SWISS STORM v SPANISH STALLIONS
Storm probably been the most consistent team all year but Spain arguably has a little higher ceiling. I can't make a tip for who will win this one as both teams are capable of dropping a 150+ easy
Like always the midfield will be a key battle ground with the likes of Wines, Keays, Clarry for the Storm and Parker Macrae, Touk for Spain
Def: Whitfield, May, Weitering, Coffield
Mid: Macrae (C), BSmith, Parker, Taranto
Ruck: Lycett
Fwd: Greene, Butters, Stephenson, Rayner
Int: Miller (VC), Parish (EVC)
Emg: RMarshall, Perryman, Rivers, 2MP
DEF: Isaac Cumming, Brodie Smith, Darcy Byrne-Jones, Nick Vlastuin
MID: Ollie Wines (C), Clayton Oliver (VC), Ben Keays (EVC), Andrew Brayshaw
RUC: Jon Ceglar
FWD: Tom Hawkins, Tom Phillips, Zac Bailey, Tom T Lynch
UTIL: Jed Anderson (MID), Jack Graham (MID)
EMG: Ben McEvoy (DEF/RUC), Peter Ladhams (RUC/FWD), Connor Rozee (FWD), Andrew McPherson (DEF)
238 from Macrae is a nice start from Captain but nothing beastly
Lycett 98 Smith 85 played their part but Butters 52 was a big let down.
Wines won the Captain battle with a very nice 256.
DBJ with a disappointing 59 to match Butters.
All round close game
Swiss Storm 152 def Spanish Stallions 146
True to their name the Swiss Stormed home with Keays taking the BOG in the last game of the day to secure the win
Wines just edged out Macrae in the battle of the captains.
The Swiss midfield were all fantastic.
Parish, Whitfield and Butters were the major culprits.
Spain unfortunately the Bridesmaids once again.
Congrats to the Storm.
