I was tossing between towers and smith for ages as well... when towers scored half decent I was like- oh well, smith can probs get that.

Poor clay though, he's had a rough run.

Titans could push 1670ish this week. There's a statement for the rest of the competition!

Sorry about that guys

B: Laird 110, Spurr, Haynes 73, Hurn
M: Adams 95, Gaff (VC), Hunter 150 (C), Mundy
R: Hickey
F: Watts 91, Johnson 87, Lynch 100, C Smith 5

I think that's potentially a solid team. Some hard decisions regarding captaincy, D4, F4 (and F3 with deciding whether to play nicholls in the ruck and hickey as a forward). Overall though, reasonably happy.

893 with Spurr, Hurn, Gaff, Mundy, Hickey

Zip is ahead but this is going down to the wire!

I had to play with a zero and 2 OOP that round, pretty unfair to use that as an example haha

1685 in first week of finals, that speaks louder than round 9  :P

Hellopplz

Iceland knock out the reigning Premiers! Wolves just had an off week and we pounced >:D.

Also advanced to the Semis in the Champs League after knocking off Serbia so repping Europe well :D.

Zip is ahead but this is going down to the wire!

So final score
Bashers: 1292
Valkyries: 1343

is there HGA for the higher ranked team? If so it was a lot closer, but Valkyries still win it in a really low scoring effort :P

Towers over clay smith :P

(we can play this game all night)

We were actually carried by our backline pretty hard tbh... we only had (4?) guys crack the ton and 3 of them were defenders :P

And Wills for Blair and while we're talking about things that wouldn't have happened Brodie Smith Captain.

There we won! Haha

Holz

Russian Roulettes 137 lost to Hungarian Hulks 148

Greek Titans 169 def Serbian Eagles 147

Iceland Polar Bears 148 def Macedonian Wolves 127

Belgian Bashers 131 lost to Svalbard Valkyries 134

wow what a week. The hulks knocked out the minor premiers who will now have to battle for their lives. Greece put in the score of the round and Serbia but up a good score but were well beaten. Last year Premiers go out round 1 showing how even the comp is with the HP lead polar bears making it through. Belgium the team you hate to play with their monster score ability were unfortunately for them and fortunately for the valks off and the valks progress, but with a low score they must lift next week.

So we have Greece and Hungary with the week off.

The minor premiers (Russia) head will stay at home but this time they are playing Iceland.

The valkyires were lucky to walk away with a win this week but now face the much tougher task of Serbia in Serbia.

The first match should be a very good battle, the second the Valks come in strong underdogs but who knows what can happen its finals football.

The Bashers boys have had their day off and its not into pre-season.
