My ruling: it's legal but it's against the spirit of the game tbh. Do it at your own risk!

Not that I need to do it, but I can.

And for anybody that is wondering, if someone was to do it against me I'd say well played ;) Should reward those who put the extra effort into their teams ;)

R: Tom Campbell
F: Tom J Lynch (C), Matthew Wright, Shaun Higgins, Luke Breust
U: Ben Reid (D), Matthew Suckling (D), Jeremy Cameron (F)
Emg: Rhys Mathieson (M), Lewis Jetta (M/F), Brett Eddy (F), Tom Phillips (F)

Reserves: Hugh McCluggage, Tom Langdon, Nick Vlaustin, Travis Cloke, Ben Ainsworth, Will Setterfield, Jake Barrett, Jesse Lonergan, Alex Neal-Bullen

No Lycett and Jordan Roughead is frustrating, but that's the way it is.
Expect changes after full sides are named.

So I didn't get to fix my side prior to tonight, and had Dunkley named as M6 as I anticipated he'd play on Monday (when I named my side)

Of course I'd now like to take Phillips score (he's a M/F) as opposed to Barrett/Jetta, but as it's my first time naming for Americas SC I'm not sure how/if I can do it.

If it's not possible, Barrett is no disaster either!

Based on the way scoring works you will receive Mathieson's score (and Jetta's if Mathieson doesn't play).

However, you haven't named a sub yet so surely no one would object to you naming Phillips as sub since this is your first time submitting a team (that way you receive his score to replace the score of your lowest scoring player  :) ) - there's no way to receive Barrett's score because he wasn't named in your round 1 squad

Oops, I meant Mathieson throughout when I said Barrett, have my young lions mixed up.
So if I make Phillips my sub that's all clear?

Yeah you just need to name Phillips as sub - I'm not sure what the rules are if you don't name a sub, but like you said it's the first time you've named a team so surely no one would complain.

Houston Bombers 19.8.122 defeated Colorado Avalanche 17.9.111
(Real: 1832 vs 1667)

Kruuuuuuuuuze! Big effort by the big man to get the Bombers, with help of course, home against a Murphy-lead Colorado who were let down by a few passengers. Also, we have the highest and lowest reserves scores ever in one match! So far, at least...don't think those records will stand long.

Best
Houston: Kreuzer, Adams, Vince, Motlop, Simpson, Hill, Barlow
Colorado: Murphy, Ebert, Hall, Tuohy, I. Smith

Reserves
Rio Grande Valley Rockets 9.7.61 lost to Colorado Bootleggers 10.9.69
(Real: 611 vs 688)

Ottawa Otters 15.15.105 defeated Quito Quetzals 13.13.91
(Real: 1574 vs 1360)

Ottawa weren't great, but they were the better team on the day. Jones scored the most points but Hoges was obviously best on ground as I'm sure he kicked most of Ottawa's 15 goals. And, the lowest ressies score record has been broken!

Best
Ottawa: Jones, Hogan, Prestia, Grigg, McGovern
Quito: Higgins, Lynch

Reserves
Montreal Moose 7.9.51 defeated Galápagos Tortoise 4.5.29
(Real: 513 vs 294)

Anaheim Mighty Ducks 18.12.120 defeated Las Vegas Sinners 17.9.113
(Real: 1794 vs 1701)

Las Vegas were impressive, but Anaheim were the better outfit on the day - but is 120 (with HGA) a championship-caliber score? Not only was Heppell BOG, but he is also the GOAT so he's a star.

Best
Anaheim: Heppell, Merrett, Mitchell, Dangerfield, Lewis, Sandilands
Las Vegas: Rockliff, Franklin, Mitchell

Reserves
Birmingham Dragons 6.6.42 lost to Nevada Desert Coyotes 10.4.64
(Real: 422 vs 635)

New Brooklyn Hawks 16.13.109 lost to Wisconsin Cockerels 20.7.127
(Real: 1634 vs 1912)

New location, new country, new continent, new team? The Cockerels stormed to a big away win on the back of seven goals from Kennedy, with Waite contributing all seven Cockerel behinds. The Stainless Steel (Sidebottom and Jack) combination were great for the Hawks but a few seasoned campaigners, Houli, Cripps, and Jacobs, let them down.

Best
New Brooklyn: Johannisen, Sidebottom, Steele, Crouch, Liberatore
Wisconsin: Kennedy, Gawn, May, Miller, Zorko, Ablett, Duncan, Waite

Reserves
Harlem Naggers 7.7.49 Milwaukee Roosters 10.9.69
(Real: 487 vs 689)

Chicago Sharks 16.13.109 lost to Carolina Panthers 16.14.110
(Real: 1635 vs 1657)

Shiver me timbers that was a close one! Dusty was the key to victory for the Panthers, but in my humble opinion it was Joe Daniher who won them the game and gets my best on ground vote.

Best
Chicago: Yeo, Gaff, Oliver, Parker, Hurn
Carolina: Martin, Kennedy, Bontempelli, Kelly, Daniher

Reserves
Rockford Bears 5.6.36 lost to North Carolina Tar Heels 9.6.60
(Real: 363 vs 599)

Boston Terriers 20.8.128 defeated San Francisco Grizzlies 18.10.118
(Real: 1916 vs 1775)

No Coniglio, no Deledio, no Montagna, no Leuenberger, no Pittard...some problems for the Grizzlies! But you could look at it this way - they lost their first four games last season, so dropping the first isn't the end of the world.

Best
Boston: Laird, Pendlebury, Nankervis, Cotchin, Selwood, Goldstein*, Howe, Riewoldt, Gibbs, Wingard
San Francisco: Wines, Goddard, Shaw, Swallow, Martin

Reserves
Suffolk Terriers 7.8.50 lost to Stanford Cardinal 9.5.59
(Real: 502 vs 594)
