It was already known he was leaving by mid season ;). Announced this almost straight after the Dogs got eliminated.

They will miss his run & carry off half-back, Hargrave will probably go back to that position next year, perhaps 2009 all over again for Hargrave?

Possibly. Unless they want to try some youngsters in that position.

Would prefer Hargrave to do it and keep Lake, Morris and Williams all in the backline to cover him. Harbrow leaving does let Hargrave move up and Williams to be able to slot in to play on another guy.

Morris is flexible enough to play on small defenders as well. A very nice player to have in the team.
