The countdown is on with only 72 hours remaining before the bell rings and our knights start wading into the heat of battle. Some will prove to be Knights rivalling those of Medieval legends, while others will prove to be poor men forced into service, ultimately cowering in the corner waiting for the fighting to end. Our time of research and planning is over, and the time for action is drawing nearer. So prepare yourself for a long and tumultuous season, full of twist, turns and tantrums.
This year we are adding a 3rd division to the growing list. Pleasee welcome all the new players and read the below to see who and what you may be facing this year.
Know your competition
Division 1
Corkascrew â€" After debuting as the overall points winner and a finals appearance, Corkascrew backed up one again making the big dance, unfortunately though it wasn’t second time lucky falling to wildcard SCHILLACI in the final. With 2 near misses underhis belt the fire will surely be burning to go one further.
Stubbsy's Heroes â€" Returning for a third year, Stubbsy has showed himself to be a strong competitor and a player not to be underestimated. A slight improvement on his debut year resulted in a playoff loss to finals bound Corkascrew. He will be hoping for continued improvement into the top 4 this year.
Spinach â€" Another 3rd year player and one of only two with back to back All Australian Honours in addition to a FF Medal. A huge chance to go deep into September and a player to be feared when meeting on the hallowed turf.
Mountalizians FC â€" After a solid, but not outstanding 2015, he turned in the performance of the year to take out the Div 1 premiership and overall points title that rivalled a nailbiting competition in excitement. Another player to watch when the head to head starts.
Tiger of Old â€" After losing out in the final of the consolidation finals will this be the year that Tiger of Old and take the next step and compete with the top echelons of the league. With the league going from strength to strength mediocrity may no longer be enough to be safe from relegation if he doesn’t perform from the off.
bombers rule â€" Just missing out on an All Australian berth last year will have stung and he will be playing with the full weight of a bomber behind him. Bent on revenge and retribution, will this be his year.
Terrifying Glue â€" Counting his lucky stars after just avoiding relegation last year and will be needing to improve to stand a chance this year in what is arguably a tougher field.
Cunning Coyotes â€" Coming in as a wildcard last year the Coyotes had little expectation and that allowed him to perform well enough to survive and get a taste of Div 1 action. Will be better for the run last year, expect a move up the table.
bics best â€" Consistent performer that will provide every opponent with an honest if not competitive match. Where the improvement will come from is undetermined, but with the stars aligning anything could be possible.
6TruckAKABigTonka â€" After 2 strong years and back to back All Australian nominations we have seen a name change for the previous WingardiumLobbeosa. Now known as 6TruckAKABigTonka he will be hoping he can channel the grunt of the trucks and push towards a premiership.
SCHILLACI â€" A whirlwind run to the finish line resulted in a first premiership for SCHILLACI, beating the odds and all infront of him to take home the trophy. Coming in a wildcard history showed strong results, but this was unexpected in his first year. Is a hunted man, how will he deal with the pressure?
Jive Turkeys â€" The first of the promoted teams and coming in with huge confidence after competing at the top all year. Whether he can maintain the level for another year is up for discussion.
Bored Saints â€" Runaway FF Medal winner, Premier and Champion of Div 2. A well-deserved promotion and huge money has been coming in on the betting markets for him to repeat the performance in Division 1.
BlueBaggers â€" After showing potential in previous years, Bluebaggers stepped in and took the next step in his progression taking the coveted 3rd promotion spot, competing strongly at the highest level for the full year it was really well deserved. Has the drive and fortitude to perform at this level.
Don't Dog LeBois â€" Needed a wildcard to get another chance in Div 1. After tasting relegation once he will be hoping to prove the doubters wrong and avoid a similar fate. Will the Name Change provide the magic needed to do it.
Brainpharts â€" Has been given a callup to div 1 replacing a non returning player. Has big shoes to fill and after a solid year will be hoping to take his chance, prove he is meant to be here and cement his stop for future years.
McBasketball â€" A year well below expectations wa not the tonic that McBasketball wanted. Showed some glipses last year of potential taking some huge scalps throughout the year, will need to put a full campaign together to keep himself up this year.
Peptides FC â€" A last minute callup for Peptides FC after 2 strong years of rankings, he has shown the ability to perform at the top level and has been given the chance to prove that on the field.
Division 2
$Blues â€" After barely avoiding relegation in 2015, $blues was unable to recover and was hit with the relegation fate in 2016. 2 years of poor performances should provide him with the ammunition and fire to want to prove his place in the league.
The Usual Suspects â€" Everyone is aware of the threat that The Usual Suspects hold, but he doesn’t hold the fear of other coaches due to being so “usualâ€. Its not as bad as a cookie cutter, unless there is leftover cookie dough to eat.
Frogjumper â€" A massive surprise relegation last year after taking out the title the year before. Combination of poor choices, injuries and a huge deficit resulted in not being able to ever catch up in such a strong league. After 2 strong years will be hoping it was just a once off poor year. Is a finals chance and one to watch.
Engineticians â€" After being relegated in 2015, Engineticians was able to halt the slide and maintain his position in Division 2. Will need improvement to challenge for finals, but not out of the equation.
Ringos Rocky Road â€" Coming off a fairly strong year in a league that had some very strong players. Will be better for the competition and one that should be considered when placing your bets.
AENIMIST â€" All Australian returning with a name change. The Hulkamaniacs is now known as Aenimist. Proved last year that he was a huge threat and will be expecting promotion at a minimum this year.
Bull Dust â€" Another returning All Australian member that is out for revenge and a spot within Division 1 next year. The competition will be fierce and dust will be thrown in all directions in pursuit of the end goal.
Flying Fids â€" Has shown in the past that he can compete with everyone, is in the mood to show that he has what it takes to become a legend. Will he fly or fall?
MC's Mix â€" Huge pedigree that never came to the fore last year with one of his worst finishes in living memory. Expect a bounce back and be one of the contenders come years end.
Tigertuff â€" Form has always been up and down with Tigertuff. No-one knows which version they will get and that makes people nervous in the leadup to matches. Is a player that can make or break other teams ambitions.
Raging Marshmellow â€" Debuted with a strong performance and snuck the final All Australian nomination. Missing out on Promotion was harsh given his performance, however it goes to show the strength of the leagues. Don’t count out a repeat performance.
Beef Tannen FC â€" Reall struggled to make an impact last year, with the beef being quick dry and chewy. Luckily though it showed just enough to warrant another go, maybe this time with a few extra herbs and spices to give that extra kick up the ladder.
Milk Milk Lemonade â€" Excitement is an understatement. The eagerness and ambition is rife in Milk Milk Lemonade, will that be his downfall in a league where one error could be the difference between promotion or relegation.
Bloods â€" An unknown quantity, no-one really knows what to expect other than to expect the unexpected. The potential is there for a finals appearance.
Koop’s Kickas â€" A rare breed will be making his debut in 2017. Breed in the same vein as a champion race horse. Definitely one to watch out for this year.
The Sloane Ranger â€" A late wildcard entry into Division 2. Hinderance or help, can he survive the high level competition?
Team Pendles â€" Coming in with a lot of experience in fantasy competitions Team Pendles has proven time and time again that he is a model fantasy pro. However with experience comes age and this could come back to bite him in the upcoming years.
I have no Clurey â€" A clear clue is in the name. No Clurey. Will the clue be in the pudding, or will it be going down the toilet at years end.
Division 3
SydneyRox â€" League Captain and one of the favourites to take out the first edition of Division 3. Will have stiff competition in a league that contains some very strong players.
. â€" Its just a dot, underestimated, who knows, can a dot grow or will be become invisible to the other teams. Only time will tell.
DMCC XXII â€" Comes in with history behind him that many would just stare at in awe 599 (2011), 1100 (2012), N/A (2013), 150 (2014), 1250 (2015), 6850 (2016). Not many others can boast that record. Top 4 threat.
Ellis inWonderland â€" Comes in with some solid ranks and experience from previous years. This is a step up in level and will need to take that step to be competitive.
The Abusement park â€" Constant name changes are his game, clearly supercoach is second to this. Due to this he won’t be seen as much of a threat to most of the competition.
Shanes Shakers â€" Will he shake, will he bake, or will be snake his way up the ladder.
FIGJAM â€" Another team that is looking to comeback from a poor 2016. The name doesn’t reflect his performance and will need to perform a lot better to prove to everyone what is isn’t just talk.
Ka-Boom â€" An outside chance at best and already written off by the bookies. With a bit of luck and some inspired choices and mid season moves he could just be the darkhorse of the competition.
DazCats16 â€" A very poor 2016 finishing around 25k in the rankings doesn’t show the full story. Has the potential to finish much higher and give a few other a run for their money.
KickaKrowy â€" The worst name in fantasy football, clearly inaccurate. However a name doesn’t make a player most of the time, it’s the performance. A outside finals chance.
Littleblackbook â€" After being unable to join last year due to a lack of positions available Littleblackbook makes his long awaited debut. With an extra year of experience under his belt he should be able to perform to the level required.
echucaflyer â€" Has something to prove to himself after a disaster 2016. A repeat performance would surely result in relegation. Outside chance of finals.
FISKER FC â€" With a best ranking of 10th overall, FISKER FC is coming in as the bookies favourite. Consistent results in the top 2k is what is needed to succeed in a promotion type league.
Lenneth7 â€" Is going in confident that he will be able to take one of the 3 promotion positions. Needs to have the right combination of confidence and control to achieve that goal.
Hammertown â€" Longterm player that is wanting to try his hand against the best. To do that though he will need to Hammer through the ranks, first port of call is Div 3.
Gdog â€" Very little is known about Gdog and one to be wary of when scouting your opponents. His experience should prove that he knows what he is doing and might slide under the radar.
The Inner Game â€" Doesn’t know what to expect within the leagues, but has taken the leap into the unknown. This might be an eyeopening experience proving him grounding to push further in future years.
TBD â€" Final Team still to be determined.
Arguably this is the strongest composition that the Promotion/Relegation leagues have ever seen and it is providing the possibility of a league ranking higher than those of the last 2 years. Good luck to all coaches and may the best coach win.

