i kept taking rookies not realising where they played and than found out they were all forwards. I guess thats what happens when you take the best available player.  Its all good i will be takign backs form now on also i guess i could trade some of my forwards for backs next year. and hansen could be a back instead of a forward

After just losing out this week looks like im getting the spoon and so will need to pull some trades off in the off season, mainly for forwards after i lost all mine in the trade with Macca.

I have alot of young midfield talent and all is up for sale for the right price.

D.Thomas, D.Mundy, M.Barlow, C.Ward, J.Caddy, J.Omeara, L.Whitfield

Ward is the big one on offer 107 average and im willing to let him go if it helps my structure.

considering i have the hardest run home, I don't like my chances of avoiding the spoon. But at least the future looks bright. I have already had offers for my number 1 pick thats showing how much confidence people have in  my getting the spoon. Whitfield is already on the trading block by the way :)

Too much youth need some forwards.

Would you be interested in Jason Porplyzia? Has averaged 91.8 in the 5 games since he had a bye and still can't get in to my starting 15... ;)

Yeah I know not for Whitfield. Well I can't be bothered starting discussions till the season has finished and I know the draft order, but Porps will probably be available even though he is my favourite player

As it stands (With PNL on 3 wins, I think they'll get a 4th, but lets say they don't)

Dublin will have picks #1, #19 and #21. If PNL Wins 1 more, they'll have picks #1, #19 and #20

So why does Dublin get pick 21? Is that similar to the thing in the AFL where if you win less than 4 matches or something you get a compo pick?

Yup. Less than 4 matches priority pick after first round, 2 years in a row and before first round. I know the AFL removed it for fear of tanking, but that shouldn't apply here.

The Cavalry has Arrived with The Destroyers announcing a number of Signing in this are 6 stars who will help us lift of the bottom. In Mitch Clark, Michael Hurley, Jack Redden, Todd Goldstein, Travis Boak and Alex Rance.

Coach Holz has come out boldly declaring Mitch Clark a top 10 forward next year with "Clark hit a real purple patch before going down in injured if he can come close to emulating that over the 2013 season he will be absolute force, and an easy top 10 forward". Michael Hurley will help him in this role playing as the number 2 forward, however he may switch down back at some stage to help the defence. Hurley has big wraps but its obvious he is lacking experience.

Goldy has quickly became a cult hero at the club with him being talked about as the best young ruck in the comp after nin nat. Goldy started 2012 poorly and he got dropped to the reserves but his rest of the year was exceptional. He slowed down in the last 2 games and his fitness wil be worked on in the offseason.

Injuries have held boak back but if he can get a full pre season he might be ready to explode next year.  There is competiton amongst the dublin midfield to take out the captaincy, some pundits are claiming boak as a possible dark horse.

Alex tance is the last of the superstar signings the club feels while he is unlikely to ever be the best back in the comp he will be very solid down back and we expect good permanences from him everything. Sometimes you just need a rock down back who does nothing special but does his role week in week out, Coach Holz couldnt think of anyone else who better emulated this.

It is a shame that a number of good players have left the club with Scott Thompson, Nathan Grima, Callan Ward and Shane Mumford the big causalities. Dublin is sad to see them go but are very happy with the direction the club is moving in.

The paperwork has been drawn up and we are just waiting on finalisation of the deal but its looking like Brisbane young guns Sam Docherty and  Josh Green have joined the club. Sam Docherty has been struggling with injuries but the destroyers hope if he can survive the pre-season than he will be pushing for a spot in the back 4 come round 1. Josh Green has been spotted training with the forward group amongst speculation the midfielder may bolster the destroyers forward line in the wake of tomlinson being on traded.

In a shock long term prospect Billy Longer has nominated to leave the club after rumours of him being unhappy with management with the addition of Goldy and the emergence of Zach Clarke he has been pused back to ruck 3. He feels he is a number 1 ruck and has decided to look elsewhere. In other news fringe midfielder Lachy Neale has been on traded.

Perhaps the biggest news of the week is pick 5 in the national draft has been strongly linked to dublin, with coach holz having his eye on 2 gun forwards in the draft.

