Depends who you have at R2, if Witts then go for it. If you have spent 500k then you have to back your premos.

Ryder to R3 and Cameron to F6 in order get Butler's score?

Sounds reasonable.

Has nothing to do with who you have at R2.

You switch Strnadica forward, put Ryder at R3 and keep rucks as normal.

You would bank Butler's 90 odd score over Ryder playing in the wet at Sydney.

RaisyDaisy

Wouldn't bother

Just back in Ryder. Worst case you lose 10-15 points so no biggy

Yes it does,

If you have Witts are R2 you make the change and field Ryder in Rucks. Witts on Bench and take Butlers score.

If you need to bench Ryder then it is down to personal opinion, personally I would lock in the score as it is something that could either be a 20 point loss or 20 point gain.

Correct Sneezy, Witts vs 96 is a no brainer. Ryder vs 96 probably take but 50/50. Gawn, Goldy, Martin, Grundy vs 96 you have to back your premos.

You can still play a 500k ruck and bank Butler's score. It's certainly not one or the other as the comment I was replying to suggested.