War has started, squads have been selected, players have walked onto the battlefield ready to give their all. It’s time to back your changes in with the possibilities for all teams currently infinite moving forward. Will you be the one that charges towards glory, languishes mid table or fights and scraps in those important relegation positions.
This week’s update will be quite short given the head to head matchups start in round 3. Use this time to start researching your opponents and develop those winning strategies that many a team before you have failed to do.
This year we have got revamped and redesigned leaderboards, hopefully you all find these an improvement on last years. I certainly find them easier to read.
Round 1 Fixtures

Will be done individual images from next week to increase the size to the same as the other images
Round 1 was as tight as a grandma on a pension with 99 points separating the top 22 teams. Coming out on top was Terrifying Glue and well deserved being the only team to break the 2300 barrier, being Round 1 this means he leads all competitions. Stubbsy’s Heroes brought home the 15 points with a strong 2294 setting up his season nicely. Both our top 2 came from Division 1, however that was the end of their participation, with the next entry finishing in 19th place for the week. Rounding out the top 3 was Engineticians, a team who is out to prove the doubters wrong did his chances no harm in round 1.

39/54 teams are over 4300 points. Which would get you into the top 8 ATM in any of my outside FF leagues.
Div 1 - Improved in week 2, but have 4 teams that have started like a tractor in mud.
Div 2 - Early signs are it will be very competitve for all positions.
Div 3 - Some very good scores to start, but also propping up the worst team who is already 100 points behind the second worst across all leagues. need him to pickup his game.
Definitely one of the tractors in mud, we're looking at getting some new tyres this week......
This week, look out, No stuffed up C/VC selection, No Donut in ruck (Goldy/North you mongrels) whilst rookies score 100+. Should be 4500 points not bloody 4343. Currently ranked 26721

This is the week that everything changes, your battle plans become set in stone. Whether you meet your maker, or become the maker, that much is up to you. This week is one of the most important in the SC year, it is the time where you can correct your sides, fix those burning problems or just take the chance to make a luxury switch (Hanners im looking at you).
The head to head starts this week and if you haven’t yet scouted out your opponents teams you still have a little bit of time to do so. Remember thought they are in the same position as you and are likely to make some changes, so be warned.