Dublin has taken a big punt on injured star Robbie Gray. Gray was one of the best forwards in the comp last year and after a injury interrupted pre season he came back for 2 games in 2011 only to be struck done by a freak accident. Pick 5 has been lost in the process but if gray can get his body right he could perhaps becomes Dublin's most valuable player. Young gun kieran Harper has alos joined the squad and he could be a possible future star with talks of him being the new Brent Harvey. Finge player Tommy Walsh has been told he is no longer required and has sought a new club.

Dublins forward stocks may have already been one of the strongest in the comp with Dale Thomas, Robbie Gray Mitchell Clark, Jack Watts, Micahel Hurley, Zach Clarke up front and with a raft of young guns.

Coach Holz just couldnt pass up what Dublin rates as a top 3 talent in the draft in Jesse Hogan. He will play in the Dublin Reserves this year and we have confidence he will turn into a star of the comp down the track.

rumours are circling that Dublin may be in the process of securing a star of the competition. Dublin has a wealth of forwards and backs and are elledgy offering for trade two of their best backs/forwards in the search of a captain to lead the club.

Coach Holz has felt that young Jack Redden is not ready yet to take over leadership of the club.

The Destroyers were one of the most active team in the comp in the first trade period after the horrid 2012 season. Team management always felt that the list had alot of quality and it was used to bring in what the destroyers are claiming to be a top 8 side for 2013.

There was just one piece missing and that has finally been secured. It has just come to light thatthere was tension between  Dale "Daisy" Thomas and Coach Holz throught the 2012 season and he has been on the trading block for some time and has been traded. Troy Chaplin despite one of the few good news stories of the 2012 season has also been relased in order to secure the new Coach of the Destroyers.

After weeks of speculation it can be revealed that Joel Selwood will be taking the mantle of Captain with young gun Jack Redden offically the vice captain of the club. Selwood one of the stars of the Cobras last year has welcomend the move to the destroyers with the hope that he will be a premeirship captain in the coming years.

He joins Redden Mundy Boak Omeara in what could become one of the strongest midfields in the comp.

In other news promising midfielder Lachie Hunter has joined Dublin as part of the Selwood trade.

with Dublin on track to rack up alot of wins this year we have been in need of a club song and we have gone with the Rocky Road to Dublin.

the team have had some trouble following along with the words, but as we will be hearing it alot this year they will get used to it.

1- shocking trade got absolutely destroyed
5- 50/50 trade
10 - gave up nothing and got stars.

Trade 1
Dublin Gives: Shane Mumford, Callan Ward, Nick Malceski
Cairo Gives: Todd Goldstein, Jack Redden, Adam Tomlinson

mumford to goldy was the big move and one of the main reasons i have moved up the ladder. IM very happy with thisa trade as i feel goldy is top 3 rucks in terms of value easy. Redden isnt doing as good as expected but is still beating ward so good move there. Eski out really really hurts in the short term but i think the win on the other 2 trtades makes up for it.

7/10

Trade 2
Beijing Gives: Pick 30 and Mitch Clark
Dublin Gives: Pick 19 and Josh Caddy

Caddy has done nothing but Clark has been injured. Too early to see but I didnt lose much and Clark could come good.

6.5/10

Trade 3
Dublin gives: Picks 20, 30, 38
Dublin receives: Michael Hurley

only pick 20 is the real loss here and I would have picked tom lee, so i call this a short term win and a potential long term big win if Hurley can live up to his potential.

6/10

Trade 4
Toronto gives: Pick 68, Nathan van Berlo and Josh Bootma
Dublin gives: Nathan Grima

Grima has really struggled this year and NVB and Bootsma have been worse but NVB has provided depth and bootsma has potential. Not a big loss here but no gain as of yet.

5/10

Trade 5
Dublin gives: Picks 1, 56 and 74, Scott D. Thompson and Adam Schneider
Dublin receives: Travis Boak, Brandon Ellis and Alex Rance

I did win this trade, however if i moved someone instead of thompson I could have done much much better. IM very happy with boak as a 105 average player exactly what I need. Rance has been solid but he has gone done hill, his 80+ average is more than servicable. Ellis is the pick of the bunch and a huge win on schnieder, I did go to on trade ellis for jese hogan so its still unknown how this trade turns out.

