So Birmingham have finished trading already. 5 movements, done.

Berminham gives:
Westhoff, Lycett, Rioli, B Reid and Dean Cox for Bellchambers, Zaharakis, Pick 17or18, 26, 47

:/ Gotta say KB, reckon I could have offered more for some players. But I was waiting until the trading began - no idea on what the rush is.

Post by: kilbluff1985 on August 30, 2013, 11:07:48 AM
I have a clear direction on where I'm taking the team simple as that really

I wanted a younger ruck so I could Trade Cox for a pick done both

I wanted another Captain option got one in Zaharakis annoying relying on Murphy and Lewis

Have also done a trade with one of my older players for another round one pick but have to do it next trade period and maybe get a defender for Hartlett who will be a mid only

I find it easier to get in early trading before teams run out of movements I am happy I have done what I planned to do

I do have a strategy not like I'm just going nuts

And most of your players would be to old for me Ossie

Would have at least given you more for Cox, your loss I suppose, not sure on the rush is all kb. Westhoff and rioli both young forwards that you could have got more for also imo

Yeah I agree with Ossie.

Zaha isn't in my top 5 players. Nor is Lewis and Murphy.

what is your point? you have Barlow, Cotchin, Griffin, Swallow I have Murphy and Lewis so I needed someone else

Westhoff will be 28 next year I wouldn't call that young ???

The point was that none of your players would even be considered skipper at the mighty Badgers lol, so not sure why you picked an average midfielder as a captain potential. That was my point. And Dion 'The Man' 'The greatest Gold Coast player ever' Prestia was actually a captain option.

Noticed that the OP has picks for 6 rounds, but says that is has it listed for 5. Are there gonna be 5 or 6 rounds?  ???

The National draft will be over how many rounds it takes for all teams to complete the complement of 41 players so if you have 8 vacancies there will be 8 rounds for you.

Still in the process of trolling through all trades to list on the front page PB hopefully all will be there tomorrow.

As per the Rules i will be ruling on all trades.  If I decline a trade there is the option to appeal to the trades review committee to rule.  If a majority of coaches also think that a trade should be negated then that trade will also be sent to the trades committee.

the trades committee are totally independent of British xv's having no teams and comprises Ziplock. MyChumps and Holzman

Hope that clarifies for you.

Johnston is one of the players Adelaide have labeled as a much needed player and will not be traded by Adelaide under any circumstances that doesnt exactly sound like someone that won't be playing next year.

If you want Walker i want a young gun in return.

Know this is not in the rules but if I will be rejecting a trade I will notify coaches involved and give them 49hrs to agree to a new deal prior to posting rejection. Think this is fair that coaches involved have 48hrs to renegotiate a fairer deal.

To answer KB's question it means I am still assessing them  unless I have contacted you regarding possible rejection of trade.

Haha dude you are against every trade that is made.

It's sad really, every trade but his own of course ::)

Sorry for having an opinion on a forum ::)

Feel free to have an opinion, but perhaps opening your other eye would be worthwhile.

Piece of life advice for ya.

One was with Lobsters who were using there additional movement as per rule change and as such Werewolves not counted as a player movement. remember the extra 2 player movements for the lower teams do not count for player movements so long as it is nominated as an extra movement.

He was Pick 7 in PSD but that means little to nothing. Only thing I could see to justify for the trade. Maybe KB mixed it up, otherwise it makes 0 sense, haha.

Aaron Hall is a PSD #7 Pick.

Sam Day was pick no 3 in the 2010 draft and has only just turned 21, we all no big men take time and my team needed a good young forward. Would i have been able to pick someone like Day up in the draft this year with pick 13 ? you guys can decide on that. I thought it was a good trade.

He isn't that good in his last two years he played 15 and 20 games and averaged 8 and 10 disposals. He might be good one day but I would have rather taken the punt on Pick 13. In a fantasy drsft a gun can slip down.

