The thread for the Auction of players for the Season 2 T20 Trophy. Rules are posted below, they are the pretty much the same as in our other auctions. Also note that from this Auction one player you purchase may be retained for 75% of their purchase price for Season 3 (Note you don't have to make this decision until next season comes around, but worth thinking about when buying players this season)

3.2 T20 Auction
- The T20 Big Bash sees an increase of players, many of them overseas superstars. Domestic 6s runs accounts for this and each season a T20 Auction will be held. This Auction will be run sometime in November as teams start to finalise their squads for the competition
- The Auction will run the same as the Free Agent Auction without the compensation picks for the bottom sides of the previous season.
- Each franchise may bid twice per day naming up to 5 players that they wish to bid on starting from $1,000 and in multiples of $1,000.
- If a player goes 24 hours without a bid then they will go to that side for the upcoming T20 competition.
- Each franchise is allowed up to 5 T20 contracts per season.
- Prior to the Auction beginning each franchise may nominate one player that they wish to keep on their squad from the previous season for 75% of the price they paid last time. (Not this season)
- The Auction has an end date of Monday 19th December 7:30pm ACST. As such any player that is bid on on or after the 18th December will have a finishing time of 7:30pm on the Monday 19th December. From the 18th December franchises have unlimited bids per day.
