Peruvian Llamas - 429

Travis Boak (73)  Jasper Pittard (95) Matthew Broadbent (87),  David Armitage (101) Sean Dempster (73)
EMG: Shaun Atley

Vs

South Africa - 368

Jordan Lewis (63) Luke Hodge (100) Brent Stanton (65) Michael Hurley (74) Joe Daniher (66)

Emg: James Gwlit (108)

I wouldn't have expected Armitage and Dempster to outscore Lewis and Hodge in an easy Hawthorn win but that's what happened.

Good to get another win.

So all teams are done - except France. France the only team (of 8 ) remaining from Draft 2 (the Ablett/Pendlebury draft!).

AAA
Western Australia 5/447  v   Chile 5/487
Chile get a much needed win over a big team WA to keep in touch, while WA fall back to the pack.

QLD/NT 5/447  v   Venezuela 5/552
This Venezuela team is going to be hard to stop, especially if Ward scores 175 every week. QLD/NT put in a GREAT performance, but have fallen short.

Victoria 5/449  v   Mexico 5/538
Victoria will be disappointed, but Mexico have hit a rich Dangerfield run of form.

Cote d'Ivoire 5/386  v   California 5/534
California are back people!!! While Cote d'Ivoire have a Judd sized problem.

Egypt 5/452  v   Argentina 5/350
Egypt new coach! Against old coach! Ouch, that hurts. Sorry guys

South Africa 5/368  v   Peru 5/429
Hodge and Lewis not enough, Peru showing some class.

EurAsia
Denmark 5/490  v   Japan 5/404
Denmark can feel pretty good about themselves

United Kingdom 5/379  v   Israel 5/353
UK can count themselves lucky against a coach-less Israel, that win was very lucky

Ireland 5/411  v   Pakistan 5/336
Pakistan can thank M Johnson for his lovely score of -3. Ouch. Ireland too strong for them.

Russia  5/461 v   India 5/495
India stormed home thanks to mammoth scores from Higgins and Roberton of all people

France 2/221  v   Thailand 5/448
France the only team not done, needing 227 to tie from Swan, Viney and Oxley... this is close.

Germany 5/432  v   Sri Lanka 5/470
Sri Lanka are still well and truly a flag threat

VENEZUELA, I mean, wtf? Just about guaranteed next stage yet (unless they lose 4 or 5 matches) and are now an incredible 3 games clear! But seriously all the 11 other teams are still well and truly in contention, this is exceptionally close.

Thailand and France are still playing....

Pakistan and Germany are getting nervous, while the UK and Sri Lanka are in prime position

Remember, only top 5 go through to the final 10.... and we have 5 more rounds of this stage

LaHug

I think I'm down and out. My recent struggles have mainly been due to little injuries and Judd out does not help. Three weeks off now, yeah?

No time off. Don't worry byes won't disadvantage anyone. We'll play 1 round over Round 11 and half of Round 12, and another over half of Round 12 and all of Round 13. Unlimited emergencies

United Kingdom 5/379  v   Israel 5/353
UK can count themselves lucky against a coach-less Israel, that win was very lucky

Missing Picken and Langford this week had to play spud Crameri, my team played bad ..was I lucky ..shower yeah  ;D

Was I lucky because I played a coachless team ? im not sure never seen Israel's line-up don't think they have a team thread. Would they have won if a better team was selected ?

France also had the last pick in draft 2. Oxley was a somewhat inspired late pick :P

We've also struggled a bit with points against :(
