#30
Colorado Avalanche 14.10.96 lost to Ottawa Otters 15.11.101
(Real: 1434 vs 1513)

Reasonably tight match, with the travelling Otters getting home by under a kick to get a second straight win - unconvincingly to say the least. Colorado were worse than last week but have scope for improvement. Ressies match was a good one too.

Best
Colorado: Murphy, Tarrant, Ebert, Hickey
Ottawa: Dixon, Treloar, Jones

Reserves
Colorado Bootleggers 6.6.42 lost to Montreal Moose 7.8.50
(Real: 423 vs 504)

Houston Bombers 18.13.121 lost to Anaheim Mighty Ducks 20.10.130
(Real: 1814 vs 1956)

Again, not a blowout but not the closest game in the world. Houston let down by it's backs and forwards, but at least their reserves had a week to remember, I guess?

Best
Houston: Sloane, Beams, Adams, Zaharakis, Rance
Anaheim: Dangerfield, Greene, Fantasia, Merrett, Mitchell, Heppell, Watson

Reserves
Rio Grande Valley Rockets 12.4.76 defeated Birmingham Dragons 4.8.32
(Real: 761 vs 316)

Quito Quetzals 15.10.100 lost to New Brooklyn Hawks 16.10.106
(Real: 1502 vs 1593)

Another pretty close game, with the travellers again getting over the line. The captain and vice-captain representatives from both sides should be ashamed - 54 and 43 against 75 and 83! Other than that and a fair few sub-60 scores, both teams went alright and definitely have scope for improvement.

Best
Quito: Higgins, Wright, Ross, Cameron, Curnow
New Brooklyn: Gunston, Cripps, Jacobs, Houli

Reserves
Galapagos Tortoise 8.5.53 lost to Harlem Naggers 9.8.72
(Real: 533 vs 718)

Las Vegas Sinners 17.12.114 lost to Chicago Sharks 18.9.117
(Real: 1713 vs 1749)

Ouch, that has to hurt for the up-and-coming Sinners, who put together a great display but were outgunned by the Sharks - only just, to mark the fourth straight single-digit away victory for the week. Kurt Tippett's injury proved the difference ultimately, as his 11 (replaced by the sub but still counted as HGA) was a big shark bite from Jaws. The Sinners midfield was great, however (118x2, 117x1.5, 118, 102, 92, 92), but were matched by a great team performance from the Sharks, headed by the Demonic pair, ironically against the Sinners, of Oliver and Salem.

Best
Las Vegas: Rockliff, Mitchell, Fyfe, Lloyd, Garlett, Franklin
Chicago: Oliver, Salem, Yeo, Tyson, Lynch

Reserves
Nevada Desert Coyotes 9.8.62 defeated Rockford Bears 7.8.50
(Real: 617 vs 504)

Wisconsin Cockerels 18.8.116 lost to Boston Terriers 20.8.128
(Real: 1740 vs 1917)

Gary Ablett Jr did the damage (negatively at least), then Robbie Gray finished it off as we had our fifth straight away victory - but by two goals. Just too many passengers for the Cockerels I'm afraid.

Best
Wisconsin: Shuey, Zorko, Gawn, Duncan, Macrae
Boston: Gray, Cotchin, Neale, Selwood, Nankervis, Pendlebury, Priddis, Dahlhaus

Reserves
Milwaukee Roosters 9.4.58 defeated Suffolk Terriers 6.4.40
(Real: 579 vs 400)

Carolina Panthers 21.11.137 defeated San Francisco Grizzlies 17.13.115
(Real: 2056 vs 1724)

No surprises here. SF would've beaten the Panthers last week (but lost instead while the Panthers won), but then they play this week and get schlacked. Carolina had too many stars to go into and had a historically great score, but on the other end their lowest score was 67 and the sub was obviously not needed, which I find impressive. I reckon if Jenkins hadn't gotten injured the result would've been different, but alas that was not to be. But at least the SF ressies got up!

Best
Carolina: Grundy, Bontempelli, Shiel, Docherty, Kelly, Martin, Reid, Ward, Roberton, Jong
San Francisco: Wines, Martin, Watts (didn't get 100 but he's a legend so he gets in)

Reserves
North Carolina Tar Heels 7.5.47 lost to Stanford Cardinal 10.3.63
(Real: 468 vs 630)

Step up from last week and a competitive game, if the captaincy can be nailed then Quito seem fairly competitive.
