was very poor for Boston, as were their backline (three scores under 65) - they weren't great, but they got the job done, while Carolina will want big improvement - three of the bottom four outscored them this week!

Best
Boston: Neale, Goldstein, Cotchin, Dahlhaus, Wingard, Laird, Priddis, Gibbs
Carolina: Bontempelli, Daniher, Kelly, Docherty, McDonald, Ward

Chicago Sharks 16.11.107 lost to Wisconsin Cockerels 17.12.114
(Real: 1610 vs 1706)

Wisconsin had a 190 and still couldn't crack 115! That's what happens when neither of your co-captains top 90 I guess, I know that feeling from the last two weeks. Waite was an obvious best on ground with his mammoth score, while Macrae and Billings were good up forward for the Cockerels. The ex-East Fremantle duo of Ryder and Yeo were the best for the Sharks, but were really let down by the Package only making 28, in addition to poor games by usual stars Gaff, Parker, and Lynch.

Best
Chicago: Ryder, Yeo, Roughead, Burgoyne
Wisconsin: Waite, Macrae, Billings, May

Reserves

Colorado Bootleggers 10.8.68 lost to Stanford Cardinal 12.7.79
(Real: 682 vs 792)

Suffolk Terriers 8.6.54 defeated North Carolina Tar Heels 5.10.40
(Real: 539 vs 398)

Rockford Bears 5.8.38 lost to Milwaukee Roosters 8.7.55
(Real: 381 vs 545)

Harlem Naggers 11.7.73 defeated Nevada Desert Coyotes 9.9.63
(Real: 726 vs 627)

Birmingham Dragons 6.7.43 lost to Galapagos Tortoise 8.4.52
(Real: 432 vs 519)

Montreal Moose 4.5.29 lost to Rio Grande Valley Rockets 9.7.71
(Real: 287 vs 706)

Jukes

I gotta go do some stuff so I'll have the other two match scores and ressies stuff up a bit later.

Jukes

That's all the scores done, ladders tomorrow (I hope)

elephants

Absolute dog fight but happy to get the win!

Pkbaldy
