Anyone know what our salary cap situation will be for next year?  Priddis, Mitchell, Butler to definitely come off the books and would expect a tonne more to be honest, Masten, Petrie, Hill...would like to add Wellingham, Lecras...

I don't personally think any of those boys would be on big coin, but through sheer weight of numbers if we can cull a ton of blokes and go through the draft that will leave us some money left over.

Gotta remember (due to his injury) Nic Nat didn't reach a lot f performance triggers in his contract and thats where a lot of the Smitchell money came from

This is my take on who will go this year

Gone:
Mitchell, Priddis, Brophy

Will probably retire:
Butler, Lecras, Petrie

Trade/Delist:
Hill, Giles, Mackenzie/Schofield, McInnes, Masten

Questionable Rookies:
Lamb, Tunbridge

I included Masten but I have a gut feeling we will keep him haha
Maybe we might keep one of Giles/Petrie, especially if McInnes goes.
We should trade one of Emac/Schoey
Lamb hasn't done anything special this year in the WAFL, 16.1 Disp, 4.3 marks, 1.2 goals, 2.7 Tackles
Tunbridge has been on the list 4 years now, probably time to go.

So thats 13 players which is probably too many to move on in one year unless we actually trade :)

And Butler has announced his retirement

Great bloke who carved out a very handy career, wish him all the best in retirement

So good being there live! On to finals, of all the teams in the top 8 to play away, Port is the one I would have preferred. Lets have a dig lads

Convincing myself GWS win so I don't get my heart ripped to shreds again this year...

Havn't seen anything official about it yet, but I completely expected him to play on

His best is past him, but he is going to be important for us over the next 12 months as we lose a lot of experience and transition

Don't be too upset, he still has value to our club

You will be better playing Lecras than a hack like Jetta some of his efforts on the weekend were weak , heartless in one word pathetic a line should be put through him if the club is serious

He was average but he won it for them the week before

I would rather have Matera > Fasolo > even Ballas than Lecras.  Guy cares more about his hair and fishing reports, have also heard he refuses to play WAFL, anyone confirm this?  That would be enough reason to turf him.

A recipe for losing playing guys that only have a crack every second week , looking at his year seems to be a fairly common thing

RaisyDaisy

Yeah if you added up all the good footy Jetta played this year it would probably equal 1 full game in total

He is very frustrating to watch, especially when he is given the ball on the wing all alone with open space in front of him and he just casually runs and looks lazy. Rarely ever turns it on and runs as fast/break the lines like we expect him to
