Teams named here
Macedonian Wolves Vs Serbian Eagles
Scotland Savage Sons Vs Greek Titans
Iceland Polar Bears Vs Belgian Bashers
Belarus Bison Vs Swedish Metal
Spanish Stallions Vs Svalbard Valkyries
Dutch Dinos Vs Russian Roulettes
English Lions Vs Norwegian Trolls
Any particular format that we need to post the team with?
Also do we name the whole team or only players playing first week?
Don't mind LF, will be putting it all into a spreadsheet anyway.
4 x Def, 4 x Mid, 4 x Fwd, 1 x Ruck, 2 x Utility (1 player named as Capt)
3 Emgs
Obviously only require coaches to lock in players for the first 4 games due to the split round. Can either name the whole team and update after the weekend, or just name the players involved.
Are we starting from round 1 of the AFL this year?

I only ask because in BXV we have to name the whole team this week
Oops. Correct, sorry all. Gone too early :-[

After a gruelling pre-season, I'm given the Belgian boys a week off. They deserve it!

1307 the final score with Wells replacing Bennell. Not a bad effort with some fringe guys getting a gig. Certainly hoping a few guys can continue first week form and think Iceland can be a real force in the finals! Not as close as you'd hope Zippy, but your guys are younger so can't really blame them!

My starting mids had an absolute shocker... Not a single one over 70 for the starting 4! I mean... I don't even :(. Better now than in season though. Despite this, my team still managed to outscore you two :P. Gotta say loving my backup mids in Tyson/Ray, doing phenomenal to start the season! Backs looking to be consistent with nice scores and forwards could certainly do better! So beware when Iceland begin to fire :D.
Not looking forward to this week at all now we basically have no decent backline players unless Clancee gets a game this week then that will save us a bit.

Also, Macedonia have changed their Forward emergency from Puopolo to Jackson Merrett.

He didn't really spend 2012 on your list, you traded him before the season started ;)
Also reading that update you said that Lewis was 24 when you traded for him, but really he was 25 turning 26 in a few months. But semantics really ;)
You've got far too much time on your hands for real :P

we welcome back Roughy who spent 2012 on our list before being traded for the 2013 season. He has returned, as we all knew would happen (see here (http://forum.fanfooty.com.au/index.php/topic,44922.msg594145.html#msg594145)) so its great to have the big ledge back on board.
We traded you Lewis for two years of Roughead and then Lobbe as he enters his prime. On top of that, we managed to get Cripps who is doing alright in exchange for Jenkins. Hindsight makes me so happy with those trades :D

Just finished uni exams, got nothing but time (for the next 2 days)
I'm so confused I don't even know #toomanytrades
All I know is we traded Lobbe in for free pretty much and then turned him into a guaranteed top 5 fwd :P

I have a feeling it was poor old Spink/Spite :P

Love the new layout Spink :)
Only thing I would suggest is maybe lining up the forwards and backs from teams opposed to each other, rather than forwards with forwards, what do you think?
Really like this idea. Might take a few weeks but will have a muck around and see what I can come up with.

Macedonian Wolves Round 1:
B: Aaron Mullett, Andrew Walker, David Swallow, Taylor Duryea(87)
M: Jobe Watson(VC), Brent Stanton(C), Brad Ebert, Chris Masten
R: Matthew Leuenberger
F: Jack Gunston(88), Luke Breust(116), Michael Walters(33), Jay Schulz
U: Liam Shiels(99), Bernie Vince
E: Sam Gibson(M), Jackson Merrett(F), Greg Broughton(B)
Going a risk with Stants captain over Jobe, but will need something like that to pay off to be a chance v Serbia.
423/5
Really good start, but Walters injury may hurt. Should have played Jackson Merrett :(
Bison on 537/5 with captain Mundy played. A disappointing night from him, but considering 3 of our 4 defenders have now played that's a pretty good start to the round :)
2/190
Shame big Rough didn't go on with things but a handy start nonetheless.

Mitchell, Suckling, and de Boer all solid. Duffield and Mundy disappointingly quiet :(

Mundy scored 80% of his points (66 of 82) in the first and last quarter. Went missing in the middle :(

Emergencies are killing it :-\
Jacobs with 109 just sitting there (can't see Lobbe or the mid/interchange group beating that), Dunstan even better with a big ton, even Paparone's 71 was healthy and outscored Cripps.
Add to that not even naming Jackson or Chaplin anywhere, and having Mundy as C over Mitchell and Rocky, and I really managed to screw up team selection this week...
flowering pissed
if we go 0-1 (likely)
Hope we smash it tomorrow and Belarus trip on their horns. My super flowering stud premos have been super flowering shower.
And we have another injured defender ::)

B: Grimes, Hanley 118, Bugg, Haynes

R: Giles
F: Caddy 63, Higgins 95, Lynch 75, Betts 47
U: Bastinac, Cunnington
E: Golby 110, Kelly, Hawkins 74, Nicholls 67
We currently have 5 fit forwards to choose from :/
Ziebell has started the year filthily, but I'll back my boy in to dominate for euros, which is why he gets the nod over guys like Trengove. I'm not confident on hickey considering his injury cloud + vs cox/ nic nat, and I'll rate giles to dominate the dees.
My team this week is basically based on the premise that the giants are going to crush melbourne :P
Apparently stevens didn't play, so I'm guessing Kelly's making his debut?
How come you named 4 emergencies zip? Also fairly sure you will have Golby come on not Kelly. Basti or Cunnington can move to the mids and Golby to the interchange. So good news for you ;)
I always forget if I can or can't, so always do it.
And I always forget if we take it by position or by first on list :P

Utility first for covering positions than first listed player on emergency who is the same position.
JZ not looking like the 105+ super gun yet.

Basti covers him so you need to fill a utility spot so the first emg plays (golby)
Jz is out so cunnington replaces him and Hawkins now on your utility bench

Not super upset with many of the scores. Bett's 47 is pretty filthy though. Really happy with Bugg, Higgins and Golby, and I've been loving the consistency from Gaff so far.

1437.
Thanks cunnington/ bastinac :)
solid performance from Kelly's first full hit out, as well as mcdonald pushing for selection if he can put up another couple of 80+ scores.
flower my forward line though. I need Goodes back lol.
