Final matches of the home and Away series.
Round 17 (Round 19 AFL: July 31st to August 3rd)
1. Bradford Badgers v Newcastle Falcons @ Badger Village
Newcastle need to win this one if the wish to fight for4th position but Badgers would be favourites.
2. Crosby Cruisers v Winchester Werewolves @ Ewood Park
With the werewolves faltering can the Cruisers continue their pain and give themselves a chance for 8th position.
3. Liverpool Rams v Huddersfield Hawks @ Goodison Park
8th Position is Hawks to lose and if they fall to the Rams then a number of teams can join them on points and % will decide 8th Position.
4. Hastings Hurricanes v Manchester Magic @ Pilot Fields
Magic will consolidate 4th position with a win but should Hurricanes win Magic may miss Top 4.
5. Leeds Leeches v Staines Steins @ Elland Road Stadium
Leeches favoured here
6. Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs v Blackpool Bunnies @ Todmorden Sports Centre
Hedgehogs favoured here and will take top position if Werewolves falter. Really strong win needed to boost % should Werewolves win.
7. Nottingham Hoods v Grope Lane Giants @ Trent Bridge
Hoods should be too strong for Giants and will remain in the hunmt for 4th position.
8. Swindon Swaggers v Oxford Owls @ The County Ground
Both equal on points and winner may be in the mix for 8th position.
9. Swansea Breakers v Birmingham Dragons @ Swalec Stadium
Both Teams will be looking for a win to complete the season.
As we have a game on Thursday Night game between Dockers and Blues there will be a partial lock out with Blues and Dockers Players locked at bounce of their game on Thursday 8:10pm. Remaining players to be locked at Bounce of Swans Bombers Friday night
Updates to be lodged by 9:00m AEST on Monday

Your last two comments have pretty much said, 'I don't want to win so I can get a better draft pick'.
I think you should stop making these comments as a joke as you should be given several warnings of tanking.

You can by naming a non player as Captain. Bear in mind though that if it is your sub in that position to take the place you will not get a sub for the game.

Certainly helps my cause ;)
As per rules I will be naming balance of Badgers Team. Even though original post has now been deleted it was originally posted and not deleted till after start of Dockers/Blues game and as such these players stand with balance of team to be based on priority lists lodged. Dockers and Blus players not named are excluded.
Badgers team for this week having only named Barlow and Judd initially will be:
B: Hanley, Trent Mackenzie, Mackie, Butler
M: Barlow, Cotchin (c), Griffen (vc), Prestia
R; Minson
F; Darling, Puopolo, Lynch, Fasolo
U: Judd, DalSanto
E: Higgins, May, Austin, Broughton
No sub will be named

Wow that's a super strong side I got named one week before finals :P
Surely Higgins would be priority over Fasolo?
You have Fasolo at 20 and Higgins at 23.

Really tempted to take Newnes off the trade table, averaging 104 in his last 3 :D
Also, Ringo, I'm guessing that Jamo replaces Cross? The rules are a bit unclear (definition of "emergencies" as opposed to "interchange" etc)
Yep Jamo comes in for Cross as first named on emergency bench

Relying on players making final teams and late outs for my emergencies because if I have a late out anywhere I`ll be getting donuts
Langdon back in so in he comes
Pathetic

The Bartel one I must have copied down wrong.
Lockout wasn't over when I was updating my scores so I got Fisher's and Merrett's score through the "fixtures/results" page on the Sportal website as I assumed the scores given there would be the correct ones.
Obviously not though. Pretty stupid of the Sportal website to give different fantasy scores on their fixtures/results page compared to their fantasy competition ::)
No worries Rusty all good. As I have said numerous times this is basically the main reason why I like scores posted as it picks up mistakes both ways. (I advise coaches as I did in this case of any adjustments greater than 10 points).
Not overly impressed with Sportal site myself as I know final scores change a bit from time to time. Hope they fix this next year though. As a lot of coaches know was very slow to get a Sportal competition going this year so there may be some problems.

Poor rules won the game. Only XV that rewards the team that scores less points. It's cannot be compares to the AGL at all.
If you don't like the rules, comp or the way it's administrated then you're welcome to leave any time.
Apologies for the lateness coaches but I needed to be sure of final table standings as you will see with 8th and final position and percentages so close.
What an up and down round for some teams. Werewolves looks as though they are in trouble without GAJ suffering 3rd straight defeat but they have the finals experience, Magic dropping out of 4th place and handing it to the Hoods. To illustrate the closeness of the fight for 8th position this was held by Hawks on their own and a win would have consolidated but the loss dropped them form 8th to 11th but still equal on points with 8th position.

Pretty low score again for Werewolves. Wish I was versing them this week instead of Hedgehogs!
Did you finish 4th lez?
;)
Didn't notice the werewolves lost again. Funny that top spot would be mine if I was more active or had co coach who rocked up once this year...
The BXV season is test of your teams ability and your coaching ability. Cant chuck a tantrum if you miss out due to poor coaching ;)
You actually didn't name a team that week so you could argue, that you did bad coaching.
But it didn't cost us the win ;)
Poor rules won the game. Only XV that rewards the team that scores less points. It's cannot be compares to the AGL at all.
Whether you like the rules or not its irrelevant. Everyone knew the rules, you just didn't take advantage of the rewards on offer. Are you offering to add up all the scores for every team for the rest of the life of BXV? I don't think you are so its fair play that everyone does their part ::)
At the end of the day...

I'm not sure if I should try and get 18 or 13 lol.
No double chance. :( should take care of the Falcons.

Extremely lucky to sneak back into 4th spot this week
Hoping like hell team announcements are kind to us this week or could be out in straight sets

Just you wait until Watson comes back ;)
Hurricanes looking to do some damage in the finals 8)
so not posting scores that game against Vinny which cost me the much very nearly cost me a top 8 spot? think i would have just missed out on % still
Well our season turned to shower in the second half of the year...
You still would have lost that game if you posted scores KB.
Would be playing finals if I made Beams captain instead of SJ >:(