I don't appreciate anyone hinting the Bombers are tanking i find this very harsh

Wells is like 29 years old a mid that averages 110 they are easy to find maybe worth more then pick 13 but nobody wanted him

Hall a very good young forward had a good solid year averaged 78 in Sportal and should only improve and GC are going to be a very good team for years to come

Seriously sick of people doing this with trades

Bombers list is still damn bloody good so i don't know how we can be seen as tanking and our list is now set for at least the next 3-5 years

By no means did I mean you guys were tanking KB! Not sure why you thought that.

I know you want a younger list as you want to be competitive for a long time and not just one year win a flag and struggle.

Your team and you can do whatever you want mate, people are just giving their opinion on trades. Same thing happened to my trades :)

Just remember with trades there are a few restrictions with one for one trades which I have to take into consideration when ruling on trades. I am sure if our rule was not one for one there would have been different offers put up. As an example say Werewolves offered a first round pick for a player compared to the Lobsters first round pick.  Trade has to be similar as both offering first round pick and Werewolves could not offer an additional sweetener with it based on one for one.

Trust this explains why some trades were approved that may have seemed unfair at first glance and makes sense,

I can't see Cachia getting many games at all. He is a tagger and we already have Curnow who is doing very solid. Plus I am not sure Mick rates him, post-game when commentators and journalists brought up Cachia's great game he kept pointing out mistakes and insisting he didnt play that well. Did not look at one positive at all. Just saying :)

If Curnow wants to tag then Cachia will be released as the gun ball winning midfielder he was at Norwood. He was redrafted for a reason, his tagging games were probably just to get him used to AFL tempo.

Oxford give: Travis Cloke + Brett Goodes + Lewis Johnston + NAT #9 + NAT #44
Liverpool give: Aaron Black + Dylan Shiel + Mitch Duncan + NAT #11 + Troy Chaplin

To break it down. Vin has been chasing Mitch Duncan and a defender like Chaplin for a while, while I've been doing the same for Goodes and Johnston. While we're both going young, we're both holding on to and looking for a bit of experience as well. Pick 9 for 11 is a small difference. I have a stack of defenders so losing Chaplin is fine. Black's young and should only get better while Cloke's pretty good as it is and I don't think his output will improve, but I'm happy to have him considering his potential to score quite nicely. I only use one list movement too as all that I'm giving bar Duncan are pick or players I've received this period, thus meaning they're being on-traded.

That's good to hear. I wanted to use my (not to toot my own horn) good trading skills to make sure it was as even as possible when I first put it forward to vin so that if he didn't like it, we could make slight adjustments. It caters to the needs and desires of both coaches/teams and so I can't see any reason it would be frowned upon.

Confirmed. 8)

This trade is fair. Credit to Nige for putting the deal on the table! Mastermind. It's exactly what both sides need. Although we gave up a solid back I think the others make up for it. We are hoping to fix our backline through drafting and future trading. :)
Although the loss of Cloke hurts for the sake of the team. I am glad we got rid of the flog. :P We will just rotate Garlett and Black based on form!

Jetta was huge in 2012. He'll get back to that form, Mzungu has much lower potential.

Ok a trade between the Leeches and Cruisers.

Leeds Leeches give: Jarrad Waite + Jonathon Simpkin

Crosby Cruisers give: Sam Gilbert + Sam Kerridge

Given we feel our team is in a position to challenge for a Top 4 spot next season this trade makes sense for us. An un-vested Simpkin looks like a better, and more consistent, scorer than Kerridge. However, Kerridge has youth on his side and will be a good player in the future.

Gilbert has done well in the past but we have plenty of depth in defence, especially with Simpson and McVeigh likely to get def eligibility next year, and needed a forward which we get in Waite. Although injury-prone when he is fit he can score big so is worth the risk.

jhello to confirm.

Newcastle Falcons give: Lindsay Thomas and Jackson Paine
Liverpool Lobsters give: Brent Reilly and ND Pick 49

Spink to confirm.

