This brownlow will forever be known for the daylight robbing of poor Jeremy Howe </3
Robbed of MOTY and All Aus in the same year!

GoLions

Let's see how I did then :P

Will put what I predicted for each relevant-ish player in brackets

Here's my team votes list at the end of R23:

Crows:
Sloane 20 (26)
MCrouch 11 (16)

With the Crows having so many performing each week, was hard to pick. Didn't think Sloaney and MCrouch would be the guys to lose out on votes regularly though when it was close!

Lions:
Beams 17 (19)
Zorko 14 (21)
Rocky 2 (11)

Zorko got robbed in the Cats game, surprised Rocky didn't poll as well early on in the season, but we were getting beaten regularly. Stef and Rich polled better than expected, so perhaps they were votes I had given to Rocky myself (an extra 6 there)

Blues:
Gibbs 11 (15)
Murphy 9 (16)

Murphy I expected to poll much better early on, which he didn't

Pies:
Pendles 15 (10)
Adams 14 (15)
Sidey 14 (11)
Treloar 11 (14)

Pendles came outta nowhere, but for the most part pretty even with my distribution, just hard to pick the right Pies mid each week haha

Bombers:
Zerrett 15 (17)
HepD 14 (12)
Zaha 11 (7)
Daniher 9 (13)

Not too bad, had a sneaky feeling HepD would poll well, really stands out even if he only has 20 touches to Zerrett's 30+

Freo:
Fyfe 15 (17)
Neale 14 (11)
Walters 10 (10)

Fairly close here as well, Neale did slightly better, Fyfe slightly worse

Cats:
Danger 33 (41)
Jelwood 13 (15)
Duncan 11 (12)

Danger should have gotten 3 in R22 imho, also those early games where Higgins and Jelwood got BOG were basically the difference between my count and the actual one

Suns:
Ablett 14 (21)
Hall 10 (7)

Thought Gaz would poll better because he is Gaz, DidNotHappen/10

GWS:
Kelly 21 (29)
Ward 11 (15)
Shiel 11 (11)

Kelly was a machine late in the season but didn't get in the votes, also thought Ward would poll better in the latter half of the season

Hawks:
TMitch 25 (25)
GUNston 6 (7)
Roughy 6 (7)

Absolutely nailed the Hawks for the most part!

Dees:
Oliver 12 (6)
TMac 9 (7)
Viney 9 (9)
Hibberd 7 (8)
Jones 7 (12)

So the umps did notice Oliver somewhat, swap him with Jones and my count is dead accurate aha

Norf:
Brown 14 (9)
Cunnington 11 (5)
Higgins 9 (12)

Didn't think Brown would poll as well in a shower team, Cunnington also again polls consistently, tbh I don't see it, but will need to remember for next year

Port:
Wines 18 (18)
Ebert 15 (6)
Gray 12 (13)
Boak 10 (7)
Dixon 8 (11)
Wingard 4 (12)

So glad I got the Wines pick right, Port was a nightmare to judge, Ebert and Wingard basically swapped places for me

Tigs:
Dusty 36 (43)
Cotchin 8 (14)

Dusty just didn't get any of those 1 or 2 vote games (11 BOGs was it?), Cotch also didn't poll as well as he usually does

Saints:
Ross 14 (10)
Billings 11 (15)
Steven 11 (9)

Yeah I thought Billings had 1 more BOG in him, ah well. Was always gonna be close between those 3 I guess

Swans:
JPK 23 (23)
Buddy 22 (21)
Parker 16 (13)

Did pretty well with the Swans too! Parker polled a bit better than I had him early on in the season

Iggs:
JJK 13 (13)
Shuey 10 (16)
Gaff 9 (11)
Yeo 4 (10)

Shuey and Yeo not as well as expected

Doggos:
Bont 19 (21)
Macrae 8 (6)
Johannisen 7 (4)
Dahl 6 (7)

Fairly close for the Dogs, not too bad

Apart from Brisbane, Dees, Norf, and the Eagles, was pretty close up the top for the most part. Not sure if I'll do a count again next year, but we'll see :)

Cheers mate, was insightful, analysed quite a bit when placing my own punts.
Finished ahead on the night  :)

Had a big bet on JPK most team votes @ 2.10 and Franklin most team votes @ 2.05 which came in and gave me a nice little bumper; was confident neither of these two would be beaten :)
