At those prices,  Hibberd, Heppell and Myers strong options.   Ryder at 410 probably not worth it at 300 I would think about it.    Jobe would only come into consideration if I was strapped for cash.     Rest not worth considering.   I was thinking Belly would  down around 200k or lower given time out of the game.

Yeah I agree, only Hibberd and Myers are the two locks for me

Heppell under strong consideration, but with Fyfe and Beams being under priced I might pass on Heppell

Gawn and Goldy set and forget I'd think - Ryder at F3 would be solid as priced well for a perma forward who can provide ruck cover

Gigantor

Hibberd, Myers and maybe Ryder for me.

Not convinced on Heppell at that price, I would want him to average at least 105, closer to 110 would be better. To much uncertainty with the likes of Zerrett running around and the kids like Parish. Plus overall the whole Bombers situation is completely unprecedented and impossible to predict how the players will perform :) He could be a nice upgrade option if he starts slow.

I've done a bit of math and as far as I can tell they got a 10% discount, and the magic number used was around 5480.

That magic number is interesting as this year it was about 5396 so that means everyone is going to be a bit more expensive in 2017  :-\

10% probably puts many players of the out of the question and leaves us with only one or two worth consideration.   In view of not impacting the overall mix of players in teams in 2017 a good result by SC.
Heppell still a good selection as floor of 105 with upside improvement due to peak age.

Hibberd not even a lock for me. Not with Bern playing a half back role and Melbourne never really having the history of good fantasy half back flankers.

Myers a definite lock, can't believe he is so cheap. Heppell an interesting price but probably better to not waste a trade on an upgrade later on for an ultimate premo.

Nobody else I would ever consider.

Yep agree Myers only one because so cheap , Hibberd not for me at this stage , Heppell tempting but will wait to see how my team shapes up first

"It all comes down to game difficulty. We looked at his discounted price and thought that was too generous."

Fair call I say

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, that's a lot of coin

Beams' and Fyfe's discounted prices will also be too generous. Can already see it happening.

_wato

Fyfe $573k Ablett $620k

OK, we know this is the big question everyone wants answered so let's get it out of the way now. The Team Picker will be launched - all things being well - this afternoon. We don't have a specific time but keep an eye on the Herald Sun website.