Spink wanted a defender, I felt that one of my depth defenders will surely step up to cover the loss of Reilly and 49 is being on-traded. Thomas either has great games or ordinary games while Jackson Paine's move to Brisbane should see him play more and become a decent scorer as he's got the potential.

If anyone wants to give me a reasonable midfield player for Pick 44, I'm happy to hear all offers.

Good luck. I was being nice to give you Duigan for 55 lol

I just need another mid to be safe. Matt Thomas hasn't been picked up yet so I need another mid (who is fringe best 22) not wanted/needed by somebody.

last year pick 44 could have snatched Neade, Terlich, Hutchings, Kommer, McBean or Laird, not sure on this years draft but it could definitely pay off, Nige isn't asking for anything special either

Confirmed for the reasons above.

Trade 47
Owls give: Tom Mitchell + NAT 25
Bombers give: Andrew Swallow + NAT 47
Trade still being assessed based on list movements - just need to confirm how many movements Owls have used. Owls do not get extra movements as they finished 12th. Have not got all data in NZ but will look at what I have to try and rule by the weekend.

Hey Ringo i just noticed this btw Mitchell and Swallow are both on trades so movements should not be an issue

Crosby Cruisers give: M Boyd + J Adcock + H Scotland

Newcastle Falcons give: J Martin + D Smith + Pick 46 Nat

While this does strip us of our young talent, it does give us proven guns who will give us a very strong chance of a flag.

Title: Re: 2013/14 LISTED TRADES
Post by: Memphistopheles on November 16, 2013, 06:24:52 PM
Reasons as follows.

Jack Martin and Devon Smith are both future guns, could get 10 good years out of them and we think both should become premos.

Scotland has one season left imo, while Boyd probably has 2-3 but is a deadset gun/premo.

Adcock also a gun/premo back but you have to give something to get something.

Looking at who we will delist (3 to chop I think) and we would actually just use that last pick as well.

Yes it sets our team back a little next season but it sets us up for the future - it's not often you get a chance to pick up a player like Martin who has been touted as better than JOM (if that's possible) so we couldn't resist.

Basically the trade sets up Spinking's team to put in a real good flag challenge and our team will still be strong but come on real even stronger when some of our younger players (like Martin and Smith) develop.

Cruiser getting busy close to deadline day. Here's another one involving us.

Crosby gives: Jarrad McVeigh+NAT 46
Hebden Bridge gives: Nathan Jones + Curtly Hampton

Elephants to confirm.

From our perspective Nathan Jones better fits into our premiership window given the previous trade we did and under Paul Roos and with more help we think he should thrive.

McVeigh is an out-and-out gun and will be dpp next season which is valuable but Hampton is on the rise and can start for us next year in def so it's suitable compensation.

Jones is going to be great under Roos and Hampton has a lot of promise.

McVeigh is a proven scorer and something we were hunting for.

still depending on who teams delist and who of them get picked up in the AFL preseason draft rookie 7 could be a valuable pick just....

also given a few gems out of the sanfl wafl etc will go in the preseason.

i like the trade 7 to 5 a solid upgrade also that close to the pointy end. the rook upgrade balances it nicely.

yeah picks are close and trade is even, so as long as both parties are getting what suits them no fuss :)

there are some real smokies in this seasons draft, and the point about the picks being similar in value by JB is valid, but so is the point about it could be the difference between getting the player you want or not :)

Liverpool give: Luke Delaney and Jackson Paine

Nigey to confirm

Title: Re: 2013/14 LISTED TRADES
Post by: Memphistopheles on December 05, 2013, 08:00:02 PM
To be clearer on our reasonings (I just read the rules blurb where it says reason need to be given) we felt that having lost Simpson and Pavlich in the last trade we could do with a bit more def and fwd def which we get in Delaney and Paine who should both improve at new clubs.

Nigey was after Currie as a back-up as he already has Goldy and Ben Brown and with Christensen's arrival Simpkin would have just been depth.

