Read an article just before with a pretty interesting stat.

We've won 16 of the past 17 games where we've outscored the opposition in the first quarter.
Apparently you've never lost when you've scored more than the opposition across a whole match.  :o ;) ::) 8)

and sing it one and all  :P

A shame the Tigers lost, but I think they relied too much on counter-attacking football and the lack of discipline is still present in some players (Rance probably being the worst).

Cotchin is still too easily nullified and the Ellis/Houli tags were very effective.

In the end, it came down to North's dominance in the contest, and the immortal Brent Harvey. Richmond will have the off-season to work on their depth, and if they do that successfully I have no doubt that they will be challenging for (and likely in) the top 4 next season

You are so lucky mate, North almost kicked themselves out of it and the way you boasted about how easy this win would be... gee good thing they won :)

Tigger fans, blame the fact they were allowed to rest last week, the VFL shafted you there.

Cotchin just has to find a way to get around a tag and today was the most important time to do it but he had a couple of mates in Ellis tagged as well and Edwards well he has no excuse  :'(

Big Mac

Disappointing

Not sure how else you can spin it

Mark was unrewarded just 2 minutes later in North forward line.

Ball was rebounded.  the difference we forced a turnover and got a goal.

Lucky we didnt kick straight

roo boys!

Thanks has gotta go to both sides for giving yet another exciting game to go with last night's spectacle

There's no doubting this Tigers' squad has talent, whether its enough to take the next step with some natural development or they'll need to do some recruiting (Yarran doesn't count :P) is yet to be seen.

Edwards would have kicked a goal to level it, centre bounce... we were pushing and had the momentum

The non holding the ball decision was a shocker but no point looking at that. We were out played in the 2nd half plain and simple.
The coach and list are fine, the dissapotinting thing is being smashed in contested ball and tackles. Those things are mental problems, not talent.
I don't understand how you can run out In front of a crowd of 90,000 people (80% of which were Richmond supporters) and not be so amped up that you tackle and go harder than you ever have. Could even forgive players for over committing and giving away free kicks for being ruthless but there's no excuse for being off in that area especially after the lessons we learned the past 2 years.