7.5/10

Trade 6
Berlin gives: Josh Green
Dublin gives: Pick 68, Rookie Pick 37, Lachie Neale

Green disappointing but neala has only played 2 games. Nothing trade

5/10

Trade 7
Pacific gives: Pick 5 and Sam Docherty
Dublin gives: Billy Longer and Adam Tomlinson

longer could come good but isnt ready yet. Docherty can play but voss wont let him. With goldy and Zach Clarke peforming I wouldnt have needed longer anyway so not much lost. Pick 5 was used to get gray, who at least makes my team.

7/10

Trade 8
Dublin gives: Michael Barlow
Dublin receives: Jack Watts + Jese Stringer

horrible horrible trade. Barlow has been on of the best in the comp and watts is going 20+ below what I would have expected from him. Stringer has played one game, is young so could be an option down the track but this move is looking really really bad.  Should have traded away the older mundy.

1/10

Trade 9
Moscow gives: Pick 10
Dublin gives: Brandon Ellis

All depends on jesse hogan. I have needed backs this year and ellis had average 119 in his last 5 games. Would have put me a likely finalist if he can keep this form up. If he loses DPP could end up alight long term and hogan did look very good in the preseason. ICould he repeat what omeara did?

3/10

Trade 10
Toronto gives: Robbie Gray and Kieran Harper
Dublin gives: Pick 5 and Tommy Walsh

Harper has been dropped from the side so that smokey failed. Gray has been alright when playing a full game but 2 vests have really hurt his average. I will consider this a loss as I didnt expect martin to slip to 5 and he is a gun, who could potentially replicate what omeara did.

3/10

Trade 11
Dublin give: Israel Folau
Moscow give: Pick 30

Probably the best trade in worlds history. Folau goes on to retire less than 24 hours after this and essentially turn a very late rookie pick into a top 30 nat pick. Anderson who I got showed alot of promise early and at only 19 years old could turn out to be a solid player.

10/10

Trade 12
Moscow Trades: Pick 24
Dublin Trades: Preseason Draft Pick 1

plowman while scoring very poorly has been required to play quite a few games for dublin. As a top 3 pick the potential is always there and im happy to have him in the squad.

6/10

Bad news for the Destroyers is gun midfielder Travis Boak is out for 2 weeks but in good news we will have a debutant this week in Lachie Hunter

McCartney: We're going to have a first gamer against the Tigers, young Lachlan Hunter will get his chance at AFL level.

McCartney: Lachlan will be the fourth of our 2012 draft crop to play. He'll eventually play midfield, but he's suited forward for now.

Tim Watson:

"Jaeger O'Meara could quite well go down in history as the greatest midfielder that's ever played the game," Tim Watson said on Melbourne radio station SEN on Monday morning.

"He is unbelievable. You've got to keep reminding yourself that here is a kid in his first season of AFL football at 18 years of age. He has it all.

"I'll stand corrected if that doesnt happen"

Huge news as Mini Draft pick Jesse Hogan, young gun Sam Docherty and the 2013 Rising Star winner Jaeger Omeara have been shipped off as Dublin aim to go from the 2012 flag to the 2014 premiership winners.

Super Star of the Comp Nat Fyfe has joined the ranks and been given shared vice captain duties with Todd Goldstein, along with two young forward to bolster dublins forward line in Michael Walters and Jack Darling

Dublin have continued their active pursuit of chasing the flag next year with anoter star being added to the stable. Break out players Aaron Black and Shuan Atley have left the club after resonable years at the club. Aaron Black broke out this year to become a lock in the clubs best 15 after breaking into the team earlier in the year. The club has alos lost their first round pick but Coach Holz feels it is all worth it, adding star defender Grant Birchall to the club, joining new signing Lyndeen Dunn, star backman Alex Rance and Lachy Hansen who has recentely made a move from the forward line to defense.

Tom Lee has alos been moved in the deal and will hopefully provide some cover up front after showing promise in the second half of the year.

Dublin have announced 3 massive trades as they continue on with their plan of building for a top 4 finish. Backup developing ruck Zach Clarke requested a trade early on in the process and Dublin have been looking for a team to send him to ever since. Zach was unhappy being stuck behind Goldy and has moved to Moscow in the hopes of creating a ruck combo with Nic Nat. He has been moved on with Sam Docherty in excahgne for a more campigned defender in bob muprhy, along with Charlie dixon who we hope can help boster the forward line and provide back up ruck support for goldy.

