Title: Round 11 Trades
Post by: Mat0369 on May 24, 2021, 02:14:47 PM
Considering a double downgrade this week using Kosi/Jordon and Scott. Madden and Weightman are the two I can bring in. If I trade Kosi/Scott the best player I can afford is Sidebottom and I think I'd rather load up on cash for the first bye

I might have to do the same thing, but probably Bergman and Scott out.

Looking at 2 options

1. Scott to Madden and Warner to Macrae.Lyons or Miller
2, Kosi to Madden and Scott to Weightman leaving $432k for upgrades with byes.

I was pretty close to grabbing Lyons last week but held off in the hope that Brayshaw's injury is just a minor one. My only concern is Neale who is back on the track running.

Powell and Scott have done their job - I'll be trading both of them out this week

Several options on the cards, will finalise something later in the week

Over 1.2M in the kitty is just insane lol

Literally losing hundreds of points per week

Spend it already! :)

With 3 trades you should be fine. That is an astronomical amount on the bench though, some of these guys will be losing dough so get it done ASAP

I wouldn't bother paying a premium for Weightman with that much $$$ in the bank. Go 1 up, 1 down.

First option Ringo. Macrae a must!

Agreed. First option for sure and for the same reason. Macrae is a must, considering his output, consistency, and track record.

I really wanted to bring in Macrae to get my last rookie (RCD) off the field. Unfortunately I'm about 10k short to downgrade Rowe to Madden and upgrade McNeil to Macrae.

My other options are:

1) Rowe -> Madden
     McNeil-> Steele

2) Flynn -> Ned Reeves or a fwd/ruck loophole
     McNeil-> MacRae

Thoughts? I'm leaning towards option one, then doing my first "luxury trade" next week to turn Cripps, Daniher, or Tom Green into Macrae.
Pretty torn to be honest, as Flynn will make more cash than Rowe this week, although I guess Flynn has to be named again to make that true.

Trading a week before byes start, I'd say no.  Just my two scents (vanilla and sweat) though.

Should i be trying to upgrade powell or jordan to a prem this week? or just hold out?

I'd probably grab Titch to balance things up a bit.

You have a heap of players with high BEs so you need to work out who you will be carrying through the byes.

Had a feeling there would be carnage for the opening week of the byes. Is 2-3 weeks recovery? Or matches scheduled?

He should return after his bye so probably not too problematic if Reeves gets up

Hmmm, sitting at 45 in the rankings so I have to think about this. Nic Nat very enticing, puts some coin in the bank too. Low BE so it's now or never.

Cheers mate, I reckon at this point in the game I have to throw the kitchen sink at the byes, it's my best chance to make up the 350 point deficit.
