These team names are crazy. So I am going to contribute to the craziness. Utah has the Jazz. I'm going to pay homage to Sweden's influential bands like Opeth, Amon Amarth, In Flames, Dark Tranquility etc and name my team The Swedish Metal.

I think you'll find that Iceland has no Polar Bears.

Iceland and Greenland are named the wrong way around. Iceland is covered in grass, Greenland is covered in ice.

I was wondering when somebody would pick that up ;). I wanted the Greenland Reindeers but instead they went to France (SC version) :P. I really want to go to Iceland as it's very nice and not covered in Ice ;). But who can deny those adorable bears :P. I'll bring Polar Bears over and teach them to live on grass :P.

I havent made it, I could say to make things more interesting people should look up players they want and giving a list would make it too easy.

The real reason im too lazy to do it (at least right now i am)

hey holz, clarification on trading next season-

since the trading period is before the draft, and we're delisting players post draft, does that mean that trades don't have to be 'equal'

for instance, does that mean that I could trade like lets say Connors ( :P ) and my first round pick for just Pendlebury? :P

(cause that would be an equal trade and all :P )

it just means that I would have to delist 1 less player at the end of the season?

Interesting enough. The bison picture and the word bisons is copied from a US logo. All I did was change the colors add the flag and add the word Belarus.

quick question on the rookie listed players-  is there a maximum amount of time someone can be rookie listed for? like in the AFL after 2 years you have to be delisted/ upgraded

kind of leads into my second point- do players stay on the rookie list automatically (i.e at season end will we need to use a pick to upgrade them permanently to the senior list?)

Im not going to have it strict like the afl with having to use rookie picks to elevate people and a max of 2 years. You can change your 5 each year and you can have a guy on there as long as you want.

The only rule that will follow the afl will be how you can play rookie listed players during the season.

Probably a silly question, but is there a thread anywhere that lists the current squads? This thread, plus a few of the team threads have squads that are out of date.

Also, is it excessive to suggest that it could be a requirement for a team's current squad to be updated on the front page of the team's thread? I know different coaches have different levels of time commitment available, but it would make life easier...

Did I make any trades without you? I feel I would have discussed any trades with you first...  :-\

I think we discussed (e.g. the Mundy trade) but I wasn't paying much attention :P I also have no idea who we put on the rookie list because I left that entirely up to you...

Liam Shiels FOR Joel Selwood --> . Selwood + B. Harvey + J. Brown FOR H. Bennell + A. Rance + C. Judd + H. Grundy

Still think that was a good trade in the end :P. Also just noticed anotehr trade more recently that may have surpassed that.... Dempsey + Wells + M. Talia FOR Chapman + Ashby + Rookie 15 + Nat 50

I'll get to some updating for Iceland page when I get the time! Want to try and help get Euro's lifted to a new level with you guys!

I still don't know whether Danyle Pearce is a defender or not. I got plenty of mistakes and have no clue