Young gun Jed Anderson has been moved on for again another ready made player in Shuan Grigg.

However the biggest trade has seen recentely acquired Jack Darling along with 3 of our star reserves players in Jed Lamb, Lachie Plowman and Brad Hill in exchange for star midfielder Jobe Watson who has just joined the leadership group of Dublin. The coach of the Belfast Braves has been disapointed with the news however the Braves should be sporting Grigg, Hurley, M.Clark and Ryan Schoenemakers next year so should perform alright.

Coach Holz was happy with all the moves in particualr picking up Watson.

"its great to suplement our midfield with the injection of Jobe Watson into the squad" Holz 27/09/13

dublin continue their big name trading with the loss of star midfielder, with the move towards a flag coach Holz has felt that there was a need for a X facotr and have brought in tom rockliff to fill this role. Dublin have fealt that Rocky talent has been used incorectly and have offered him a full time midfiled role to unleash his full potential.

Injury prone Michael Hurley has been moved along with former number 3 pick Sam Day in the deal. Both players will hurt the depth of the squad but they have requested a trade with the ambition of gaining more senior games, after being told that would likely be playing for Belfast a majority of the year.

Luke delaney has been reunited with brother Cameron in defence with the move and we feel both should be handy players in the Braves.

Coach Holz is extremely postive about the future of the club with the midfeld particulary promosing. Todd Goldstein tapping down to Jobe Watson, Joel Selwood, Nat Fyfe, Tom Rockliff, David Mundy and Travis Boak should strike fear in the rest of the competiton for years to come.

im pretty confident he will be a mid only, so will be playing as my M2. If on the very low chance somehow VS is silly enough to keep his DPP than he will be likely be rotating between the middle and forward line.

i didnt watch the games i just go off FF

i thought it was only about 405 games in the middle of the season.

rounds 1-7                  111 average (im pretty sure almost all mid)
rounds 8,9, 12-14        75 avergae (up front)
rounds 15 - 23            128 average (100% mid)

16/21 games in the mid  that 76% of the time i think he will be mid only.

add to the fact VS bend the rules anyway and will avoid having a 110+ DPP player if there is a vliad reason and as above i think htere is one.

I would love DPP but it would be a massive shock to me.

Dublin has brokered a huge deal. Nathan Fyfe who has just started his first preseason has been informed that he will likely be moving to Berlin in a deal along with injury plagued Mitch Clark, who was told he was no longer a requred player and second year player Lachie Hunter.

If the deal is passed, star forward Lance Franklin will spearhead the Destroyers forward line while Nick Dal Santo replacing Fyfe in the Midfield and young backman Tom Mcdonald  to fill the role of bob murphy in the coming years. The deal is dependent on the 9 year contract  Buddy has asked for and the trade is currently being reviewd by the World's Board.

Lol yeah right, that's what you reckon they will average.

already posted my reasons why i dont think buddy will do as well.

1. not as high a scoring team so less share of goals to go around.
2. smaller ground so doesnt give him the space to move around, he isnt the best mark in the comp so doesnt play to his strengths.
3. tippett will demmand the ball more than roughead and tipett is the better mark of the two.
4. sydney midfield is very strong and better than the hawks so less need to rotate through the mid.
5. Sydney have alot of high SC socring players and with the 3300 being split up I dont see as much as the pie going to him.
6. Hawks are better than Sydney and the more and bigger you win typically the more points you get.

Fyfe averaged 108 as a 19 year old, has been carrying a few nigles and fully fit i think he would be a 110-112 player by now. He gets lots of clangers which he will learn to fix and if he can reduce that by one a game there is your 115+ average.

probably should stop bad mouthing my player, but im happy to be proven wrong.

An early test for Holz's depth?

not really worried lachy Hansen deserves a starting spot anyway, 90 average uninjured in the last 10 or so rounds. Schoenmakers is looking super fit and I expect Delaney or bruce to be playing for the saints.

Kieran Harper going into surgery is the real blow, im convinced he will be a good player and really want him in the roos squad. If marksworth could get some games together it would really help.