Division 1
Match of the Round â€" Mountalizians FC vs Bored Saints
A humdinger of a first round matchup pits last years Div 1 champion against last years overall points champion. Both would have been hoping for an easier start to the season, but alas one team will get off to a winning start and one will be left playing catchup.
The Prediction â€" Bored Saints will come out with a very close win.
Division 2
Match of the Round â€" Frogjumper vs Ringos Rocky Road
Ringos Rocky Road has started the season in top notch form with 2 weeks of strong results leaving him in a podium position in overall points. His first round doesn’t come much harder with a visit to previous Div 1 champion Frogjumper, who after last years result is out for redemption.
The prediction - Ringos Rocky Road will prove that his 2 weeks were no fluke.
Division 3
Match of the Round â€" The Abusement Park vs The Inner Game
Much like the other divisions there is 1 match that stands out as a crucial fixture. Both teams have performed admirably so far with 2 consistent scores putting them well up the leaderboards. The Abusement Park sitting a strong 5th across all division, while The Inner Game just misses the leaderboard in 11th.
Prediction â€" The Abusement Park will come out slightly too strong.
The Leaderboards
Much like last week, the leagues showed once again that the difference between the Div 1 and Div 3 is not much, to be able to perform in any league you will need to be able to show that you have the ability, skill and staying power. Divison 3’s Shanes Shakers took out the top position on the podium with a huge 2375. Making up the rest of the podium was Div 2’s Ringos Rocky Road and Division 1 Peptides FC. With 1 representative from each of the 3 divs on the podium just goes to show how even the competition is. Shoutout to Stubbsy’s Heroes and The Abusement Park for being the only teams to feature in the top 10 in both the first 2 weeks, is this a sign of things to come.

The two top scorers Terrifying Glue and Shanes Shakers share the top spot with 25 points apiece, neither were able to perform across both weeks, so at this stage we have no definitive leader. Stubbsy’s heroes rounds out the top 3 with his 2 consistent performances, will be hoping for a third to take over the leadership. This early into the season it is hard to tell what is going to happen and who will be the contenders, as there have been a few teams with consistent good scores that have yet to register a point.

Shane Shakers huge score in Round 2 has skyrocketed him from 11th into 1st, it just shows how much impact 1 good week can have on overall at such an early stage of the year. In a close second is Stubbsy’s Heroes 32 points behind, Ringos Rocky Road come in a further 10 points back. Currently though there are 22 teams within 200 points of the leader and within striking distance if they have a good week. Bringing up the rear are Div 2’s Bloods, Div 1’s 6TruckAKABigTonka and Div 3’s echuca flyer. Just remember boys there is still time to catchup and avoid that dreaded relegation position.

The first shots have been fired across the team’s bows, with several players making waves on the unknown ocean that is supercoach. Others have already seen the ship start sinking, taking on water as fast as a cheetah chasing its prey.
This week saw the set a forget ruck model blown to smithereens with Gawn going down early and Goldy putting in a performance for the ages, and mean stone age style quality. Remember that trades are important, but you still need to field a team that is competitive and able to keep you in the hunt.

Match of the Round â€" Mountalizians FC vs Bored Saints
The rematch of last years power houses didn’t live up to its billing with Mountalizians FC pulling out a huge total to runs away with a 150 point win. Bored Saints will desperately be looking to bounce back against a terrifying Glue team that has been very strong to start the year.
In the other results, Stubbsy’s Heroes had no trouble dispatching Corkascrew, Mcbasketball put on a masterclass for Don’t Dog LeBois smashing him by 223 points, Cunning Coyotes got lucky with a low score getting the win against a poor Brainpharts outfit. Bics best proved he had too much composure for Spinach, Tiger of Old taught promoted bombers rules a lesson, Terrifying Glue won a hiugh scoring affair against SCHILLACI and Jive Turkeys made the TruckAKABigTonka taste defeat for the first time this year.

Match of the Round â€" Frogjumper vs Ringos Rocky Road
In The match of the round Ringos Rocky Road continued his strong start to the year with a hard fought 32 point win over Frogjumper. Both teams showed more than enough to expect they will be around the mark comes the years end.
In other fixtures, The Sloane Ranger performed like the Real Sloane chugging along to a 33 point win over Engineticians. Raging Marshmellow snuck a win past the humps of the Afghan Cameleers, Bull Dust backed up last years strong scores with a big win to start the year. Team Pendles had no trouble getting the 4 points off league low scorer Tigertuff. Flying Fids flew past AENIMIST with the highest for the week. MC’s Mix wont a high scoring match with Koop’s Kickass. Beef TannanFC got a W in the column with $Blues resigned to holding the L and I have no Clurey proved he had a Clurey with a big win over Milk Milk Lemonade.

Match of the Round â€" The Abusement Park vs The Inner Game
The Abusement Park put his credentials on the table prior to the match and was able to back it up with a tight win over The Inner Game. Unfortunately for The Inner Game even though he had the 5th best score in Div 3 for the week, he ran into one of the form teams.
In the other matches, Nolittleblackbook debuted with a win over Gdog. DMCC XXII took home the cake in a great matchup with FISKER FC. Hammertown put the beatdown on the leagues weak link Echuca flyer. Ellis inWonderland took the 4 points against a competitive ., SydneyRox beat a foor Lenneth. Likewise FIGJAM had no issues over DazCats. Shanes Shakers couldn’t backup last weeks epic but still had just enough to take The Flaming Goats out to the trash pile and KickaKrowy ended the match against Ka-Boom with little more than a scratch.

