Originally named on the bench, Callum Mills was called up this weekend to replace Jack Redden, and has finished with this weeks Rising Star nomination, just edging out Harmes and Beastmode!

Suggestions for how to find the winner of Rising Star:
1) Current Method - Using averages for games played - Little difficult to go back and find all games played by them.
2) Have Coaches vote for 5 in preferential order with winner being the player with most votes. This is similar to how the AFL decides its rising star.

What about best average but have a minimum games limit? This way we dont have a kid that played 2 games win the award.

Yeah atm you have to have played at least 5 games, however highest average could turn it into a midfielders award. I kinda like the idea of being able to vote for a top 5 or something tbh, but that's just me

Rhys Mathieson ranged between 103 and 170 in his 8 games. With an average of 132. What a gun.
And little Jade Gresham ( who will be a forward next year) has had the last 6 out of 7 games over 100 (120 avg).

How bout Darcy Parish? 18 games and only 4 times sub 100. Averaging an amazing 129. Crazy good!
Was a bumper crop the 2015 draft!

So you're in favour of the vote then?

I'd like to move that the vote include all first year players.
Marcus Adams and Michael Hartley are being genuinely discriminated against and robbed by the current criteria.

Has to be a Vote, easiest thing to model on the AFL.