Even after a fantastic season where he has turned into one of the best forwards in the comp Robbie Gray has been notified by Coach Holz that he will be offered on the trade table as soon as the season ends. However Dublin wont be releasing him cheap with the forward rated number 2 in the comp only behind aging super star brent harvey. Sources say that Dublin is chasing a premium midfilelder and/or a back up ruck for Todd Goldstein with Charlie Dixon likely looking to play soley up forward next year.

I think he has played enough midfield time to keep his dpp, he does play in the forward pocket or half forward flank every game but he rotates enough in the mid to stop him being a forward only.

In what would be a huge in for the club,

recruit Michael Walters could be coming in as early as next round in a push to make the finals squad for Dublin.

"He's progressing really well,"

"He's running. He's punching out 30km a week. We're just conditioning him.

"The risk from here is a soft tissue (injury). So he's in full speed training. He's not in football (training) yet so it's conditioning against soft tissue risk.

"We're all excited. We thought he was done for the year. But the way it's tracking he might get four or five games into him this season.

on to better discussion.

Jarrad Redden has been stolen in the draft going late in the 4th round. Redden has shown a lot of promise but has been hampered by injuries. At only 23 years of age and coming of the surgery well coach Holz felt he was way too good to pass up. He joins a strong Dublin ruck brigade lead by the one and only Todd Goldstein and backups Currie and Daw and project player Holmes.

have had a very very active trade period as usual.

Coach Holz after the disappointment of 2015 being clearly the best team all year but falling apart in the final game of the year has decided that we needed to extend our premiership winning period.

David Mundy, Tom McDonald, Andrew Boston Travis Boak + Jobe Watson + Josh Bruce + Jason Holmes  Scott Thompson, Robert Murphy, Nathan van Berlo, Josh Walker, Michael Walters, Pick 74 + Pick 79  Matthew Scharenberg + Cian Hanley

Lewis Jetta,  Heath Grundy, Marc Murphy, Jack Riewoldt,  Adam Treloar, Chris Yarran, Bailey Dale, Jacob Weitering, Marc Pittonet Matt Kennedy, Jim Parsons, Colin O'Riordan, Rueben Williams

In the midfield the second last original dubliner starter in Mundy was traded after a fantastic season where he returned to one of the games best. Solid Boak was also lost along with now banned Jobe Watson  along with Scott Thompson who has a fantastic year but had to make way for coach Holz youth push.  Murphy came in as a replacement for Boak with young star Treloar the star signing after two years of chasing his signature. Lewis jetta was picked up to provide cover on the bench with the hope of playing him off the HFF or HBF in years to come. The other star acquisition came from acquiring pick 5 which was used on the highly rated Matt Kennedy.

In the rucks Jason Holmes was lost and Marc Pittonet was gained in a small loss, but when you have Goldy at the helm you can afford that.

In the forward line the talented but injury prone walters was lost with up and comer Bruce and bench player walker. The coach identified he wanted some safety and added Jroo to be a key placeholder to provide fantastic cover on the bench and in the midlifeld.

The backline lost its two best players of last year with old man murphy unfortunately having to be sacrificed to go with the coaches youth policy. Tom Mcdonald after his break out year was also sacrificed but the talented Chris Yarran should make up some of the ground. Heath Grundy was added for some solid scoring. After the devastating news the Shaz had once again did his ACL, he was traded with also injury prone Cian Hanley for the player Dublin was 50/50 on picking up with pick 5 in Jacob weitering.

Still gotta be the premiership favourites. But I can't help but wonder if this year's top 8 has caught up a baby step or two?

Maybe we'll see others join London as a H&A Dublin vanquisher?

or Dublin finally gets rid of London.

scary thing is I really should keep improving with now my whole starting 15 under 30 years old. 2017 i should be even stronger then 206.

Probably be in the clink by 2019, Gray was compared to Ablett... and 25 possie 6 goal games are going to become more regular as he plays closer to goal as his career progresses.

Backline Stocktake

Alex Rance: Treated carefully through the JLT Community Series games, Rance has got the game time he needed and then been rested. One of the best defenders in the game, his mix of one-on-one strength and intercepting ability will again be a key to the Destroyers' premiership hopes.