Division 1
Match of the Round â€" BlueBaggers vs McBasketball
Two of the higher scoring teams face off this week. Mcbasketball is coming in off the back of a confidence boosting win, while BlueBaggers strong 2200+ score was not enough to get the 4 points. He will be desperate to bounce back and avoid the dread 0-2 start.
The Prediction â€" Mcbasketball will be too strong and keep Bluebaggers winless.
Division 2
Match of the Round â€" Team Pendles vs Raging Marshmellow
Both teams are coming off round 1 wins and are fairly close in the overall points race. This matchup doubles as a must win for teams that could easily be fighting for a spot in the top 4 or for finals. An 8 pointer this early if ive ever seen one.
The prediction â€" Toss a coin and see if you can hit it with a dart while in the air.
Division 3
Match of the Round â€" KickaKrowy vs Shanes Shakers
Both teams have so far performed admirably in good results, particularly Shanes Shakers. KickaKrowy started the year off slowly, but has been steadily improving as the weeks go on. The Win in Round 1 will have given him a boost in confidence to see if he can match it with one of the premier contenders in Div 3.
Prediction â€" Shanes Shakers will stake him claim and show he is to be feared.
The Leaderboards
This is the first time in memory that I can remember have 2 ties in the top 10 in the same week. Just goes to show the level of competition and closeness of the leagues. Taking out the top spot was Flying Fids with a very strong 2373. This 1st position follows up his 5th place showing in Round 1. In the minor placings were Mountalizians FC (First appearance) on 2342 & Bull Dust (Second appearance) 2338.
Somewhat surprisingly not a single division 3 team made the top 10 for this week and they will be out for revenge this week to prove they are as strong as the other divisions.

Flying Fids made his move up the leaderboard with the 25 points taking over the top spot from Terrifying Glue & Shanes Shakers. Terrifying Glue was able to put some separation between himself and Shanes Shakers with his 4 points this week. The biggest mover though was Bull Dust rocketing from outside the top 10 into 7th thanks to his podium finish. There have been several consistent teams over the first few weeks that are starting to show their qualities, can they continue over the upgrade period and avoid all the issues to keep the momentum going.

Flying Fids and Bull Dusts big scores for the week saw them overtake all challengers and sit in 1st and 2nd overall. Terrifying Glue rounds out the top 3 going past Ringo’s Rocky Road into 3rd place. Shanes Shakers fall from 1st to 9th just goes to show how 1 good or 1 bad week can have a huge impact on your position. We are starting to see the teams at the top separate from those in the middle of the pack last wee there was 22 teams within 200 points of the leader, this week there are only 16.
Reversing the table sees Echuca flyer still propping up the rear by 220 points, Dazcats and Brainpharts are also struggling, but are still in touching distance of the teams above them.

Wow, what a tough week it was to be a coach. Scored plummeted several hundred points with rookies and premiums alike stinking up the stadiums like skunks with excessive gas. If you have been able to avoid a lot of the issues this year then you should be feeling on top of the world, as you have as good of a chance as the leaders to be ruling the roost come years end; pending your effective or ineffective trade plans.

Mcbasketball has once again shown his credentials to the FF Community with a comprehensive victory of Bluebaggers. Never looking in trouble McBasketball moved to a 2-0 record and is setting himself up for a strong run at the titles. Bluebaggers on the otherhand has been dealt a difficult hand winless after 2 and with a difficult matchup against Corkascrew who will also be looking for his first win.
In the other results, SCHILLACI got his campaign running with a hardfought win over Jive Turkeys, BigTonka ran over the Tiger of Old with an important win and 4 points. Terrifying Glue continued his impressive start to the year, this time downing Bored Saints. Bics best had too much in the tank for a competitive Bombers Rule outfit. Mountalizians FC backed up his huge score with another solid score in a tough week that was enough to take out Peptides FC. Brainpharts smashed a hapless Spinach into a new dimension. Cunning Coyotes took home the bacon leaving Stubbsy’s Heroes none for dinner. Don’t Dog LeBois got into the winners circle with win over the 0-2 Corkascrew

Match of the Round â€" Team Pendles vs Raging Marshmellow
In a fairly low scoring affair in comparision to other matches Raging Marshmellow just slightly better in the key moments to get a 36 point win. Team Pendles will be feeling like this was 4 points lost after Raging Marshmellow posted a total that was ultimately beatable, but he was unable to take the chance and run with it.
In other fixtures, Engineticians got himself on the board sniping the Afgham Cameleers from the winners podium. Bull Dust put in a solid shift bring The Sloane Ranger back down to Earth. Flying Fids pulled out another big total to comfortably beat Bloods. MC’s Mic put the second W in the column after putting Tigertuff out of his misery early. He will be hoping to make it 3 wins this week. Frogjumper kickstarted his season with a win over AENIMIST who so far has had a tough run and will need to pick up his game going forward. Beef Tanna FC went all Steve Austin on Koops Kickass. Ringos Rocky Road is looking more like Ringos Smooth Road with a win over Milk Milk Lemonade. $Blues won a super high scoring contest over I have No Clurey the later feeling like he ran over a black cat being so unlucky.

AS expect Shanes Shakers took home the points fairly comfortably. He didn’t set the world on fire like many expected with his total of 2039 failing to reach the high standards he set earlier in the season. Question marks are now being asked if he was just a 1 week wonder. KickaKrowy won’t be worried just yet, but needs to step up to have a chance at promotion for next year.
In the other matches, Gdog was too strong for The Inner Game kickstarting his season. Nolittleblackbook posted a huge total to have no issues in dispatching FISKER FC. Hammertown upset The Abusement Park with what ended up being a comfortable win. . defeated DMCC XXII in a high scoring matchup that was potentially a preview to future matchups come post season. Lenneth had the gimme win over Echuca Flyer who is not showing the improvement just yet. FIGJAM was happy to avoid defeat with Ellis inWonderland pushing him all the way in another high scoring encounter. The Flaming Goats took out SydneyRox by 51 points. While Ka-Boom managed to get a win with a paltry 1883, lucky for him he came up agsinst DazCats whose 1782 rivaled that of echuca flyer as one of the worst normal season scores in FF PR history.

Im not sure what is going on, im calling a conspiracy as we have now had back to back weeks where there has been 2 ties in the top 10 for the week. I have no Clurey and Nolittleblackbook tying for the final podium position and Flying Fids and FIGJAM tying for 8th. However taking out the coveted 25 points was $Blues, his impressive 2158 was more than enough. Mcbasketball stepped into the 2nd position on the podium draining from long range a 2144 shot. Will we see the same teams again next week, or will new forces make an appearance.

