Lol. Better luck next year Nigel Thornberry.

A solid start to the season. But currently on a four game losing streak (our worst streak being 0-6 last season).

We won 5 from 15 last season.. at this point it looks like that will be repeated or a slight improvement (probably 6 from 15) is possible..

One thing is for certain... we lack the match-winners to contend for the finals :-\ (Gaj being our only one and it looks as though he is quickly losing that status as well). We really lack premium players and have no elite premiums whatsoever

Solid young players... however, our promising signs from rounds 1 to 4 were merely just form.

It's going to get tougher from here (too many inconsistent performers and I have developed an unhealthy habit of picking the wrong depth players in our starting lineups) - round nine was an accurate representation of our side this season  :(

Back to the trade-table... Back to the draft... and most importantly, give the players time to develop (the problem now is recruiting the appropriate long-term replacements for our older players and trading for short-term depth).

A really disappointing week for a lot or our players, a decent week for others, and I cannot really attribute any blame to the younger prospects (e.g. Gawn, Macrae, & Billings).

Disgusting effort by Hammer though... despite some scoring less than him ('some', not many though)... he was the most disappointing...

Quito Quetzals 16.12.108 lost to Boston Terriers 24.4.148
(Real: 1624 vs 2215)

Quito didn't deserve to lose, especially not this badly - just look at the previous games this round! They didn't even come close, but I challenge Boston to score near this next week...or ever beat the Grizzlies! New record for highest score, third highest ever winning margin, and third most players named in the best.

Best
Quito: Lycett, Gibbs, Wingard, Simpson, Cameron, Goddard
Boston: Goldstein, Ross, Cotchin, Neale, Pendlebury, Gray, Riewoldt, Kelly, Priddis, Dal Santo, Howe

Fking love this team.

Just warming up too, watch out San Fran.

Also, I remember trying to palm off Howe to T-Dog in the trade period, so glad he declined! ;D

Fair to say his stocks have risen in the past month, seems to have settled really well across halfback doing what I expected Tommy Langdon to do this season!

Now that you've mentioned it, look for him to score a 50 next week

Also, in the SF-Boston big rivalry - since I won my first game I've scored 644 points - Boston has scored 642. Rivalry definitely set to continue! (Admittedly that stat relies on not including my first four games, although it does include a certain outlier in the 148)
