Hey everyone!!!

Thank you for all the feedback, it is very appreciated!

I have had a look at the Witts, Dahl and Billings thoughts along with analyzing the first weekend of practice games and this is what i have come up with.
I'm actually really liking the look of  this team. My only concern is Sauce but i think he should improve on last years output.
Let me know what you think :)

DEF: Docherty, T. Adams, Laird, Hartlett, Berry, Vickers-Willis (Newman, Watson)
MIDS: Danger, Pendles, Hanners, Fyfe, O'meara, Swallow, Powell-Pepper Myers (Barrett, Hibberd, Bolton)
RUCKS: Gawn, Jacobs (Cameron)
FWDS: Dahl, Macrae, Heeney, Roughead, McCluggage, Black (Miles, Begley)

1.7k in bank

Backs - I feel are very strong with 3 premiums ad HH who is capable of 90+

Mids - I like the look of the first 4 as i think they will be the top 4 scorers by year end. Swallow and O'meara are both risks but if they can get back to their form from when they were teenagers and go 90+ they could be great stepping stones and feel they are the only players in my team who are in with injury risks. I have also 2 DPP players with Hibberd (back) and Bolton (fwd).

Rucks - I feel are pretty strong. I have no idea who is going to be top two especially with Goldy injured atm and losing a few of his mates.

Fwds - These are the 4 i am most confident in atm. I feel that the forwards are a bit shallow this year and i am just going to go with what i trust. I can't see this changing too much.

Like all the picks apart from Jacobs, you'll be losing 10-15 points per game and you'll probably be stuck with him all season.

Apart from that it's a good team :)

Thank mate! I do agree with you on Jacobs and due to Myers Injury it let's me free up some cash also. This is how I'm looking now with a couple of changes. Very happy!

DEF: Docherty, T. Adams, Laird, Hartlett, Berry, Vickers-Willis (Newman, Watson)
MIDS: Danger, Jelwood, Hanners, Fyfe, O'meara, Swallow, Powell-Pepper Barrett (Graham, Hibberd, Bolton)
RUCKS: Gawn, Grundy (Cameron)
FWDS: Dahl, Macrae, Heeney, Roughead, McCluggage, Black (Miles, Begley)

Let me know of your thoughts of these changes.

In: Jelwood, Grundy, Graham
Out: Pendles, Jacobs, Myers

Ringo

Nice team to sit on pending Rd 1. Berry nursing an injury at the moment so could be doubtful for Rd 1.  Barrett also needs to be elevated from our Rookie list.

Different Structure to a lot of teams I have seen with only 4 prem mids allowing strength on other lines,

Cheers mate, I'm happy with it!

A few changes made since my last entry.
I'm feeling pretty good about this and don't think i'll be needing to make too many changes other than what rookies are named.

Anyway here is my current team.

Backs: Shaw, Laird, Hartlett, Marchbank. Hampton, Otten (Vickers-Willis, Stewart)
Mids: Danger, Jelwood, Treloar, Fyfe, D.Beams, O'meara, Swallow, PP (Barrett, Hibberd, Pickett)
Rucks: Gawn, Sandi (Strnadica)
Fwds: Dahlhaus, Macrae, Greene, Nank, Steele, A. Black (Miles, Eddy)

9.9k left

I feel all lines are strong with maybe the defense being the weakest but the is the line with probably the most rookies to choose from so i feel it is a well balanced team atm.

Peoples thoughts please :)

Peter

Very nice - one extra premium def c/w mine, but structure is great

FWDS: Riewoldt, Dahlhaus, Macare, T. Lynch, Nankervis, Taranto (Eddy, Houston)

Not too bad at all, some good picks in there.

I didn't watch hartlett over the JLT but I'm sure his scores would be irrelevant because a player like him would not give a flying fuc* about pre-season comp lol.

I think Jelwood is going to go beserk after he cost geelong the TAC sponsorship, he'll have a lot of ground to make up after that blunder. I'm strongly considering upgrading to him but will probably end up backing titchell as a break-out candidate.

Great pick in lynch, haven't seen him in many teams.

It's different, which is good but I'd be a bit nervous with only 9k in the bank like if sandi/hartlett don't fire you could be in strife..

9/10 from myself, the missing 1 purely because you have 2 premo defenders who aren't known to be durable + the low cash reserve factor. I think in a season where the rookies are so poor, picking players who are likely to play 20+ games becomes even more important. Let's hope a few gems reveal themselves throughout the season, though.
