no love for Petterd Toga? thought he was pretty good for you last year?

mainly an XV question
I think he has a spot, probably in for one of Lloyd/Hunt/Lambert in the team Toga posted. Dimma loves the bloke, it's hard to say. We'll find out soon though.

Petterd makes me nervous every time he gets the ball - hard worker, but just doesn't do much to excite me.

Lloyd's good form as a dangerous small forward should see him get a game in round 1, and I think Hunt looks like a more pacey, skilful version of Petterd so would prefer to see him in the team instead. Could take Lambert's spot I suppose.

Hunt's probably got better pace, but his disposal is worse than Ricky's.

Who would the Bean need to push out of the squad to get a game?

It's unlikely Jack would be pushed out. So Tyrone or Griff. There's a slim chance of him playing even with those 3 in the side, but that would probably be if Hampson and Maric were both injured and one or both had to play ruck, or Griff was played down back.

Few players out of form and out of position at the moment.
Right now I would say the best 22 is

FB: Vlastuin, Astbury, Batchelor

HB: Houli, Rance, Chaplin

C: Ellis, Martin, McIntosh

HF: Knights, Griffiths, Deledio

FF: Lloyd, Reiwoldt, Edwards

R: Maric, Cotchin, Miles

I/C: Hunt, Morris, Grigg sub: Gordon

Hunt I think should be used for what he's good at which is tagging. We still struggle with the games best mids and don't adapt if they get on top.
Morris is a defender, he can't play forward to save himself so don't play him there.
Defence have been great and hard to leave people out. Astbury in probably forces one of Grimes or Batchelor out.
Knights brings an X factor to the forward line

Hate to toot my own horn but this was the team that lined up apart from Newy in for Deledio and we won by 79 points  8)
If anyone from the RFC are reading this, I'm available