As for the previous trade we get a future young gun in Christensen as well as a good depth defender in Suban which fits into our new age profile/approach following the acquisition of Jack Martin in the first trade period. Simpson should get dpp and will be good and Pav is a gun but they are aging and only have a few seasons left compared with 5+ for the other two.

Yep, both those boys are on-trades for us as that's all we can do.

Got a fair few defenders and forwards, and we need to boost our mid depth and get a slightly more experienced mid who should get games, so Joffa Simpkin comes in. Dan Currie was pursued because we have Ben Brown and we figure if Majak (who we don't have) and Goldy are injured for North, one of Currie or Benny will play.  :P

EDIT: Should probably say... Confirmed!

Just remember those coaches with extra movements who have not nominated and used them can trade with any coach and that does not count as a player movement for that coach.

Lobsters have used their 2
Swaggers have 2 and Steins, Giants, Magic and Leeches all 1 have an additional list movements if required.

Come on guys bear in mind this is Sportal scoring which favours Swan a little.

I was involved in the negotiations and am happy with it.

Average ppg from this year under SC scoring:
Swan 154.76
Selwood 135.95

( I have all the records for this year so if you want to check any scores etc with me feel free to PM me)

So imo trade is reasonably even for the reasons that Swan is reaching the end of his career  whereas Selwood has a little youth on his side.

Anyway as per the rules I set for the Breakers trade is being run through the trades committee as well prior to ruling.

Thing is though, Selwood is 25. We haven't even seen the best of him yet.

Look at his last 9 games. That is the kind of performances we should expect regularly from Selwood.

Swan has what, 1? 2? years left? I am banking on it being 2.

Cannot believe this discussion is taking place.

So extra 20ppg for 1-2 years vs destruction of the AFL for the next 7.

And I don't even think it will be 20ppg like this year, like ele said Selwood killed the second half.

He is young too, think difference will be 5ppg in Selwoods favour in 2014 and 10 in 2015.

But I don't really mind, your team.

you reckon this trade is fair?

i reckon the guy getting selwood wins due to his age. but swan should outscore him or at least match him for the next 2-3 seasons.

i traded selwood for jack redden.

fortunately i then traded redden for fyfe.

not every trade has to be even as long as it isnt ridiculous and i think this one is not ridiculous. each to his own, but swan has been #1 or #2 mid in this comp for many years.

selwood hasn't gotten any better he has always been elite, he probably wont get any better, he is already elite, but has NEVER outscored swan in this comp. likely never will.

swans clangers were significantly down last season also, and under bucks you would expect his work rate to be up.....

hard to call - i say selwood wins but only on age and not by a lot.  up to Ringo tho not me :)

always surprises me tho every season even after 6 years everyone keeps saying selwwod will get so much better.... why?

think he is as good as he will ever be myself, not knocking him he is very good but why after 6 seasons do we think he is going to suddenly take another leap forward.?

still great player and for this comp and has many years to go where swan has 2-3 i would say, as long as he conforms to bucks ways, which if he does - HE probably will get better.

Joel Selwood WILL win a brownlow. He ALMOST beat Gary Ablett JNR this season!
His last couple of months were absolutely outstanding and are just a taste of what is to come.

You would reckon the main idea of recruiting guys like Karny and Adams that Swan will play more forward next year to make sure he doesnt run out of steam.

hey i like SOME eagles - i like you don't I

its only the little short ones with no necks that i dont like :)

and yes i hate selwood, if you have to lift your arm in a tackle to draw a high tackle and a free kick then you suck.

but he doesnt duck anymore he got that out of his game last season so i like him 50% more than i did in 2012 :)

he will have to win the brownlow this season because there are a number of younger players who look set to go past him and all the other guns very very quickly....

and i did say the guy getting selwood wins, but not enough to bag the guy giving him up....

and never write off the pig. i am very biased but he has not failed me yet and still finished #2 in the comp last season....

swan will play more fwd, and earn contested possessions there and kick goals. did plenty of that last season. not sure how it will effect his score but good point noz.

i never put my head in the sand, if i'm wrong i'm the first to say so, but my money on swan again for 2014 out of the two  ;)

You would reckon the main idea of recruiting guys like Karny and Adams that Swan will play more forward next year to make sure he doesnt run out of steam.

