Going to be another long, hard season for the Dolphins but, you can see a good, young nucleus of a team there which I plan to keep together as the season roll on and turn into a top side.

Basically where we are at just sitting and waiting is going to pay big dividends.

In defence I can see the following guys developing into premiums/best XV players given time - Vlastuin, Williams, Maynard, Kolodjashniji, Cutler and Colquhoun with a few others with potential (Wright/Nelson).

In midfield Langford Caddy and Guthrie are my oldest players at just 23 so everyone has a sprightly future.

In the ruck I've tried to pick up some depth to back-up Kreuzer but, a second ruckman remains our side's biggest weakness. Campbell and O'Brien showed good signs last season so hopefully one of them can fill that role. Though if Kreuzer remains fit then there's no worries at all.

And, up forward we have the most potential - a strategy specifically targeted to this scoring system which rewards goals.

A forward line of Heeney, Boyd, Schache and Peter Wright should instill fear into any opposition given another 2-3 years (when those mids will be in their prime. And, then there's plenty of likely types in reserve (Laverde, Cripps, Turner, Honeychurch, Lamb, Towers) who also need time.

This was an all-out rebuild but, as I said before the nucleus of the team is there - it just needs game time to develop.

Adamant

The rebuild is complete.

Bangladesh Bears - 2015 XV

D: Matthew Boyd, Garrick Ibbotson, Paul Duffield, Andrew Walker
M: Nathan Fyfe, Joel Selwood, Sam Mitchell, Ben Cunnington
R: Ben McEvoy
F: Nick Riewoldt, Mark LeCras, Brent Harvey, Cyril Rioli
U: Aaron Sandilands, Daniel Cross

Average age: 29.6

Bangladesh Bears - 2016 XV

D: Jack Grimes, Shane Savage, James Aish, Cameron Sutcliffe
M: Nathan Fyfe, Tom Liberatore, Jack Redden, Ben Cunnington
R: Ben McEvoy
F: Charlie Dixon, Adam Tomlinson, Matthew Pavlich, Jonathon Patton
U: David Zaharakis, Sam Kerridge

Average age: 24.5

Overall I'm pretty content with where we are at. We've significantly reduced the age profile of the squad whilst not losing too much depth in the process, hopefully we can still remain reasonably competitive this season.

If Steve Morris is in your XV, you're gonna have a bad time.

Also are they sharing the points from Redden? ;)

Well with the approved trades Redden, Pickett, & Howe are out & Taylor, Mayes, & Hallahan are in.
APPROVED
Reasoning: Redden is a high scoring mid, averaging a tick under 130, and being a high tackling player can be a real premium in this game, making his worth above Taylor, who is a consistent forward. Mayes and Hallahan are both worth quite a bit more than Pickett and Howe, making this trade even enough to pass.
