Ringo isn't there HGA for all finals besides the GF? That's what it was last year. Otherwise there's no point in finishing higher except a double chance (would have "tanked" to play Winchester)
My mistake Spite Deleted a fair bit before posting and missed that. HGA will apply to all matches erxcept GF.

Yeah named them all just in case of late outs(Simpson in last week) as they are all emergencies for their teams.Thought Sheed might have the best chance of being an in due to the stupid 3 rucks Eagles have named so picked him as sub.

As you know been in hospital and not able to check teams. Giants and Swaggers failed to lodge teams this week. As these teams are in the plate finals what are thoughts that these are the 2 teams eliminated from the plate as the 2 lowest scoring teams or should we consider using last weeks teams.

Just eliminate them both.
Knowing both coaches, they probably couldn't care less about the plate.
In fact, I recall Nails saying he 'cbf' posting a team this week.

Well shut my mouth.
Although I will have to cop a 37, 42, 51 and a HA of 18, they were offset by
McGlynn 145
Mundy 137
Kelly 122
Cornes 112

Hurricanes: 241 + Robert Murphy + Patrick Dangerfield (C) + Stefan Martin + HA (18)

As far as I can see, Sam Shaw isn't playing, and subs only count for scoring players, so Polec can't replace smith. Amirite??? Plus did I miss a captain? :o
Was a ploy not to show you my captaincy choice. :P Libba is my auto-captain. We didn't have any other players playing. I'm not sure if Morris' 24 comes in for Smith.
Ward was your first named mid, therefore I think he should be your captain ;)
Polec's score goes in as OOP ruck.

Really should name your captain on the submission thread though... ::)
As we are in finals I am ruling that with no captain or vice captain named there will be no double points involved for Manchester. Named 2 minutes after bounce and due to finals penalties need to apply.
Also as Polec is your first named emergency he would replace N Smith in ruck oop for half points.

You can't be serious Ringo? When has that rule ever been present? You can't just name finals rules on the spot.
Whoops, didn't see the post at 8pm. Teams are locked after first bounce...

Yes but the auto-captain rule still is in play. It was NEVER mentioned that it wouldn't be.
When my Captain and Vice Captain were late outs i get nothing. so suck it up :P
I can make rulings as administrator and you chose not to name a captain or VC so you take my penalty.

Auto-captain rule when there was NO captain or Vice captain named. I would be in support of a rule that says it goes to List Lodgement if Captain & Vice-Captain don't play either.
And it isn't in the rules thread...
You can name an EVC as well. Besides, if you name a captain or VC and they don't play, then 99/100 times I'd call tanking
#sacktorp
Torp, it's the finals.
If you were to win because you were given a captain or allowed to pick it during the round that would hardly be fair on your opponent.
You only have yourself to blame for not naming a captain or team on time.
Technically you named you team after bounce so all Tigers and Bombers players can be removed from your team and replaced by the next lot on your preference list
I'ts not like Torp is going to threatened the comp. It's pretty much between the Badger and Hedgehogs.
To be fair, he did name a team before, just without C or VC. Added it just after 8pm AEST