You literally posted an article that they have since released an updated version as swan went back on his word and will play a few more years so it was completely irrelevant.

The main idea of recruiting Adams and Karny was to get the best players possible for as little as possible.

Swan will play mid and be rested as a forward like usual. I have spoken to him after that old article and it seemed like he would rather retire than play the game as an average footballer so I'm not sure he will ever be keen to play as a forward in the same way we expect gazza to eventually.

I think selwood wins in this trade but as colli said, that's mostly due to age and I don't believe the trade is so unrealistically lop sided that it needs to be vetoed.

Sorry for typing error I'm on my phone

Lets just look at Joel Selwood's scores since round 15.

191, 167, 158, 171, 136, 178, 165, 154, 132.

Thats 9 games running @ 162 ppg. Roughly what Ablett averaged this season.

Food for thought.

In saying that... Seeing as the opinions are so divided, if both teams are happy, the trade should probably go through IMO.

Did not expect the discussion that this trade invoked but that is the advantage of an open forum.

The trade is being approved as the independent trades committee have all approved it. For those who are unsure who the trades committee is it is Ziplock, Mr, Craig and My Chumps none of whom are involved as coach or co coach in British.

As a general rule I've always seen it as pretty dog to advertise players when a deal is on the verge of going through. Thats just me though, guess others think differently..

Bunnies give: Luke Dahlhaus

Similar players. We were looking for some more depth in the forwards and despite thinking that Cunnington will be a very good player, we feel he can be covered in the mids.

Confirm. Exact opposite for us. Need the extra mid and feel we have Dahlhaus covered with DPP players.

Ok after looking at the trades we are happy to stick with the ones we've done so far in lieu of possibly moving back the Sportal Scoring System if the other coaches involved are ok with them.

We also have our last trade (well the last of our list movements) to announce.

Steins gives: Hartlett+M Brown (Eagles)+Crisp

Birmingham gives: Lester+Michie+Perris

Seems a little one sided at the moment as Hartlett is a gun but we believe Lester will break out this season and Michie will cement a spot in the Demons side this year and having those two mids will help us more than having Hamstring Hartlett.

Also Perris was arguably the steal of the AFL draft and will be a jet in future seasons.

Sorry guys but I am sticking to my rulings on this one.

We listed additional movements based on a new scoring scheme so as we are reverting back to the original status quo do not see the need for extra movements.  That is one of the reasons for all trades top be cancelled.

If coaches used all their movements as they were warned early then they now have to live by the decision to use all their 10 trades.

My decision is now based on the fact that there will now be no change to our competition so the rules that applied should now continue and that solely is my reason for the rulings.

@Kilbluff if you and memph wish to continue this trade please advise here.

Simply stated there was a bit of confusion.

I can't be helped in any way, shape or form because I've used all my permitted movements as I didn't foresee losing so many numbers in defense and gaining as many mids .

Please read Carefully and then discuss.

As it is evident with the current vote that we wish to use the Sportal Scoring system (not quite a mjority at this stage with only 10 coaches voted so far) I have mad the following rulings after looking at the approved trades so far.

1. All trades that have been approved as a result of previous announcements have now been cancelled and will have to be renegotiated:  Trades 61 - 66 have been marked cancelled in the thread,

2. As we are reverting to our Original scoring system No additional trade movements will now be allowed.  Consider this reasonable given that we are now using the same system so all previous trades were made on that basis.

