I've had Marc Murphy as a lock in my midfield all pre-season. I figured he is consistent, durable and a definite for the top 6-7 midfielders for the season.

So when I read this today I start to have second thoughts. Running around with the injured players & missing the last training session isn't my ideal situation for a midfield premium.

Is what Carrazo is saying PR or do we think there is a problem?

Will still play tomorrow night slight niggle but will come good.

All the Murphy doubters were saying the same thing last year when he was coming off shoulder surgery. Nothing to worry about here. He is an absolute gun and will dominate from round 1.

Cruiseon

Yeah but to be honest I don't want my premium midfielders with any slight niggles on the eve of round 1.

If it's true I will be swapping him to Gibbs although not a D/M this year did get a massive wrap from Ratten similiar to Murphys last year which could be a good omen

What niggle? There is nothing wrong with him.

Murphy has missed one game (well disguised club suspension) in 5 years. If that's not durable, I don't know what is.

Impromptu has turned everyone into scaredy cats.

Definitely agree he has a great history of being durable, just don't want to hear any signs that this might be about to change.

I think I'm leaning towards keeping him. Just hope I don't see the dreaded rested in a couple of weeks.

It's just his routine.

If I was a footballer I wouldn't want to strain myself too hard the day before a game either.

+1 +2 +3 , read the same today , good solid hitout on the track then a brief freshen up before game day & BANG ! good to go , move on people , don't panic , it's the worst thing you can do .

Just a bump as Bunyip was asking a similar question
