JLTIII means the same thing for supercoaches and AFL coaches, they want to get their strongest team out on the field. I believe if you're wanting any ideas who will play round one then look at the squads this weekend.

In saying that, I think after moving a few pieces around i've got my strongest team and don't think i'll be changing much until conformation.

So if anyone has anything to say please do.

Defence: Shaw, Laird, Mills, Marchbank, Hampton, Vickers-Willis (Kelly, Stewert)

Midfield: Dangerfield, Parker, Trealor, Fyfe, Steven, Hall, O'Meara, Powell-Pepper (Brodie, Barrett, Fox)

Ruck: Sandilands, Nankervis (Witts)

Foward: Dahlhaus, Franklin, Caddy, Hoskin-Elliott, Taranto, Parfitt (Eddy, Bolton)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

A few more little tweaks and I think i'm ready for round one pending team selections!

Defence: Heath Shaw, Rory Laird, Callum Mills, Caleb Marchbank, Curtly Hampton, Ed Vickers-Willis (Otten, Phillips)

Midfield: Patrick Dangerfield, Luke Parker, Adam Treloar, Nat Fyfe, Jack Steven, Dayne Beams, Jaeger O'Meara, Sam Powell-Pepper (Barrett, Wigg, Miles)

Rucks: Tom Hickey, Aaron Sandilands (Cameron)

Fowards: Nick Riewoldt, Luke Dahlhaus, Tom Lynch, Toby Nankervis, Tim Taranto, Braydan Parfitt (Eddy, Butler)

Would appreciate people's thoughts on my team, I think i'm pretty set until teams come out next week.

Nice Team and structure couple of nice PODs. Mills on my watch list especially with Heeny out.  Like the Steven pick as well.

Hickey a gutsy pick which you need if getting the biscuit.

Like most hoping all those rookies come up.

Thanks for the advice!

Hickey I reckon is set for a big year, can keep improving, hope he can lock down a sole ruck position.

Love the team, Hickey the only major concern for me. Can get a big score but very inconsistent. Played against Naismith on the weekend who was first game back after surgery.

Good luck

Thanks, I do like the Hickey pick as I reckon his ready to really bolter this year.

I just hope I get the right rookie selections as I haven't really done the last couple of years.

I think your rookies look right to me. I like Taranto and Marchbank and the others are the stock standard.

Okay here's throwing up something to see what sticks.

My team at the moment is.

Shaw, Laird, Mills, Marchbank, Hampton, Otten (Hibberd, Stewert)

Dangerfield, Parker, Treloar, Fyfe, Steven, Beams, O'meara, Powell-Pepper (Florent, Barrett, Pickett)

Hickey, Sandilands (Cameron)

Dahlhaus, Franklin, Greene, Nankervis, Taranto, Parfitt (Eddy, Butler)

Some news being thrown around with a Marchbank injury rumour and the fact that Watts did extra ruck training, meaning it's probable that Gawn will be lone ruck round one.

What does anyone think about trading out a Parker or Steven to SPS.

Then upgrading Hickey to Gawn and Marchbank to someone?