Steven May: May may become the heartbeat of the Dublin backline. May has a great mix between aggression and skill and improved as last season wore on. Is at his best when taking the opposition's best forward, and his form may be a barometer for his new teams backline.

Oscar McDonald: With brother Tom to play forward, Oscar is the Holz' first-choice key defender alongside Rance. Has added size to his frame and has made great progress over the pre-season. Suffered back tightness in the Destroyers' last JLT game, but will be right to play in round one.

Grant Birchall: The 30-year-old will have his troublesome right knee operated on for the third time since last August and will be out for at least the first half of the season. It looms as a major concern for the two-time premiership Destroyer, who can provide a cool head to the backline.

Phil Davis: had another faultless pre-season and returned to play the second JLT match. Will anchor the defense for the first time in 2018 with Dublin.

Ed Vickers-Willis: Looked to have cemented a position in Belfast's defence last season before a knee injury in round 11 prematurely ended his season. Likely to slot straight back into the Belfast's' back six from round one after a strong pre-season, in which he played both JLT games. At 190cm, Vickers-Willis gives Belfasts backline flexibility as he can play as a third tall or mind smaller opponents. He might sneak into the senior team if required.

Sam Durdin: The fourth-year tall can play at both ends of the ground, but appears likely to spend most of his time in defence this season. Was quiet as a defender in Belfasts opening JLT game and also struggled to have an impact when moved into attack for the Williamstown practice match. Locked in a battle with Vickers-Willis, Davis and O'Connor to be the first man up for Dublin in defence if anyone gets injured.

Kieran Collins: It looms as a make-or-break season for the third-year key defender after he was only offered a one-year deal late last year from coach Holz.  Has worked hard on his agility and pace off the mark. Didn't play in the intra-club match and wasn't selected in the JLT series.

Colin O'Riordan: The Irishman has a solid pre-season but didn't have a great JLT Community Series and will start the season in the 2s. Senior footy possibly awaits if he can find some form.

Harrison Macreadie: Courageous tall defender who played eight games for Belfast in his debut season in 2017. Reads the game well as he showed with his intercept marking and shows plenty of courage, but needs to improve his decision-making and be more composed.

Ryan Gardner: Learning under the tutelage of assistant coach Shane Yarran and playing on Tom Hawkins in match simulation has the Tasmanian ready for AFL in his third season. Co-Captain Joel Selwood told AFL.com.au the injury of Grant Birchall might see greater opportunities for Gardner this season.

Daniel Nielson: Broke through to play seven senior games for Belfast in his third season last year, impressing with his appetite for one-on-one contests. Was overlooked for both of Dublins JLT matches, but Jacob Weitering's departure at the end of last season means there is a potential vacancy in the Destroyers defense for a D5. Nielson appears behind Nielson, Vickers-Willis, Davis and O'Connor in the race to fill that role.

Darragh Joyce: The Irish rookie stands at 194cm and generally mans tall forwards but is athletic enough to play on smaller types. Expect 2018 to be another development year for Joyce.

Matthew Hayball:  re-rookied. Overlooked for JLT matches, he will need a string of strong 2s performances to be considered for selection.

HUGE DEVELOPMENT!

Some of you may have realised Holz has been acting a little strange as of late and this might be the reason. Holz has been sued by the Richmond Tigers and a number of other AFL clubs for a copyright infringement. As shown below Holz simply copied and pasted information and passed it off as his own work.

Since we are the best media on the planet, we have been able to hack into Holz's computer and retrieve this document where he planned to finish his stocktake.

Well you can't argue with that!

HUGE DEVELOPMENT!

We can finally put to bed the myth of Todd Goldstein. The idiot is a cheater on and off the field. The photo snapped below was indeed taken whilst Todd still had a wife. No surprises that the male in the situation had it swayed to his favour through sweeping it under the rug. The myth that he has gotten his life back on track is inexcusable.

The unfortunate thing is though; this was actually a direct instruction from Holz! The one and only Dublin coach obviously wanted Toddy all to himself. No doubt Holz instructed Todd to snap this photo knowing exactly what would happen.

HUGE DEVELOPMENT!

