Beautifully positioned, much stronger than my own team as I have 3 spots to fill with only 5 trades. Sims to De Koning would be the cherry on top, I would do that trade when the opportunity arises, hopefully Xerri makes that an affordable trade in.

arbel

I think Smith into Xerri is the play this week. I almost put it on Serong but was afraid of the tag which didn't come in the end.

Sadly, I thought the same ended up with Xerri with the C.

Ringo

Went Holmes into Xerri in the end.  Not a good week this week may struggle to 1900 Whod have thought Sinclair and Neale may not be in best 18.

Round 15 results

Another reasonable week saved by Bont and Darcy today.

Rd 15 Score 2,115
Rd 15 Rank 24,744
Overall Rank 914(down 3)
Cash $42,900

Trades
Hewett to McCarthy
Gray to Allan
El-Hawli to Darcy

Rd 14 Team

Good: Holmes, Wanganeen Millera, Sheezel, Zorko. Anderson, Butters, Bontempelli, Serong, Daicos, Daniel, Darcy, Warner,
Average: Rozee, Merrett, Smith, Horne-Francis
Bad: Sinclair, Neale, Xerri
Ugly: Johnson, Sims

Picked wrong VC and C which was costly.

Not sure on trades this week or whether to sit with only 6 trades.
Initial Thoughts:
Option 1
Gross to Liddy
Pedlar to Butler
Leaves Cash $188k
Could go Sims to player $385k and below or sit. eg Curtin, Humphrey, Flanders, Sheldrick, Lobb Lipinski who will sit at flex, 10K short of Mills
Option 2
Gross to Liddy
Day Wicks to Butler
Getting rid of a couple of non players.

Decisions/Drecisions

Bully

Looking at your forward bench I'd say Butler would be nice insurance, Liddy is an ok cheap option, probably good for some quick cash.

Ringo

After some detailed analysis and with only 6 trades have decided on these trades

Brock to Tauru
Gross to Liddy
Pedlar to Mills

Leaves me with this completed team and 3 trades
DEF: Sinclair, Wanganeen Milera, Sheezel, Rozee, Holmes, Zorko (McCarthy, Tauru)
MID: Anderson, Butters, Bontempelli, Dawson, Serong, Daicos, Merrett, Neale (Johnson, Allen, Liddy)
Ruck: Gawn, Xerri (Boyd floating donut)
FWD: Petracca, Horne-Francis, Daniel, Darcy, Warner, Smith  (Sims, Day Wicks)
Flex: Mills

Not the best but serviceable. Bench cover reasonable.

Bully

If a forward goes down you will be exposed at F6, Butler would be better for your structure.

arbel

I think this path gives you best possible team but yes you could be exposed with a FWD injury but with the 3 trades get the option to sideways if need be

Thanks for the suggestion to use Butler and via DPPs have been able to get in

Johnson to Liddy
Gross to Butler
Sims to Mills

Used Johnson rather than Brock as need Allen/McCarthy swing

Think this final team may be slightly better:

Day-Wicks with DPP gives flexibility as 5 fwds have mid DPP as well.

no idea on VC/C this week so many options.  Bont will be tagged thinking maybe Anderson into Naicos.

Bully

I'm going Xerri into Naicos, should be fairly safe.
