To other matters, what are everybody's thoughts on expanding the players we play, seeing as we're only a 12 side comp?
12 x 18 = 216 players per week (us current)
12 x 22 = 264 players per week (us with 22s)
18 x 15 = 270 players per week (XV comps with 18 teams, like worlds)

22 seems natural seeing as that's how much real teams name - but how we do that needs to be talked about. I'm thinking of just adding 1 player to every line, except rucks - so 5 backs, 7 mids, a ruck, 5 forwards, and 4 utilities.

What are everybody elses thoughts?

i just feel if we're going to do it needs to be flexible as team list are very flexible these days

Yeah ofc, give teams a chance to adjust via trading and drafting, and get it into people's systems (might do a warmup comp during the AFL finals, idk :3), and ofc we'll have to get the name changed to AXVXXIIs :P

Yeah that's a great option too, we'll have a poll with all the team-sheet options (and whether or not we make the jump) at the end of the season, so open to any other suggestions.

Yeah that's a great option too, we'll have a poll with all the team-sheet options (and whether or not we make the jump) at the end of the season, so open to any other suggestions.

Although I think the vote will be most likely unanimous, shouldn't be put it to a vote (there may be coaches who can't field that many players - Pk is in a rebuilding phase, and moneyshot has been cursed with injury, and it could be detrimental to their line-ups)

So i've probably got around 25 players who are best 22, 13 ??? and 4 blokes who I see as injury prone.

I myself wouldn't be loving this AXXII comp. Unless the top ladder boys are keen to even out the comp a bit.

Yeah but unless someone is chasing picks, it's pretty hard to get ahead when the previous coach traded out 3 or so premiums for a bunch of draft picks and fodder.