3. Trading will be extended to Wednesday 5th March to allow renegotiation time.

4. Reinforcing that players picked in Rookie and national Draft will count as a trade movement

For information here are the trade movements that are now current:

List Movements
Birmingham Bombers 10
Blackpool Bunnies 5
Bradford Badgers 8
Crosby Cruisers 9
Grope Lane Giants 0
Hastings Hurricanes 7
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs 4
Huddersfield Hawks 9
Leeds Leeches 3
Liverpool Rams 12
Manchester Magic 5
Newcastle Falcons 10
Nottingham Hoods 6
Oxford Owls 10
Staines Steins 6
Swansea Breakers 8
Swindon Swaggers 6
Winchester Werewolves 7

So Bombers, Rams, Falcons and Owls have utilised all movements and can make no more tardes unless on trading players traded in.

May seem unfair but as we are reverting back to our original rules this should be the rules as well.

Could you all check your team lists in the OP of this thread as these are the lists  I have after cancellation of trades:

http://forum.fanfooty.com.au/index.php/topic,87321.0.html

The vote was put out, if people vote Option B, we'll be back using Sportal.

What's the ruling then on the new coaches?

Were we allowed any extra movements? Or not? Did we have any extra because of where we finished on the ladder? Or not?

I'm finding it hard to work out this information.

Can you instead list how many list movements clubs have left rather than saying how many they have used. As it's different for a lot of teams due to where the finished on the ladder?

I count that we have one extra movement we can use with anyone? So that's 4 trades with anyone who has list movements left and 1 with anyone we like? Is that correct?

Also FYI if the scoring system is back to the old one then the trade of Seedsman for Shiel and Paine for Sam Reid should be counted as they were two I did for the Cruisers BEFORE the other trade period closed.

You've got 4 left at the Staines.

If I remember correctly, Ringo granted the new coaches three extra movements. Could be wrong though.

OK will clarify.

We granted new coaches an additional 3 movements due to the circumstances,  New coaches may use these three movements to trade with coaches who have no movements left but they must specify at time of trade that this trade is a compensating trade for new coaches.

So according to my records these are the number of movements left per team:

Birmingham Dragons 0
Blackpool Bunnies 5
Bradford Badgers 2
Crosby Cruisers 1
Grope Lane Giants 11
Hastings Hurricanes 3
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs 6
Huddersfield Hawks 1
Leeds Leeches 7
Liverpool Rams 0
Manchester Magic 5
Newcastle Falcons 0
Nottingham Hoods 7
Oxford Owls 0
Staines Steins 7
Swansea Breakers 2
Swindon Swaggers 4
Winchester Werewolves 6
Sorry for all the confusion but I trust you will bear with me as we get the comp back on track after the confusion with Sporting Systems.
Still have 6 coaches to vote for scoring system so plaease do ASAP.

As always any questions please PM me.

New coaches may use these three movements to trade with coaches who have no movements left but they must specify at time of trade that this trade is a compensating trade for new coaches.

So, if Memph and JB are happy, my trades should stand as:

My trade with JB is on-trading Simpkin

And the other two trades I did with Memph can be combined into one as Johannisen and Mohr for Hrovar and Spencer.

Ok so we're going back to the deal with Birmingham Bomberdragons ;P

We are using up 2 of the extra/new coach list movements to do this one. As Hartlett was originally a Dragon trade to us and we're on-trading him then I believe he doesn't count as a list movement in this one.

Steins give: Hartlett+ M Brown (Eagles)+Crisp

Brimingham: Perris+Lester+Michie.

KB to confirm

Confirmed we have enough young developing mids to lose these 3 i think they are long term where as Hartlett will be in his prime in a year or two  which is when i feel our premiership window begins

If the Hartlett trade goes through i get a movement back i think

so i'm putting Burgoyne on the table again who is an on trade so i can also trade a depth player to, every depth player for sale even Dom Sheed i'd be after a good young forward or defender mostly  but will consider anything so Burgoyne + Someone for a gun is what i want

Not as ideal as the other deal but we wanted to save a list movement and we still think this trade is worth it given how many seasons Hunter has left compared with O'Keefe.

