The fixtures for all three domestic competitions are listed above and should all be correct.

The first class competition will be run one of the following ways:
Option 1
Rounds 1 through 7 everyone plays everyone
Round 8 is Major Semi: 1st vs 2nd, Minor Semi: 3rd vs 4th
Round 9 is Loser of the Major vs Winner of the Minor
Round 10 is Winner of the Major vs Winner of the Prelim

Option 2
Rounds 2 through 8 everyone plays everyone (This gives people a chance to see the talent)
Round 9 is 1st vs 4th, 2nd vs 3rd
Round 10 is the winner of the two semis.

Option 3
Rounds 2 through 8 everyone plays everyone (This gives people a chance to see the talent)
Round 9 is 2nd vs 3rd
Round 10 is the winner of the Prelim final vs 1st place

I am leaning towards Option 1 taking Round 1 off probably isn't that necessary.

The One Day Cup will be interesting as there's 7 teams so it could be run one of the following ways:
Option 1
- The matches get split into threes so there is 7 rounds.
- We have two groups of 4 and everyone plays everyone in the first three rounds.
- The top two from each group create a new group of 4 (Like a Super 4s comp)
- Everyone plays everyone once in those three rounds
- The top 2 sides in that group play a final in Round 7
- This can be replicated minus the final for the bottom four sides

Option 2
- The matches get split into 5 rounds. 4, 4, 4, 4, and 5.
- We have two groups of 4, everyone plays everyone once in the first three rounds.
- The top two sides from each group progress and play semis.
- The winning sides play a final in Round 5 which spans the final 5 matches of the season.
- Round 5 will also have a 3rd vs 4th, 5th vs 6th, 7th vs 8th match

I don't have a preference for this one

The T20 Big Bash can be run the following ways:
Option 1
- Everyone plays everyone once from Round 1 through 7.
- 1st vs 2nd, 3rd vs 4th, 5th vs 6th, 7th vs 8th in Round 8

Option 2
- Because right now when the games get split into 4s there are period where we have about 1 hour from the end of one round to the start of the next (1 to 2 and 4 to 5) we could split the game the following way: 6, 6, 6, 6, 8
- Two groups of 4. after 3 rounds the top 2 teams from each group play semis. Then the final spans 8 matches and should be a great high scoring contest

Option 3
- Similar to Option 2 except we split: 6, 4, 4, 6, 6, 6 OR 6, 6, 6, 6, 4, 4 to again avoid rounds ending/beginning in the middle of days where two games are played.
- We have two groups of 4 again, after three round the top 2 from each group form a new group (Super 4s).
- Everyone plays everyone once there and the winners are those that finish top of that group

2 or 3 would be my favourite options here.

Overall, I think it would be cool if we had three different fixture structures for the three comps, which is why I'm against Option 1 for the Big Bash. Interested to hear people's thoughts.

PowerBug

Ok, seeing as no one is replying, I will propose this:

First Class we pick Option 1 listed above
One Day Cup we pick Option 2 listed above
Big Bash we pick Option 3 list above with a 6, 4, 4, 6, 6, 6, split.

Sorry didn't see this at all..  For me Option 2 for all of them would be my preference.

I agree, I think option 2 is the best for all of them.

BB67th

I'm with you PB, option 1, 2 and 3 for the 3 comps, I think having a bit of variety between thme would be good.

PowerBug

Sorry guys that haven't voiced their opinion, executive decision here says the First Class competition will take Option 1.

The other two though I still want to hear more voices :)

Scrads

My vote is

OD: Option 1
Big Bash: Option 3

:)

We will go with Option 2 for the OD Cup.

Due to HGA the T20 is a mix of 2 and 3 which is explained in the rules.

Jay

Yeah looks good. I like option 3 for the T20 comp :)