$Blues 25 points rocketed him up from 12th into 2nd place on 32 points. With the leader only sitting with 33.5 points the leaderboard is still close enough for every team, even those still somehow sitting on the dreaded 0 (Of which there are 29 of them). Mcbasketball also made a big move coming from outside the top 10 to slot into 5th position, while I have no Clurey worked his way up to 8th.

Much like the FF Medal Leaderboard the top spot is held by Flying Fids. His is being chased relentlessly by McBasketball and Terrifying Glue, both whom are breathing down his neck. Bull Dust and Ringo’s Rocky Road make up the top 5 before we see a 92 point gap back to a cluster of about 20 teams. Will we see the top 5 start to develop a bigger gap on the rest, or will they come back to the pack in the upcoming weeks. Who will be the bolter that comes from the clouds??? That’s anyone’s guess right now.

The match of the round was a cracker this week with Tiger of Old getting the better o SCHILLACI by 11 points. In a match that arguably could have gone either way the Tigers roared to life when it counted leaving SCHILACCI down in the doldrums with a sub-par 1-2 record.
In the other results, Cunning Coyotes chalked up another win this time taking out Don’t Dog LeBois. Bluebaggers won an extremely low scoring tight contest against Corkascrew the loss leaving Corkascrew with an almightly task to turn his form around. Stubbsy’s Heroes applied for a no contest win after Spinach put up little fight. Mcbasketball went large to strike a big blow to Mountalizians FC. Brainpharts was on the right side of a win over bombers rule in another very low scoring encounter. Peptides FC posted a huge score to outlast high flyer Terrifying Glue. Bics best went even larger and put a percentage boosting win on the board over BigTonka. Jive Turkeys continued to impress with a hard fought win over Bored Saints.

In the match of the round, which somehow happened to be the overall lowest scoring matchup $Blues was unable to keep up his high scoring posting a paltry 2131, lucky for him though Ringo’s Rocky Road followed the same trajectory with an even lower 2115.
In other results, Bull Dust snuck past the post with a 8 point win over Afghan Cameleers. Engineticians had way too much swagger and poise for Team Pendles. The Sloane Ranger bounced back like a yoyo dispatching high flyer â€" Flying Fids. MC’s Mix topped the 2.3k mark to easily take out Raging Marshmellow. Frogjumper continued his hopping up the leaderbord with a win over Bloods. Beef Tanna went huge against a league low Tiger Tuff. AENIMIST took heart from the Anzacs to beat Milk Milk Lemonade. Koops Kickas returned to the winners circle with a comfortable beating of I have no Clurey.

In the match of the round . posted a very solid score of 2251 to comfortably sned Nolittleblackbook home crying after his 2163 was not enough. . has performed admirably so far this season and is shaping as a contender in all forms, while Nolittleblackbook hasn’t yet shown the consistency of the top teams to be a long term contender, however he is a very dangerous opponent on any given week
In the other matches, FISKER FC had little trouble in giving The Inner Game a 1-2 knockout punch. Gdog went huge to tally up back to back wins and move up the table. The Abusement Park reacted to his upset loss with a low scoring win over Lenneth. FIGJAM heaped more misery on DMCC XXII with a big win. The Flaming Goats only needed to get into smoldering form to take out Echuca flyer. Ellis inWonderland was only slightly too strong for Ka-Boom, it was an unlucky loss for Ka-Boom as he would have beaten 4 of the other winners for the week. KickaKrowy went low to take 4 point off of a SydneyRox team that was surprisingly super super poor. However the biggest upset of the year came in the final match where DazCats put in a vintage performance (2279) to upset promotion contender and early leader Shanes Shakers (2264) by 15 points in a very high scoring encounter.

Parity has been restored with no split points for the week. GDog has taken out the number 1 position and the 25 points for the week. His 3rd week in the top 10 and second in a row. Solid effort for a Div 3 coach, who is clearly staking his claim early as a contender for promotion. Sitting second on the podium was Bics Best who’s 2369 was a score that would make any coach proud. FIGJAM rounded out the podium with 2354 and sneaking past Beef Tannan FC. Shoutout to Dazcats who made his first appearance in the top 10 after struggling in the debut year in the competition.

Flying Fids has managed to hold his number 1 position for another week. Gdog was the big mover coming from 18th into into 2nd and splitting the aforementioned Flying Fids and $Blues who was unable to accrue more points this week. FIGJAM was the other big mover shaking and baking his way up from 16th into 8th.

There was huge movement in the overall point’s leaderboard this week with some of the top teams struggling, while many mid table teams put it above average scores and either rocketed up the leaderboard, or consolidated a position just outside the top 10. Mcbasketball is the new leader after his strong score taking over the number 1 position from Flying Fids. Bics best has leaped into 2nd 61 points back following his huge score, while Terrifying Glue maintained his low step on the podium. The big movements came from the lower positons. Beef Tannan FC 12th into 5th, FIGJAM 22nd into 8th, & Engineticians 15th into 9th.

Fake news is rife with rumours coming in thick and fast. There is talk of several teams with 20 trades left already, others who have given up and some more who are smoking some seriously mind altering drugs. The amount of news that is sprouted by the media to the masses has meant that huge amount of teams have been struck with the popular player issues. This has allowed players to chase points and we are seeing the signs of this with very few FF members in the top rankings compared to previous years. The Byes will be where the men are separated from the boys as the structure this year is the hardest I have ever witnessed. Getting 18 playing in R11 & 13 will be key to moving up the rankings.

