We have last years champions taking on Macedonia who exited last years finals with back to back good games. Should be a high scoring affair and Bashers will be pushed to keep up their winning ways.

Lions had a disappointing year last year but with Titch back they will be competitive again. Russia always seems to place themselves towards the top of the tables and a win here might be needed to do so again this year.

Crushers showed glimpses of a finals team last year and they play the Valks who will be on notice as some of the struggling teams of the last few years start to rise up.

Spain is looking to take over the mantle from Beligum as the best XV team and they might have the fire power to do so. Greece must be counting themselves abit unlucky with not making finals last year despite putting up good numbers.

Fun fact spoon winners Hungary actually outscored 7th place Iceland so the Hulks will be looking to exact some revenge and pick up the win. Iceland has shown they can find a way to win in recent years so should be a good battle.

The Bison came from nowhere last year to make finals, if they can have a better start the year they might be a shock contender. The storm are a contender already so expect fireworks.

We will likely keep up the mid season trade period so you can load up.  You do get to play a midfielder in the ruck so thats nice.

Bashers again showing dominance with a 130 which is the new 150+. The regular names in Yeo Lloyd Pendles Jelly and ROB stood up with the Wolves have an absolute shocker with Tim Kelly the only guy close to 100.

English Lions   (13.   7.   85   )    lost to    Russian Roulettes   (20.   6.   126   )

Another blow out. Titch just hasnt bounced back to his dominant self and Ryder must be filthy seing charlie Dixon struggle in the ruck. Dunkley to sole light for the Lions where as Russia had a good team effort with Jones Wlaters leading the way and the acquisition of Houli appears to be worth it with his score shoring up the defence.

Croatian Crushers   (16.   6.   102   )    def    Vatican Valkyries   (15.   10.   100   )

Close low scoring game here with nobody stepping up on either team with Gaff the best of the bunch. Really it was who was less disappointing and it turns out Captain Cripps was less bad the Captain Kelly. Adams not getting named cost Zip the game at the end of the day, that and HGA.

Spanish Stallions   (18.   8.   116   )    lost to    Greek Titans   (18.   9.   117   )

What a contest, The Stallions fell well short of the Bashers this week and also just short of Greece. Neale might need to take over from Macrae as Macrae being stuck out on the wing cost them the game. Gawn was brilliants for the Titans and the midfeidl fired with Ross Billings  Nigs all very good. Steele has to be putting pressure to crack into the XV.

Iceland Polar Bears   (17.   8.   110   )    lost to    Hungarian Hulks   (18.   10.   118   )

Iceland didn't enbarass themselves with Zerret leading the way and alot of solid peformers. Hungary though showed why they where very unlucky to come last with Goldy being a monster that easily covered the average by his sntadards game from Brouch. Racca turning into a very good pick up and Rowell pumped out a huge game on the bench showing Hungary has a good future in him. Rocky was very good and some of the contenders may regret passing up his services.

Belarus Bison   (16.   11.   107   )    lost to    Swiss Storm   (19.   6.   120   )

Bison are a good squad but at the end of the day they still rely on Grundy Treloar to be great. Grundy was poor by his standards and Treloar is still missing. The Storm on the other hand where the 3rd best team of the weak with no real standouts. Oliver and Phillips did well but it was more a case of everyone pulling their weight.