Holz's first single falls flat! As we all know, Holz released his/her first album last week. We unfortunately break the news today that the reception to the love song has been very negative.

The lyrics centered around Dublin U2 Brad Crouch reportedly made people question Holz's sanity. As well as Holz's possibly deranged obsession to do naughty things with Brad.

Many of the reviews and comments were negative. Some calling for "Holz to hang em up" and others quite brutal "I spent 40 minutes cleaning the vomit off my keyboard after watching that." Regardless of the reaction the proof is in the pudding with as shown below if you type in "Worst song ever" into youtube Holz's song comes up.

This of course doesn't bode well with Holz secondary announcement of his tour which is actually being "held" right now. We take you live there now.

Dublin havin a tough time recently from opposition coaches/supporters.

I just hope they can pull through; kinda like my hope for the Hawks and their supporters in their quest for the next drought breaking premiership.

Thanks Purp, actually just read all this WXV media stuff and its really funny.

Dublin is just sitting here coasting, letting all these unaccomplished teams like Toronto fight it out for the baby stuff like Minor premierships.

We are quietly building up for finals, sitting on 2 straight wins and about to bring back Dusty Sloane and Hill who have all been taking breaks for a sneaky cap discount.

Found a nice write up from July on the lesser known Dubliners

Ryan Gardner: Has moved forward for 13 goals in six games after Mark Blicavs' form shut the door on his prospects as a key defender. Picking up the nickname 'Plugger' internally, the out-of-contract Tasmanian will need a big VFL finals series to keep his spot on the list.

Kieran Collins: The hulking key defender was sidelined with an ankle injury until recently, and his form in the VFL since has been sound. With only one senior game in three years at the club, the out-of-contract 20-year-old would be feeling nervous.

Dan Nielson: Nielson has played well at times in the VFL, but is stuck behind Robbie Tarrant, Scott Thompson, Majak Daw, Sam Durdin and Ben McKay in the key defender pecking order.

Harrison Macreadie: The 196cm defender played a handful of games in his maiden season at the club, but has seen his development stunted by fitness issues this year. He's currently battling a hamstring problem.

Matthew Hayball: Stuck behind a number of running defenders in his third year at the club and looks up against it to be retained. Delisted and re-rookied last season, the South Australian has played 11 of a possible 12 VFL games this year.

Noah Balta: Second-round draft pick from last year who has developed in the VFL this season, both in defence and up forward. Has impressed with his athletic ability through stints in the ruck but needs to work on his contested marking.

Elliott Himmelberg: An exciting 198cm key forward prospect who continues to develop his game in the SANFL in his second season on the list. The 20-year-old is signed until the end of 2020.

Ray Connellan: The Irish rookie was closing in on a debut late last season but has been a bit further away in 2018. Lightning-quick, but struggles to stay involved in the play.

Toby Pink: The tall forward is out of contract at the end of the year and hasn't played much footy because of a serious ankle injury. Could battle to stay on the list next year.

Nobody broke away with the Best and Fairest this year but will give it to Goldy. Was on fire in the second half of the season when it mattered. only blemish was the first round final game but he went 110+ over the rest.

This is Goldy's 3rd Best and Fariest, just edging out Jelly who was also aiming for his 3rd. Goldy just got him in the end.

Zak Butters

Holz: We are stoked with this pick, honestly we didn't even have him on our draft board as we didn't see any situation where he would be available at pick 26. A high impact player who might not find the ball as much as some of the other draftees but when he gets it, he is elite. The plan is to stick Zak in Belfast but he might get called up at some point if required.

Senior Coach Holz: Given the rise of guns like Roids and MOC we have had to hire a full time coach for Belfast to look after all the depth of Dublin.

We are happy to announce the appointment of Meow as Head Coach of Belfast.

Coach Holz and Trent Dumont are all smiles after pick 4 has been shipped off for Trent Dumont and Tom Clurey from Beunos Aires.

Holz " Dumont will slot is perfectly into that utility role that was lacking for most of the year. We feel this season was just a blip and that the premiership window is well and truly open, adding a player like Trent at the cost of a pick is a silver lining for the poor showing of 2019. Tom Clurey will be handy depth as we re write the wrongs of 2019 and chase that 4th PremIErship."
