Title: Comments on the AFL Fantasy Site
Post by: Ringo on March 15, 2019, 08:18:51 AM
Just wondering whether it is just me or is everybody upset at the AFL Fantasy Site this year.

hate the idea you have to flip cards, at this stage unable to move players to correct pricing order like last year.

Not very user friendly at all.

It's terrible, i wouldn't bother with it but i have a lot of leagues i run each year.

It gets worse every year, bunch of amateurs.

Sportsdeck showers all over it

Well if they set out to make every one of the most basic features a fantasy coach wants & turn them into a cumbersome, unnecessary frustration they have done exceedingly well.

They have had months to put players faces on all players as well but they can't be stuffed.

Particularly frustrating for me, if I can't see your face I find it hard to trust ya.  :(
I have issues.  :'(

Hmmm with so many leagues i'm in does anyone know how to view them all?

Doesn't seem to be a scroll bar to scroll down so you can choose one of the others after the initial list is showing or where it show's switch leagues isn't actually active (can't click on it)

I don't need to scroll down because i only have 10 leagues but i do have a bar to scroll down with if i needed to.

Surprised AF don't have a rolling lockout for round 1

Doesn't look like they have history of your team anymore, traders(Warnie) said it might be added later on, can't see it?

I'm assuming a rankings page for overall and leagues will pop up after round 1 ? can't see anything at the moment.

Might be my last year doing AF, whole thing is just rooted.

Yep not user friendly at all. This flipping cards is BS.

Cost me to leave Balta on field.

Just worked out by clicking on Leagues in the drop down you can see the match ups.

Can see my live ranking though up the Top.

Only reason for doing AF to keep all three going.

And agree with FF that should have rolling lock out Rd 1 only like RDT.

I hate rolling lockout for the whole round but for round 1 i think it's a good idea .. Supercoach has it the whole year yeah ?

Yep it's got the live ranking up top but i like to look at the leader boards .. especially for the leagues

Is DT only rolling lockout for round 1, I thought it was for the season like SC.  :-[
I too wouldn't mind seeing AF do it for the whole of the first round.
Never been a fan of having it the whole season, hurts to many coaches
who have to work, playing sport etc. I know it's popular with alot though.

RDT held a poll on twitter and rolling lockout won so they have done it for the season. With Thursday games it's almost a necessity now.

Yeh it was on Twitter that I saw it I reckon, the choice to have it won convincingly didn't it.  :(

It is rolling lock-out for RDT the whole season - saw the announcements and Dunny of Dreamteam Talk & SCC sites confirmed it on Friday in his "Friday Scramble" article ...

Oh well, guess ill have to get with the times, it's a bit annoying as i like to go out and watch the footy and don't want to think about it on the weekend. I don't like to live on the computer looking for late outs and using the loophole all the time. Sorry Grazz i didn't know they had rolling lockout all the time.

I was happy to make the effort for Thursday games, not keen on all the time though. I guess it's not Real Dream Team anymore. They will have 40 trades next year after having a poll  :D   :-X

Ok, 3 rounds in and maybe im missing something, but both the app on android and the website are horrendous.

Teams that I select aren't appearing as the teams I've selected during the rounds after complete lockout. I really have no idea on what my opponents teams are, and who their captains are.

When I look at my team in team view, it is completely different to the team I see in Matchup View. Captains, VC's and E's are completely different for MY team, let alone who I'll playing.

HTF am i supposed to try and understand where I'm sitting going into each game.

I am I missing something or is AFL Fantasy completey F#^ked up this year

ive deactivated my account just now,i agree with some of the things mentioned not being good, but i was willing to put up with most, what i wont put up with is that i cant check all my leagues,i just joined every league thats settings i liked,i dont even know how many, last week i checked them & knew for sure it wasnt all of them, this week some others are listed & several from last week are not

so i tried to search them & cant do that,so whats the use of playing if you cant keep up with progress in leagues?simple solution, deactivate account & im done with afl fantasy

to be honest since playing ultimate footy i really cant be bothered with the other 3 inferior comps,i only play them to be in leagues with friends & for a greater variety of players,so this is no great loss, kudos to supercoach this year for making its site much more user friendly
