Last two spots in my team... HELP

So I have enough money in the bank to make a couple trades now and need a defender for Adams and a forward for Kerridge/Petracca

Current players:
D: Shaw, Docherty, Simpson, Boyd, Laird, Adams (Collins, Tucker)

F: Martin, Wells, Zorko, Greene, Hall, Kerridge (Menadue, Petracca)

So who is the best defender? Was thinking McVeigh or Johanisson.

Best forward?? Plenty of cover here so may wait until Barlow makes a return.
