Great stuff Purps!

And my 4th Europe Spoon...

I mean, wtf. 2nd-4th have percentages lower than 100 for goodness sake  ::)
Hahahaha, really have to laugh at that fact. You guys just can't perform against the other European Nations yet score so well :-X.

And Marseilles reigning supreme still :D. Our defence is top notch down in the Reserves ;). PNL doing well, need to win against Mexico in our bracket to ensure home advantage come Finals.

roo boys!

RUN TO THE FINALS

5. Berlin Brewers

9/6 - 108.69%

Rd 16 vs Rio de Janeiro @ Rio
Rd 17 vs Toronto @ Berlin

With a superior percentage Berlin would be pretty confident of a home final

6. Pacific Islanders

9/6 - 103.86%

Rd 16 vs Seoul @ Seoul
Rd 17 vs Tokyo @ Tokyo

Potentially both danger games, especially considering they're away games, but I'm backing Pacific in for a finals berth. Fight for a home final is on

7. New York Revolution

9/6 - 101.36%

Rd 16 vs Beijing @ Beijing
Rd 17 vs Seoul @ Seoul

Similar to Pacific, both could potentially be danger games considering they're being played away and Seoul's form. However New York would enter favourites for both and you'd expect them to make no mistake from here

8. Moscow Spetsnaz

9/6 - 99.95%

Rd 16 vs Cape Town @ Cape Town
Rd 17 vs Buenos Aires @ Moscow

Suddenly a scare for Moscow given last week's score, Cape Town are a good side but you'd imagine a home game against Buenos Aires will secure a finals berth for Moscow, with 2 wins needed if they're any chance for a home final, given a poor percentage

9. Toronto Wolves

8/7 - 103.38%

Rd 16 vs Christchurch @ Christchurch
Rd 17 vs Berlin @ Berlin

Undoubtedly the hardest two rounds of the teams competing for finals, would need two strong performances and a slice of luck for Toronto to make it from here

Can't really see Cape Town, Tokyo or Seoul making up the 2 game buffer + percentage from here

To be fair besides London I destroued them

meow meow

Still a good chance to finish 2nd. Need to get over the Wolves and Royals and then watch Mexico City take out PNL for me next week, then Dublin take out Mexico City the week after. Might need a #CobraStrike to take out PNL in R17 due to their superior percentage. Would settle for 3rd if PNL can hang onto 2nd spot, I reckon we could take them even away from home.

Great write up rb!

Reckon if Moscow lose next week, then surely the gods will get Toronto to finals  :P

Is that your way of saying you're going to tip against Christchurch again next week? Toronto are dangerous and I'm glad that we'll have HGA next week, something we haven't had since the bye rounds.

I hope Pacific play New York in an elimination final. Means one of those teams will win a final, which is a huge story in either case

They touched us up last week, so I would be happy to get a shot at revenge and getting a finals win :)

I just want to get to the finals first :P don't think Pacific have ever been there?

New York, Pacific and Christchurch looking at first finals apperance

Purple 77

After Round 16:

We have 7 guaranteed teams to make the finals! Well done to Pacific, New York and Christchurch in your first appearances! Whoo!

Moscow face Buenos Aires next week, so it would take a miracle for the Spetsnaz to lose that one. If they did, only then does any of Toronto, Tokyo or Cape Town have a chance to take that last spot.

New Delhi have pretty much got the spoon now. It seems crazy that Rio are still in the bottom 4, but it would seem almost cruel now if they do win next week and Beijing lose, that the Thunder will get back into the 4. Just goes to show we had 15 pretty solid teams this year!

And reserves:

Funnily enough, Siberia (Moscow's affiliate) is in pretty much the identical situation to Moscow. It looks like we will have 4 finalists where its senior affiliate didn't make finals, so there is still something to be interested about for those coaches!
