Also @Jukes, is there any punishment for those that continually name their teams incorrectly, or do we just pretend it isn't happening?

Bit of both. People are fine to name their teams as they like unless you're doing something really dodgy like loopholing, but they are obviously punished by going down to EMG and then from their list alphabetically.

I’d suggest the administration needs to be stricter and penalties be applied.

It’s kinda showerty that there are some of us who are naming out teams properly, actively making changes to them week after week while others do the bare minimum such as seemingly copying and pasting their team and naming players in the wrong position. Literally the only duty a coach has during the season is naming their team and if you can’t do that properly, I question why they even bother.

Boston Terriers 20.11.131 defeated Colorado Avalanche 16.9.105
(Real: 1964 vs 1578)

The difference between Boston of last week and Boston of this week was gigantic - from 102 to 131! Neale was the main catalyst for the improvement, in addition to no real passengers in the side and a handful of nice scorers. Colorado weren't great but they were improved, as Tom Hickey lead the way with a BOG performance.

Best
Boston: Neale, Pendlebury, Laird, Thomas, Walker, Smith
Colorado: Hickey, Savage, Gray

San Francisco Grizzlies 20.7.127 defeated Chicago Sharks 16.10.106
(Real: 1904 vs 1584

A return to form for the Grizzlies, or just a one off? Either way they were very very good with a rare limit to the number of passengers, while Chicago certainly did have a few - a trio of 30s by the utility bench, one of which was slated as the sub until coming in for a late out. Sicily, Hurn and Yeo tried to turn the tide late for Chicago but it was too late, as Gary Rohan secured the win.

Best
San Francisco: Hunter, Williams, Rohan, Hill, Adams, Shaw, Melksham
Chicago: Sicily, Hurn, Yeo, Oliver, Parker

Carolina Panthers 17.9.111 lost to New Brooklyn Hawks 17.10.112
(Real: 1671 vs 1679)

A real edge of the seat clash between two of the competition's better sides, even though neither scored near their potential/usual. NBH looked to have it won before Cripps had a pretty mediocre score, but they just scraped home - thanks in part to (going all the way back to Thursday) Brody Mihocek only managing 25, while Carolina's defence crumbled yet again after Luke Ryan with scores of 45, 38, and 70. The Hawks defence, on the other hand, starred, with Bachar Houli earning BOG honours with a fine 142.

Best
Carolina: Grundy, Kelly, Rozee
Brooklyn: Houli, Berry, Wilson, Crouch

Wisconsin Cockerels 17.13.115 defeated Anaheim Mighty Ducks 16.11.107
(Real: 1719* vs 1602)

A reasonably close game between another two of the better sides in the competition, with both also scoring below their potential. Whitfield's injury hurt Wisconsin, while usual stars Shuey, Zorko, and Taberner were also well below their best and Curnow's late out as their sub didn't help either. But having two 140+ scores certainly did help. Anaheim also had a case of the passengers as Hodge, Hibberd, Gray, Petrucelle, Murphy, and Colyer failed to crack 55. Boak was his usual best and presses his case for the captaincy, while Mundy was great in his 300th.
*used the team posted w/o Port or North players as I can see how the stretched out week combined with work can mess with some coaches heads, but only as a once-off and next time the previous week's team will be used so as to not be abused. Gawn was also attempted loopholed and so, as a competition against that, I ruled that he was not eligible for VC so used, as per when a VC and EVC miss, the first named midfielder - Touk Miller.

Best
Wisconsin: Ablett, Gawn, O'Meara, Duncan, Daniel
Anaheim: Boak, Mundy, Hawkins, Kennedy, Bellchambers

Las Vegas Sinners 17.10.112 lost to Ottawa Otters 18.10.118
(Real: 1679 vs 1768)

Very good win by the Otters on the road against a pretty good side, missing VC Buddy Franklin but full of plenty of other stars - such as Fyfe this week! Ottawa's midfield starred, with five tons all 110+ and a 91 by a rookie, and the only thing stopping them from a truly big score was the last five players in their XVIII+sub scoring 55, 55, 53, 55, and 47. Taranto was the best of their seven centurions (and a 99 by Hewett), while the usual suspects in Fyfe, Lloyd, and Rockliff lead the way for the Sinners but didn't get enough support.

Best
Las Vegas: Fyfe, Lloyd, De Goey, Rockliff, Hewett
Ottawa: Taranto, Cunnington, Prestia, McEvoy, Fiorini, Treloar, McGovern, Keath

Quito Quetzals 18.10.118 defeated Houston Bombers 14.13.97
(Real: 1774 vs 1450)

Good effort by Quito for a solid score. Houston...not so much...at all. Houston really suffering from a lack of depth - surely their list has better scorers than Sam Taylor, Ryan Clarke and Marc Murphy?

Best
Quito: Ross, Rich, Cameron, Hopper, Mumford, Breust
Houston: Robinson, Ellis, Ziebell
