Also strange to see where the bids are going. 8 teams with only 5 choices yet 32 different players ended up on the board  :P

One player received 3 bids I believe. I should probably keep track of it all haha

PowerBug

Alright, that is Round 1 closed, and off the top of my head every team has secured at least one player, will take a while to sort through everything.

Round 2 will close Thursday 5th February, 10:00pm AEDST

I will PM each team in the next half hour or so.

Additionally, I need to add something to the rules. If two or more teams bid the same amount on a player, and that ends up being the winning bid, what will occur is those two teams only will get the opportunity to place one more bid on the player, winner gets the player. This bid, should it occur, will NOT count as one of the five bids for the round. And yes, I had to add this because there is someone there which has two identical bids. Neither team will be told this bid is being shared with someone else.

BratPack

Well I guess the "Go Hard" strategy worked :P Means I'm probably flowered if Abbott or Behrendorff falls though

Nige

Pretty happy we got some blokes.  :P

PowerBug

Now the first round is meant to start on the 15th February, which is only 11 days away. I'm not sure if we can get everything done by then. Based on current times, we will finish 6 rounds on the 13th February.

I'm wondering whether teams would be open to maybe shortening rounds to one day, maybe after Round 3, just to get through things a little quicker. Otherwise I suppose we can go through the 15th Feb, and just have a simple KO comp from the 24th Feb, everyone should be done by then :)

As long as it's after this round. I won't be on tonight or till late tomorrow, I don't want to miss a round  :P

BB67th

That sounds good for me. It should be good to get the auction moving a little faster.

I will definitely not be changing the current deadline set. I may leave the next round to 2 days as well, then start going one day from there.
