EXV Trading now open.
Ok so trading is up, there is no longer a cap of trading players, we trust teams won't go too crazy and change their whole list.
Trades can be 1 for 1, 1 for 2, 1 for 15 if you want it.
Saying a trade is clearly even we will pass it right away, & if we think a trade is questionable we ask around and then make a judgement. Saying it's really unfair we will PM the coach winning by too much and ask if they are willing to pay more, but we have a strong set of coaches so we don't see too many problems.
No cap, no restrictions, do whatever you want to improve your team.

Baguley provides some much needed cover as a defender. Turning 31 and coming off a 65 average the value is not that high. Doedee went in the middle of the draft last year, more of a SCer we havent seen anything from him yet.

Rejected, Lyons is only 2 years younger then Hill and 1 year younger then Cavs
Cavs started the year in shocking form but averaged 93 in the last 8 before getting injured.
Hill came out with a 91 in the first 5 then picking up a hammy and shoulder issue. Came back with a 83 after injury reckon he wasn't fully healthy.
High 80s for both guys looks the likely scenario so too much value for a mid 90s guy given the age gap is not huge.

Confirm.
Russia gives: Nat 29 + Cutler
Belarus gives: Nat 18 + Nat 46
Reason: It's risky because Cutler got dropped by the Lions but there's every chance our pick 18 might not pan out either. When fit and playing, Cutler is a young defender that averages in the 80s. We couldn't afford to offload a draft pick straight up when rebuilding so we got N29 back in exchange for N46.
Rids/nost to confirm.

Confirmed. We have good solid defender depth so happy to go into the draft and look for a youngster in a different position.
Bashers Give: Trent Cotchin + Nick Vlastuin
Storm Give: Jarrod Witts + Rookie 8 + Rookie 22
Reason: We're off the Tiggy Train just as it is gaining momentum. Unfortunately for us, Sauce won't be around for ever. Acquiring Witts gives us a U2 who can swing into the ruck should anything happen to Sauce, and swing there permanently once Sauce hangs it up in 4-5 years time (GUN).
Farewell to long-term Bashers in Cotch and Vlast, their service to the club has been much appreciated.

Confirmed.
Cotchin gives us a third consistent captain option in the midfield alongside Clarrie & Wines.
Vlastuin averaged 82 in the last 7 weeks and could really make 2018 his own. Was played forward for whatever reason at points this year but when back averaged a solid 77 overall uninjured.
Sad to see Witts go in all honesty, but think we were compensated fairly with how short we are on good defenders.

Approved.
Cotchin is only 2 years older then Witts and we know he is a rock solid mid premo. No superstar anymore but still very handy.
Now the gap is still big due to age and position, however have looked into vlaustin. His 66 average is deceiving. He has put up front for a few games and sucked he also got injured.
He picked up 82 in his last 7 weeks of the season. 6/7 80+ scores too. Defenders are very sort out in this comp.
In terms of the rookie its a weaker crop this year so no issue with them

Reason from outside source: defenders are short in this comp so you've gotta give a bit and Lester has only just broken out and still avgs less than Suckers. Is 4 years his junior though at a side that is meant to be on the up, all in all very even trade
Recruiting department at the Bashers working tirelessly at the moment.
Bashers Give: N27 + R54
Bears Give: J.McVeigh + N48
Fairly sure the Swans won't be giving Jarrad McVeigh and his calves a new contract, so I'll be sweating on him getting offers from elsewhere and relocating his family for another 1-2 years at another club, but I'm willing to take the risk. Nas gets himself a second round pick and a late dig at the rookie pool. Love it when a trade is done in a handful of PMs!

Bell is a solid fwd who has averaged 70ish in years gone by. Had an injury affected season this year. Atto was also keen on the rookie pick. Blicavs has lost his role a little in the Cats midfield but we are happy to take the punt on him. We got a late nat pick back due to the amount of retirements we have had already from the Roulettes.

I had no backline last year and I have bulk forwards. Actually not rebuilding the team was fine last year just injured and position wise to weak down back.

the ones in orange I will look into in more detail. It doesn't mean people have PMed me about them or if i think they have an issue, I just like to research some of the bigger moves. I do quite abit of research looking into the numbers and reading reports so i can make an informed opinion.
Bashers Give: N.Robertson + B.Boekhorst

Would never have traded ROB before Nank broke out as I'm confident he'll be good post-Sauce (or Adelaide might kill Sauce with ROB like Collingwood with Cox and Brisbane with Smith - we all hope not), but now I have two young rucks I'm pretty happy.
Robertson and Boekhorst are both maybes but we're a young team so have the time to gamble on maybes. Hopefully I don't regret trading another ND pick.

both teams win, you could argue slight overpay for ROB but you cant undervalue getting a ruck set. Huggy is right if jacobs goes down then he is the likely replacement. I think Jacobs will be going around for abit though.

Bashers Give: B.Smith + N.Hrovat + D.Byrne-Jones + N12
Storm Give: L.Dahlhaus + T.Barrass
Reason: It has finally happened, after three years of speculation and persistent badgering from the Belgian Bashers trade team, they have their man. Luke Dahlhaus is a Basher. It cost us a starting defender, a starting forward, our first round pick and a very exciting young kid but we are very happy to have Lukey Dahl (hopefully) in our forward line next season. This trade helps the Storm with their mini-rebuild, adding 3 youngsters to their list who will all start for them one day (imo) along with another first round National Draft Pick.

Very sad to see Lukey Dahlhaus go but Brodie and DBJ provide much-needed help in the backline, along with Hrovat giving us some solid depth in the forward line and N12 to massively help with our rebuild; Tom Barrass going to the Bashers as well to give them a youngster and to even it out.

We were after another starting defender because it was a coin flip most of this season as to who to field at D4.JJ is a solid option for us to fill that spot.
Hungary Trade: Nat Pick 1 + Mason Wood + Nathan Vardy
Spain Trade: Dyson Heppell
Reason: I love Rayner and as excited as i was to pick up Dustin Martin 2.0 the way trading evolved, im actually pushing for a flag which might sound crazy coming from the spoon winner.
Nathan Vardy just makes sense, lots reckon he has the number 2 spot at the eagles to NN Vardy combo is great.
Mason Wood, is really highly rated, signed a 4 year contract next year. Forward who drifts up the gronud. The issue is his body has held him back. I have forwards (albiet old) so the loss of him isnt a big deal for the next 2 years.

This trade has been amended after being rejected to
Svalbard give: Hurn
Bears give: Mumford
Reasoning- the Bears have surplus rucks and Mumford has the shortest shelf life. Svalbard have a couple of backs and need a playing ruck. Although Mumford is a higher ranked ruck than Hurn is a defender, considering in Euros we field 56 backs a week as opposed to only 14 rucks, we see this as evening out.
To be honest, I feel like this trade was over policed and the original trade was well within reasonable grounds. But whatever.
