No can do, it’s a partial lockout (Thursday) into full lockout (Friday) not a rolling lockout so Curnow as first named midfielder gets the VC

You allowed my opponent to pick their VC on Sunday in Round 5 when they didn't name one, is there different rules for some than everyone else?

For those wondering, FTC and I cleared this up.
Round 5 was a rolling lockout due to Anzac Day Eve and Anzac Day games on the Tuesday and Wednesday.
Round 16 (this week) is a partial lockout on Thursday into the full lockout on Friday due to only having the Thursday night game outside the norm.

Name so nice you say it twice, not a bad 70 point second half from Aliir Aliir :)
Boston Terriers 17.11.113 lost to New Brooklyn Hawks 18.10.118
(Real: 1695 vs 1764)
Very good win by the Hawks on the back of a big captain score - Cripps' 156. Jack Steele was also very good for the Hawks, while Ben Brown kicked a bag - but they also did have three scores under 45. Redden was Boston's best but Gray's injury was a huge blow.
Boston: Redden, Laird, Goldstein, Howe, Wingard, Thomas
Brooklyn: Cripps, Steele, Brown, Brayshaw
Carolina Panthers 18.11.119 lost to Anaheim Mighty Ducks 20.9.129
(Real: 1788 vs 1928)
Carolina weren't too bad...but they got done in by Anaheim semi-comfortably on the back of another big/outlier captain score, this time by Dangerfield showing some of the form that he hasn't shown too much this season. Meanwhile, Grundy and Kelly were mediocre as the Carolina C and VC, with Luke Ryan being their best.
Best
Carolina: Ryan, Ward, Martin, Atkins, Kelly, Shiel, Grundy
Anaheim: Dangerfield, Mundy, Heppell, Hurley, Smith, Merrett
Las Vegas Sinners 17.10.112 defeated Quito Quetzals 17.9.111
(Real: 1670 vs 1669)
Ouch...heartbreaking (although with those scores neither team really deserved it!). I'm fairly sure this was the final score, I'll post the workings below in case anybody wants to double check. Naitanui and Carlisle injuries really hurt the Sinners, but another huge/outlier captain score by Mitchell was a big win - and a trio of 63s as utilities was visually appealing. Young McCluggage was the best for the Quetzals, while Higgins was decent too but JUST not enough.
Best
Las Vegas: Mitchell, Franklin, Powell-Pepper, Lyons, McGrath
Quito: McCluggage, Higgins, Aliir, Neal-Bullen
San Francisco Grizzlies 20.9.129 defeated Chicago Sharks 18.7.115
(Real: 1928 vs 1722)
You're welcome, Anaheim and Carolina. Big big win as we set our sights for 2019, while Chicago's finals hopes are in jeopardy. Another two big captain scores in Martin (142) and Oliver (136), but we were, for once, good across the board with only the two sub-50 scores. Chicago weren't necessarily bad - they did have six centurions - but were hurt by key injuries to Kennedy and Ryder.
Best
San Francisco: Martin, Steven, Wines, Shaw, Hawkins, Adams
Chicago: Oliver, Lynch, Wallis, Hurn, Parker, Gaff
Ottawa Otters 18.11.117 lost to Wisconsin Cockerels 21.10.136
(Real: 1757 vs 2041)
Wait, teams can have huge scores despite not having a huge/outlier captain? Who would've thought. Ripper team performance gets the Cockerels a rare 2000+ score, while Ottawa were pretty decent, just beaten by a better side on the day who had everybody kicking goals.
Best
Ottawa: Shiels, McGovern, Hogan, Taranto, Myers
Wisconsin: Gawn, Macrae, Shuey, Billings, O'Meara, Rampe, Ablett, Curnow, Zorko
Colorado Avalanche 15.12.102 lost to Houston Bombers 17.9.111
(Real: 1537 vs 1670)
Not pretty by Houston, but they did enough to get over the Avalanche, who at least hit the ton this week...
Best
Colorado: none :(
Houston: Sloane, Ziebell, Beams, Crisp
Hahaha. Brooklyn must have the best defenders. No one can score against me.

With one week to go, our top six looks pretty set unless Chicago wins and Anaheim loses (and they make up the percentage. I'll do the fixtures next, with the ladder being split into thirds and having randomised fixtures between the four teams in each section, like with last season. Boston, Las Vegas, and Brooklyn will be fighting for finals placings in the top four, while Anaheim will hope to both jump Houston and not fall below Chicago, while Carolina are out of the finals race due to bad luck through the season. None of our bottom four can make finals (unless a few teams above them get banished), but they can still look to post a good end to an unsuccessful season.

Enough progress according to who?
The admin who declared himself the unluckiest coach in the comp as justification for his side's demise? ;)

Well it was true for the first ~half of the season and here and there after that ;-;
And the injuries! Williams and Scully have played a quarter of footy between them all season, Deledio has missed 10 games (126 average the last three games he played), Viney over half the season, Pittard and Mayes have barely gotten a go based on injuries and form, Hill missed three months, Betts missed a month, while I had a couple LTIs to youngsters just as they were getting into the swing of things (Ryan, Redman, Begley).
But I have had some good luck with low-tier starters/depth players breaking out. Tom Stewart jumped to a 90 average, Scott Thompson has played every game and is averaging 85 at 32, his highest average since 2013, Jed Anderson has averaged 90 since R4 if you exclude his injury-induced 6 after I basically wrote him off before this season (he's listed as my 16th forward out of 16 on my depth chart from pre-season), and Tomahawk has averaged 94, 109 over the last six games and 103 since R5. Watch out next year because I reckon we're due for some good luck and a big rise once Williams, Scully, Deledio, and Viney get back on the park
we have had so many injuries
Greene, B Smith, Bennell, Birchall to name a few

But your 2016 injury/suspension list was genuinely horrible