Steins give: Ryan O'Keefe
Huddersfield gives: Lachie Hunter

Hunter has like 10 years ahead of him and has shown to be a good scorer at whatever level he has played at so far. TAC Cup, VFL last year and the first NAB Challenge match.

It's not unreasonable to think he can continue this at AFL level when his body is ready. Also it looks likely he'll stay a fwd/mid for a while which is very handy.

While, ROK in our opinion only has the one season left. Though JBs will probably be hoping he plays on for another one after that.

As far as we're concerned this is a great deal for us as there is no way we were challenging this season.

Doesn't have to be the best scorer but someone who will play games this season.

From the rules thread:

5.7 There will be two trade periods per season, one before the drafts, and one after. Teams are entitled to 10 Player movements over the 2 trade periods. Teams finishing 17th and 18th are allowed an additional 2 player movements and reams finishing 13 - 16 are entitled to one additional player movement. These additional player movements must be nominated and will not count as player movements for the franchise being traded with.

@kilbluff too quick for me as I had not checked back to original lists but can confirm you now have 1 movement back as Hartlett on your original list.

Alright we're entering the last few days of trading and we still have 4 movements to use (with clubs who have movements left themselves).

Who wants to trade?

Anyone but Jack could be available for the right price.

Probably could have got something better than Dempsey for Sheed from us KB.

Really annoys me when teams suggest a possible trade then say no we've got another offer and don't give the original team a chance to match/beat the other offer.

Seems like common sense that you should try get the best deal possible for your player.

To be honest we think Yeo will be on a similar level as JJ. But, the fact that he is a bit further ahead in his development and a likely best 22 player this season whereas JJ's spot is still uncertain (at least till Bob Murphy retires) swayed us.

I think it's a pretty fair trade. Georgiou and Herbert are both unknown quantities at the moment - Nails happened to like Herbert and we happened to like G.

tbh thought we were combining DT/SC when I put that trade through 5 minutes ago as that was the last communication I had received on what scoring system we would use  ::)

I'd put Johan in the same type of player as Murphy and Murphy scores fine. Johan does get contested possies too

Was also putting out some pretty good numbers towards the end. Johan averaged 73 something with his injury sub game included. He's a gun to be.

And Herbert gun too.

@ Memph - I'd say JJ is ahead of Yeo tbh. JJ was a lock in his best 22 playing like all games possible until season ender. He's a gun

We'll see mate :P Yeo seems to be a certain starter for West Coast. Never been the greatest scorer in his career so far though which is the main issue.

I'd have made the trade whether it was the case or wasn't. Johan 6ppg average better and including his showerty sub injury game. I also rate Johan as you'll notice I have him in another FF XVs team and pretty sure I have him in AXVIIIs too and also attempted to acquire him in the other XVs comps

It's the first and only trade I've made in BXVs and purely for the fact Johannisen was involved.

Yeo only averages 1.4 contested possies per game more than Yeo (3.8 vs. 5.2) which isn't enough to write off the fact JJ gets more of the pill and more point racking up statistics.

Also it'd be less of a lead if you took out JJ's injury game.

JJ is the best player in the AFL.

Just be careful guys do not get into attacking a person just because they can not accommodate trades you desire.  This thraed has been reasonable for a while but has gone a little down hill in the last hour or so.

Know trading end getting near but you need to respect decisions of coaches regarding trades.

Ringo I feel you struggle to feel what is personal attacks and what isn't. Its not often in British we get personal and in this instance we werent even close.

Just think some of the comments directed at LF may be a little uncalled for that is all.

I wouldn't think so. But if so then maybe we can't have banter.

Apologise may be an over reaction but can understand the reaction from LF in that she listed who was not for trade and then said she wanted a playing forward possibly for Roberton. And then we had the banter about spuds for premiums so I accept then it was in jest but thought it was directed LF because she would not trade a premium.
