Just a pressure cooker Rd19 to go before AXV finals kickoff.

Rd 20

QF1: 1st vs 4th
QF2: 2nd vs 3rd

EF1: 5th vs 8th
EF2: 6th vs 7th

Just like the AFL with the home team getting HGA still

  ROUND 18 Ladder
1   Australian Ales         119%   60
2   Bangkok Crabs        114%   60
3   Tibetan Llamas        113%   60
4   KL Crocodiles          113%   56
5   Sri Lankan Strikers    109%   52
6   UAE Tigers             107%   48
7   Mongolian Lambs     109%   44
8   Laos Elephants       105%   44

If any other coaches are interested we can run a similar finals format for teams finishing 9 - 16.
Let us know if this suits you.

We're probably gonna get mauled in EF1 anyway, so I'm not too fussed.  :P

I'll do it if the other coaches want it, but personally it should be a time to follow the top 8 teams battle it out, not play for some minority cup. If we do would the results affect draft picks? If so I should agree because my team is in such bad form right now I could end up with a higher pick :P

im ok without a 9-16 draw :P
Same.

If it did go ahead though, it definitely shouldn't alter draft order IMO

Totally agree it shouldn't alter the draft order, it would be immensely unfair for the bottom team to miss out on #1.

In this scenario there'd be the potential for a team just missing finals to gain that valuable first pick, unlikely l know, but possible.

No, my scenario meant that if I won the bottom 8 comp id get pick 8 in the draft. The two teams knocked out wk 1 would get picks 1 and 2.

That's why I said I could move up the draft order, because my team is going to finish 9th but there's teams below that would beat me on current form so I would get knocked out earlier and thus finish lower thus higher draft pick.

I'm getting pick 1 and 3 no matter what, no changing in the draft order 8)

I couldn't care less about a loser comp, I'll be out after the first week, so doesn't really worry me.

So you left the Premiership side Tibet to Coach the bottom side? :o

Our forwardline depth finally paying off with midfielders left out this week for F/Ms scoring 120+ Regularly  ;D

Selection at the Llamas harder than ever! That's still with three gun defenders out with knees and a GUN mid banned :-\

Semi Final 1. Llamas vs Strikers
Semi Final 2. Crocs vs Tigers

Prelim 1. Crabs vs winner SF2
Prelim 2. Ales vs Winner SF1

HGA in both Semis and Prelims but not GF.

You may as well go for the Crocs, because the Llamas will be out by Sunday night.  ;)
