Houston Bombers 19.10.124 defeated Boston Terriers 18.13.121
(Real: 1865 vs 1819)

Boston come off the unbeaten list with a narrow loss at Houston, while the Bombers get back to an even 2-2. Despite having 2 extra players named in the best, Boston couldn't scrape over the line, which could come costly later in the season as the ladder starts to take shape. Star midfielder Matt Priddis' late withdrawal was probably the deciding factor in Boston's loss.

Best
Houston: Rance, Heeney, Stevens, Darling, Hill, Macmillan
Boston: Goldstein, Neale, Biggs, Rich, Dahlhaus, Riewoldt, LeCras, Dal Santo

Ottawa Otters 17.12.114 defeated Chicago Sharks 15.15.105
(Real: 1704 vs 1582)

Another unbeaten team bites the dust as Ottawa, although not perfect, get over the line. Marcus Adams was given a risky vice-captaincy that didn't pay off (72), and Ottawa also had half of their team score under 75, but got home on star power - Hanley's 148 was almost match-winning. Chicago also suffered from some players playing poorly, with a host of poor performances - although their sub was not needed (Oliver, 41). Ottawa climb to 2-2 while Chicago drop to 3-1 - just like in the last match.

Best
Ottawa: Hanley, Zaharakis, Treloar, Naitanui, McIntosh, Johannisen
Chicago: Gaff, Yeo, Lobb, Tyson, Selwood, Wells

Anaheim Mighty Ducks 19.10.126 defeated New Brooklyn Hawks 14.12.96
(Real: 1886 vs 1438)

And the last of the unbeaten sides goes down as well! To be frank, the Hawks didn't deserve to be on the same field today - they were dreadful, just as the franchise was starting to turn upwards. The whole backline scored in the 50s (including vice-captain Houli), captain Blicavs could only manage 51, and all up there was only one centurion. Anaheim didn't have to score well, but they did anyway.

Best
Anaheim: Hannebery, Nicholls, Merrett, Greene, McDonald-Tipungwuti, Boak, Birchall
New Brooklyn: Sidebottom

Gg Ele. Thought Goldy may have scraped you over the line in this one!

Santiago Cockerels 20.10.130 defeated Colorado Avalanche 16.6.102
(Real: 1944 v 1529)

Santiago were just way too good for the Colorado boys as they posted a great score and were firing on all cylinders. Colorado only really had their captain Aaron Hall and fellow midfielder Lachie Hunter show up while 8 of the Cockerels put in show-stopping performances. With this display, the Cockerels have put the competition on notice showing they certainly have the firepower to romp any team on their day.

Best
Santiago: Ablett, Armitage, Shuey, Gawn, Waite, Zorko, Billings, Whitfield
Colorado: Hall, Hunter

Las Vegas Sinners 19.11.125 defeated Carolina Panthers 16.14.110
(Real: 1871 v 1651)

The Sinners are finally winners and grinners this week as they took down the Panthers in front of the their home crowd. The who's who of Las Vegas stood up and showed off like only they can while Carolina had a couple of passengers bringing the team down. As a result, the Sinners jump off the bottom of the ladder and pick up their first win of 2016.

Best
Las Vegas: Taylor, Fyfe, Lewis, Ziebell, Caddy, Franklin, Walker
Carolina: Docherty, Ward, Shiel, Mumford

Quito Quetzals 19.9.123 defeated San Francisco Grizzlies 17.12.114
(Real: 1847 v 1713)

Can you believe it? Last year's premiers are on struggle street right now! The San Francisco Grizzlies slump to an unexpected 0-4 and will sit last on the ladder after another defeat. The Quito Quetzals were pretty good and can be proud of their effort with captain Sam Mitchell leading from the front to help them notch up the win.

Best
Quito: Simpson, Suckling, Savage, Mitchell, Griffen, Lynch, Lycett
San Francisco: Steven, Montagna, Christensen, Betts, Coniglio