In The match of the round Peptides FC can thank his lucky stars that his opponent Jive Turkeys posted a score that was even worse than his own. Anytime you get a win with the 5th lowest score in the league you must have been lucky with the matchups and Peptides was just this.
In the other results, Bluebaggers went HUGE in a round of poor scores to knock off Corkascrew whos 2030 was unlucky to not get 4 points on the board. Cunning Coyotes had just enouh left in the tank to power past Spinach. Mountalizians FC had no difficulty in defeating Don’t Dog LeBois. The match of the round was a humdinger of a fight with Team Pendles putting Engineticians in the sword during the last stanza of the encounter. Team Pendles good score of 2037 was just enough to take home the 4 points. Both teams have been competitive this year and will be hoping the form continues going forward.
In other results Bull Dust was too strong for Flying Fids winning by 127 points. Likewise Afghan Cameleers won by the exact same margin, but over MC’s Mix. Frogjumper was able to jump a little higher than The Sloane Ranger. Raging Marshmellow got a win with a low score of 1861 over a very disappointing Beef Tannen FC. Bloods won a high scoring affair over Milk Milk Lemonade. I have No Cluery scored strongly to easily dispatch Tigertuff. AENIMIST had a 101 point win over $Blues. In the match of the round The Abusement Park put on a clinic for the competition, showing all other teams what is will be required to be competitive this year. Both teams have been up and down so far this year and will need to develop a little bit more consistency to be able to be around the mark come years end.
In the other matches, Hammertown snuck a win past GDog by 17 points. . put on another good performance to knock off a poor FISKER FC. Lenneth won a high scoring encounter with The Inner Game. It was an utter demolishing by BlueBaggers this week. In a week that most people struggled he put up a huge 2234 which was 108 points clear of the next best from all leagues and more than 200 over the average score. Taking home the 15 points was . with a not too shabby 2126. Rounding out the top 3 was Lenneth with his 2108.

There was little change in the FF Medal leaderboard with Flying Fids holding his number 1 position for another week. Gdog is only half a point back, with $Blues sitting on the low step of the podium a futher 1 point back. Given the leader is only on 33.5 points 1 good week by any team will see them move well up the leaderboard.

The overall leaderboard has compacted in the last 2 weeks with Mcbasketball still holding a small lead over a strong chasing pack. Leading the chasers has been the consistent Terrifying Glue and ., but there is only 143 points separating 2nd and 10th.

In all my time as a Supercoach player, never have a seen a season where there has been so much concern about rookies, underperforming & overperforming premiums, must have midpricers and crazy SC scaling, both good and bad. Just hold a thought that all of this is happening BEFORE the byes, where in previous years issues do not start rearing its ugly head until after the byes are completed.

Match of the Round â€" SCHILLACI vs Brainparts
The match of the round lived up to its billing with both teams producing scores that would have been worthy of the win. SCHILLACI 2049 was not enough to eclipse Brainpharts 2102. Brainpharts will be breathing a sigh of relief after last weeks very poor performance didn’t destroy the confidence of his team, while SCHILLACI was unable to string together a second string.
In the other results, Bored Saints was part of a competitive match with bics best ultimately taking home the points and pushing bics best into a losing streak he will be desperate to break. Tiger of Old pulled out a 2106 to be too strong for Peptides FC. Mcbasketball won another very competitive fixture with Jive Turkeys by a huge 16 points. Stubbsy’s Heroes put down a big market to knock out Big Tonka, while Terrifying Glue went even larger to have a percentage boosting win over Don’t Dog Lebois. Cunning Coyotes snuck his snout past the post first against bombers rule in a very low scoring affair 150-200 points lower than most other scores. Mountalizinas FC’s roar was too scary for BlueBaggers scaring him off early in the match. Corkascrew won an epic with Spinach continuing the rivalry seen in other seasons.

Match of the Round â€" Frogjumper vs Bull Dust
In the Match of the Round Bull Dust was just too strong for a underperforming Frogjumper. Bull Dust continues to prove why he was a favourite at the start of the year and will likely be around the mark come the post season. While rumour has it that Frogjumper is considering wholesale changes for this week in an attempt to put pressure on the leaders of the club to perform on field and not just in the pub.
In other results Engineticians justified his spot on at the pinnacle of the league with a big win over fellow contender Flying Fids. MC’s Mix hd no issue in taking out Team Pendles. Beef Tannen FC came up against a poor Afghan Cameleers and put him to the sword, then drove it in with a mace. Milk Milk Lemonade bounced back to form with a strong win over The Sloane Ranger. I have no Clurey had his eyes firmly set on Raging Marshmellow taking the 4 points before his trip to China. $Blues took advantage of plaing on his home turf with a big win over Bloods. Ringo’s Rocky Road was never worried by Tigertuff who had a league low 1810. AENIMIST was the lucky winner being the only team to score sub 2k who managed to get the 4 points.

In the match of the round Lenneth continues his run of wins with a 81 point vicotyr over Hammertown. Both teams are feeling confident about the way the season is progressing and their chances at finals and top 4. Continued good form and the right choices are going to be crucial in a league that appears very much wide open.
In the other matches, GDog got over the loss to Hammertown quickly taking apart . whos team has been performing admirably over the recent weeks. FISKER FC account for FIGJAM in the Capital F Cup. The Flaming Goats smashed a very poor The Inner Game. Ka-Boom took a 60 point win in his stride leaving Nolittleblackbook in his wake. KickaKrowy put another win on the board in a high scoring affair against an unlucky The Abusement Park. DMCC XXII put Shanes Shakers through the Ringer with a 38 point win. DazCats token win was turned on its head with a massive 215 point loss to Echuca flyer, is this the season turned around? SydneyRox is now on a roll with a win over Ellis inWonderland, who can stop him.

Terrifying Glue has taken the top prize for the second time this year, just proving once again that is clearly the team to beat overall. If he can get a bit more consistency he will be very very hard to knock off the top spot. Coming in 2nd was echuca flyer, yes you read that right, echuca flyer. The 15 points is a welcome surprise for the team that everyone was marking down as a gimmee win. Rounding out the top 3 was Engineticians only 1 point off second who appeared in the top 10 for the 3rd time in 7 rounds, a great achievement in its own right.

With poor scores continuing for another week and with morale at an all time low in the Supercoach community it was the perfect time to announce huge changes to the league, bringing with it renewed vigor to many teams struggling with getting up for a match each week. Prize Money & Reputation is now at stake, ultimate bragging rights will be there for one and all, and for the first time you will be able to compete directly across leagues with a Knockout and team based competition.
The changes are still being developed and built into the league system and will be released progressively over the coming week or 2.

