Been disappointed with our performances too, so hopefully a sign of us turning it around.
Noticed on the ladder Spink Polar Bears are 1-0-1 but played 3 games? Might need some fixing.
The top 3 on points for right now is exactly what I expected preseason to be the case all year. Obviously, anything can happen from here (I'm particularly impressed by the Wolves) but it's good to see the three powerhouses on top early.
It's also nice to see Serbia and Sweden losing early games to give us a head start ;)

Alot of teams struggled for scoring form with only Serbia and Iceland scoring over 140 both weeks (Belgium and Macedonia had big weeks in Round 9 though). Belarus begins their slump as well... Cheers, am pretty knackered today so may crack out the other two rounds on Friday considering tomorrow I have doc app and work and Thursday I'm out all day to go try Exitus (Escape a room in a certain amount of time with friends :D).

To be honest HP if you didn't come in and save it this week there's a pretty high chance the Metal would've had a new coach by Monday next week.
Pretty sure Spinks and Holz have some things to deal with in real life (I know about Holz's stuff) so thought I'd help them out slowly since I'm on holidays.
Trying to get through this stuff while juggling other commitments and relaxation time which is why it's over a couple of days :). Glad to know it's still keeping people interested, and once we're up to date, it's easier to maintain everything 8).

Belgium show that they too can take down the Serbian Giants while other top contender in Russia took a huge stumble against Scotland when Captain Ablett succumbed to injury which will seriously hamper their trek to the premiership.
Sweden pull off the great escape against Greece who almost caused a huge upset!
Belarus break their 4 game losing streak here as well!
Spain/Iceland consolidate spots in the 8 while Macedonia show they are serious contenders this season with the only score over 140 this round.

Russia are the HUGE droppers of the round. 1 loss made them fall from 3rd last round to 7th this round which highlights how equal most of the competition is!!

That is week one of Euros finals complete. A couple of extremely close games where the Metal only just held on, to win by under 5 points. Serbia and Iceland had excellent weeks certainly sending a message to the other teams in the competition. Unfortunately, the Lions and Roulettes have been eliminated. However the most exciting game of the week is no doubt the second face off in a row between rivals, Spanish Stallions and Belgian Bashers. Amazingly, the game ended in a DRAW however Euro rules show that the team that finished higher on the ladder would be awarded the win leaving a devastated Bashers squad.
Finals Week 2 Fixtures:
Serbian Eagles and
Spanish Stallions progress to PRELIMINARY FINAL and get the week off.
English Lions and
Russian Roulettes are unfortunately ELIMINATED.

Yeah, haha. I had it wrong at first with us getting up by 5 points but Ele pointed out that the wrong player got HGA. Which meant 1466 all, it is in the other thread.

Congratulations to the Polar Bears who once again produced a great score led by an astounding effort from captain Jordan Lewis who finished the game with 44 touches. In the second semi-final, Bashers after a devastating defeat last week produced the goods knocking off the reigning champs Swedish Metal. Credit goes to the Bashers midfield with all players providing a solid four quarter effort.
