ftr, I've just contact afl fantasy to see if they intend on making a women's league next year... because if so this could end up being redundant :P

It's not so much AFL Fantasy we need to worry about, we just need any website to publish the stats (if not FanFooty) and we can calculate the scores from there.

If no one is committed to doing all the player stats, or at least publishing them, then we are in a spot of bother.

I meant regarding the positions, a third party setting it would probs be more accurate than what we do

there wont be an AFL fantasy comp for women's next year (they'll start it in 2018 apparently), I'll check with SC tomoz I guess :P

lol I thought you meant stats as well  ;D ... we will just go with what we can find out I guess .. as Ossie said this year is just a practice year.

I'm not entirely sure this is the thread for it, or if I should be PMing this to Levi or whatever but after doing a bit of digging (my lord, it was tough) Lou Watton's a ruck and Sophie Casey is a forward flanker. And Taryn Priestly is a mid. Gemma Houghton apparently hasn't even played a competitive footy game yet and so nobody really knows her position (like legit the Freo site hasn't even got a position for her profile).

Have fixed them now. Thanks Nige :)

I know it's 11th hour but requesting two changes. 1 which I feel I wouldn'tve been able to make earlier.

Player Name: Gemma Houghton
Current Position(s): M
Suggested New Position(s): R/F
Reasoning: Pre-season game against Adelaide her first competitive match of football. No one had a position for her before that. Now listed on fremantle's website as a Ruck, but listed as a forward flanker in other places. Will happily take just Ruck though.