In the Match of the Round Stubbsy’s Heroes continued to put forward a strong foot with an easy win over SCHILLACI. His performances so far this year have got every team in a position that they are wanting to avoid a matchup. While SCHILLACI cannot string any consistency together and unless he can gain this we won’t be a contender come years end.
In other matches Mountalizians FC went big to smash fellow perennial Div 1 team Corkascrew, bombers rule put up a good score to push Spinach into the Losers doldrums. BlueBaggers put up a huge 2369 to push the most terrifying team in the league â€" Terrifying Glue to a loss even with his strong 2248.Cunning Coyotes also broke the 2300 mark to get another win, this time over Big Tonka. Jive Turkeys kept the streak of 2300s going for another easy win. With all the big scores Mcbasketball is thanking his lucky stars after getting a win over Tiger of Old with on 2058. Bored Saints put up 62 points more than Brainpharts who’s 2000 meant all teams got into the 2k zone. Bics Best took home the chocolates over Peptides FC who is comtemplating trying some pills for the huge match next week.

Match of the Round â€" Ringos Rocky Road vs Raging Marshmellow
In the match of the round Raging Marshmellow smashed out a huge 2323 to put Ringo’s Rocky Road down by a massive 260 points. The loss has RRR hanging onto a top 8 position by the skin of his teeth while Raging Marshmellow has him well and truly in the mix of a top 4 position, tied with 7 other teams on 16 points.
In other matches Engineticians was just that little bit too strong for MC’s Mix, Flying Fids almost got run down by a fast finishing Frogjumper, but managed to just hold on by 3 points. Beef Tannen got lucky getting the win in a low scoring encounter with Team Pendles. Milk Milk Lemonade was hyped up on the lemonade leaving Bull Dust in the Dust. I have No Clurey somehow got the 4 points with a relatively paltry 1969, he would have lost to 7 of the other losers, so a big 4 points gained. $Blues put The Sloane Ranger down after posting a strong 2267. Bloods enjoyed his encounter with Koop’s Kickas running out the winner by 56 points, Tigertuff toughed out a deserved 18 point win over AENIMIST.

In the overall points Terrifying Glue’s consistency has started to put together a small gap between himself and the rest of the field. Engineticians is the team in second 121 points behind. This is the final week to make adjustments to your team before the start of the bye rounds. Leagues have been solidly improving over the previous weeks with Div 1 now sitting at a brilliant 53 up from 227 in Round 6, Div 2 at a solid 173 up from 196 in round 6 and Div 3 in the duldrums at 605. The releasing of the Prize Money and reputation will be coming mid next week along with further details on the Knockout and Team comps.

Match of the Round â€" Peptides FC vs Brainpharts
In the Match of the Round, Peptides FC took advantage of the return and the sneaky cocktail he had before the game to return to the realm of higher scores putting up the 4th best score, 2340, this was to be too strong for Brainpharts who’s measly 2236 in comparison was still on par with most other teams. Peptides run doesn’t get any easier with a match against Stubbsy’s heroes, while Brainpharts is hosting Mcbasketball who is fresh off a win and looking to maintain his form.
In other matches Corkascrew is unable to catch a break with his large 2323 still falling short, this time against bombers rule and his even bigger 2334. In the psudo match of the round neither Terrifying Glue nor Mountalizians FC were able to hit the hype put on the match with Terrifying Glue running out a 17 point winner in one of the lower scoring matches, but closer matches for the week. BigTonka fought back from the disappointment of last week to smash Spinach. Jive Turkeys pulled out back to back 2300’s to account for Bluebaggers. SCHILLACI had too much juice in the tank to overcome Cunning Coyotes. Don’t Dog Le Bois got a much needed victory at the expense of Tiger of Old. Stubbsy’s Heroes got the token win over the pretty disappointing Bored Saints boosting his percentage nicely, while Mcbasketball won an epic by 7 points over bics best.

In the match of the round MC’s Mix put in an overtime shift to only just take out Beef Tannen FC by 32 points. Reversing the individual results from last week and keeping both in the major pack of players on either 3 or 4 wins. Every match is becoming ever more crucial as even 2 wins or losses in a row could be the defining factor between rising or dropping out of the top 8.
In other matches, Frogjumper bounced back from his heartbreaking loss to inflict his own heartbreaking loss onto Engineticians by 3 points. Milk Milk Lemonade took the 4 points off Flying Fids. Team Pendles banged out a 2302 to put I Have No Clurey back onto the pavement. Bull Dust got over his loss last week very quickly getting the win on the board. Afghan Cameleers rode his way to a victory over Ringos Rocky Road lifting himself away from the bottom 2. The Sloane Ranger kept in touch with a big win over Koops Kickass who is starting to struggle with the quality of the opponents. AENIMIST went huge to beat Raging Mashmellow. While Bloods easily accounted for Tigertuff who is looking like he will need a big improvement to avoid relegation.

Match of the Round â€" Echuca flyer vs DMCC XXII
In the match of the round DMCC XXII scored a paltry 2111 but was still able to get the 4 points thanks to his playing relegation Battler Echuca flyer. Echuca needs to make big strides and choices to be able to avoid the dreaded relegation which at this point in the season is looking a forgone conclusion. DMCC XXII on the other hand is an unknown quantity, he is able to win or lose any game this year.
In the other matches, FIGJAM put in a huge performance to knock off GDog and write the errors of last weeks 1 point loss. Lenneth wasn’t as unlucky this week managing to get a win on the board over The Flaming Goats. With the second highest score in the league for the week he is starting to show the quality to be a huge contender. . smashed ka-boom and his very poor score into the abyss, Hammertown beat KickaKrowy by 57 points in a must win encounter. FISKER FC continues to rack up the wins beating Shanes Shakers who is on an unwanted losing streak. The Inner Game smashed Daz Cats. Nolittleblackbook got another win on the board in a very low scoring encounter. While The Abusement Park had not issue in dispatching Ellis inWonderland.

What a close week we have witnessed with only 1 point separating the top 3 and 47 points separating 1st from 10th. Coming out on top was FIGJAM which saw him skyrocket in the FF Medal Leaderboard. Tying for second was Stubbsy’s Heroes and AENIMIST both picking up 12.5 points for the week. We once again saw Div 1 taking the lead with 7 of the top 10, Div 2 with 2 & Div 3 with 1 (Albeit the top spot)

Terrifying Glue continues his dominance over the chasing pack still holding a 88 point lead over Engineticians even though some of the gap was eradicated this week. The 400 point over 10th is starting to widen and putting those further back in a position where it will be a very uphill battle to have any chance to get towards the top of the leaderboard.

