Round 11
IMPORTANT NOTE - PLEASE READ
AFL teams will be announcing their teams at 6:20pm AEST on Thursday (Wednesday for Thursday night games)
Sunday teams are confirmed at 5pm AEST on Friday (Saturday for Monday games)
We will NOT be using a partial lockout, please read the rule below.
You are encouraged to name your full team at the start of the round and edit accordingly as teams drop each day. I understand this is not possible for everyone, hence why it would be preferred that people name their full team to begin with.
If you make any edits to your team, please do so in a new 'quote' post.
There is no loopholing allowed in ADT
- We are now back to traditional Friday-Sunday games, therefore you can name four (4) emergencies.
- In the event a coach either submits an incomplete team or fails to submit a team at all without contacting the admin, they will receive a warning/strike and their submission from last week will be used.
Friday night FULL LOCKOUT at 7.50pm AEST

Round 11 - The Kings Dethroned/A Lack of Steele
Springfield Isotopes 1807 v Bermuda Tiger Sharks 1590
Springfield made a statement posting a raw 1800+ score against fellow hopefuls Bermuda to jump them on the ladder and turn their eyes on a top 4 berth. They were assisted in large part by Reilly O'Brien's monster score but naturally the rest of the team backed him up. Bermuda were smashed with an injury to Ward on top of several other poor performances, though they would've had a hard time catching Springfield regardless.
El Paso Pioneers 1479 v Arizona Scorpions 1669
El Paso missed their chance to swoop on Arizona as they suffered a bit of a slump this week, though maybe it's asking too much of the bottom team to topple second place. Both teams had a high ceiling and a low floor, but Arizona's general superior quality and a blue moon score from Tim Kelly got them the win this time.
Hawaiian Surfers 1488 v Dallas Coyotes 1726
It was an interesting move by Dallas to not name English in the squad this week, but evidently it mattered little as Dallas still comfortably nabbed a win off the back of Sinclair's huge score. Hawaii were hit with an injury to McGovern rendering their HGA useless, as well as a howler from captain Zorko to cap off a shocking week as both teams consolidate their positions on either end of the ladder.
Los Angeles Kings 1640 v Calgary Fireflies 1776
LA were left with minimal instructions this week for a big match against the rivals, and it could have cost them a win. 5 emergencies were required and with only 4 available it left them with 17 on field, on top of having to replace 4 other players. Not what you want when a side posts a big total, led by Tom Stewart's round-high score. Perhaps the gap was too much to cover anyway, but you never know... LA drop more points and are now only 1 win in front of Calgary and Springfield as there is now a legitimate scrap for the top 4 spots.
Washington Senators 1707 v Guadalajara Pirates 1541
Another win for Washington! Guadalajara are in freefall, now dropping below Washington on percentage as their season unravels after Steele's injury. Both teams are 1 win behind Bermuda in 6th, and with the way Washington are going, they can give it a real shout! For Guadalajara something needs to change soon or a promising season will be going down the gutter