Seeds will be based on overall points from the CURRENT leaderboard (Round 11) to avoid R11 Bye affecting seeds
Top 10 Seeds will receive a BYE into Round 2
Each Knockout Match is based on a 2 round combined total score
The higher scoring team will move onto the next round
In the event of a draw the higher ranked team in overall points moves forward
A live draw will be broadcast in the topic on Tonight at 9pm AEST

I didn't include the Wins/Losses as that was too difficult, but the Participation, Winners & Awards were easy and believe that those that joined and played from the start deserved the reward for doing so.
It won't make a huge difference in the scheme of things when the store is released, won't spoil too much about that though.

The Byes are here and it is now best 18, so expect lower scores, more likely nearer the 1600-1800 mark this week. This is the time that the big boys make their moves overtaking those that have taken the eye off the ball and not planned correctly for the difficulties that the byes always bring, but keep in mind that we always see injuries in the second half of the year, so be frugal with the trades so not to be left too shorthanded at the end. From next week we will see the beginning of the knockout competition, R11 is not included due to the massive variance in the amount of player teams have and short notice on start date.

Match of the Round â€" Jive Turkeys vs Mountalizians FC
In the Match of the Round, Mountalizians FC won a cracker over Jive Turkeys. While the scores were not overly close both teams were on the edge of their seats until the last match waiting to see who would emerge victorious. This win comes after his close loss to Terrifying Glue and will be hoping this is the catalyst for a more consistent run of wins. Jive Turkeys on the other hand fell back into the pack after having 2 strong wins, the third was just a little too elusive to achieve.
In other matches Terrifying Glue won another match by a miniscule Margin with Corkascrew the unlucky opponent. The season isn’t working out well for him and doubt must be starting to creep in about his ability to stay up. Bombers Rule won once again with Big Tonka his mark this week. Will he continue against SCHILLACI whom got a strong Win over the underperforming Spinach who cannot buy a win at the moment. BlueBaggers took out his frustration from last weeks performance with a big with over Tiger Of Old. Cunning Coyotes Scored strongly to inflict the well known and formidable Bored Saints. Bics best had too much gas for Don’t Dog LeBois bouncing back from his 7 point loss last week. Stubbsy’s Heroes continued the Stubbsy’s Heroes Show now with cheerleaders making Peptides FC his first victim of the revamped version. While Brainpharts upset McBasketball in a match Mcbasketball would have chalked down in the W department.

Match of the Round â€" Beef Tannen FC vs Engineticians
In a huge match of the round Engineticians kept the top 4 very much a close race with a win over fellow contender Beef Tannen FC. With 1st and 13th only separated by 2 wins every matchup between 2 teams in that bunch has huge implications and is essentially 8 point battles. Add in the byes and we are in a period of huge importance.
In other matches, Frogjumper has started to roll along stringing together back to back wins putting the pressure onto Milk Milk Lemonade breaking his string of 3 straight wins. I have clurey put everything together to put up a mammoth 2486!!! Leaving Mc’s Mix with essentially no hope. Flying Fids was able to fly back into the winners circle heaping more pressure onto $Blues. Team Pendles smashed out a 2322 to leave Ringos Rocky Road licking his tasty wounds. Bull Dust likewise went large to beat the 17th placed Koop’s Kickas who would feel hard done by after putting together one of his better weeks. AENIMIST was too strong for Afghan Cameleers to keep himself in touch with the main group. The Sloane Ranger put Tigertuff into more pain, with the quality in the league it is going to be hard for him to make a comeback from his current position. Raging Marshmellow got a token win over Bloods who experienced the difficulties of what SuperCoach can throw at us, all in 1 week.

Match of the Round â€" Ka-Boom vs FIGJAM
In the Match of the Round. FIGJAM’S 2112 was somehow enough to get the win over a very poor Ka-Boom, whos 2030 was the 3rd lowest for the week. At the moment Div 3 is very wide open with teams performing strongly one week and then poorly the next, only a few are showing the consistency that is required at the higher levels and will need to pull the socks up if they want to take the next step.
In the other matches, The Flaming Goats put up a really good 2338 to beat and unlucky GDog who had the 5th highest score for the week by 51 points. Lenneth put together the second in a series of wins with a 24 point win over KickaKrowy. Shanes Shakers returned to his early season form taking out the high flying . in a top quality affair. DazCats recovered in time from his smashing last week to inflict a loss onto Hammertown. FISKER FC had no trouble in knocking Sydney Rox into the tar pit below. The Inner Game wasn’t able to back up his massive performance last week, but was still strong enough to get the 4 points off Ellis in Wonderland. Nolittleblackbook put in another good shift to put another dent into Echuca flyers armor. While The Abusement Park absed DMCC XXII into submission early with a 213 point percentage boosting win.

I Have No Clurey, is the only word on anyones lips this week with his mammoth 2486 finishing 98 points clear of the team in second and placing him is a very impressive 7th for the week. In addition it allowed him to take home the 25 points and eradicate a huge amount of the overall points deficit. Coming in second was Nolittleblackbook with a still impressive 2388 which on most weeks would have taken home the top gong. Rounding out the podium was Bull Dust 14 points back and only 2 points ahead of FISKER FC

FIGJAM has lost his podium position this week thanks to I Have no Clureys massive score and points haul. He moved from 17th up to 3rd in a single week, so it is possible for anyone to do that will a few good weeks. Terrifying Glue still leads the way unsurprisingly while BlueBaggers is sitting in second place.

Not a huge amount of change this week with most of the top teams holding sway and scoring fairly similarly. Terrifying Glue holds a 141 point lead over Engineticians with Stubbsy’s Herors roundsing out the top 3. There is then a further 149 points to Mcbasketball sitting in 3rd place. There is however a log jam of players just outside the top 10 and anyone with a good score could very easily valut themselves inside.

Rules
• Players will be broken up into 18 teams of 3 players
• Each Team will consist of 1 player from each division
• The PYOP boost purchasable from the league store will allow you to select a player from either of the other divisions to be in your team.
• Teams will be broken into 3 pools of 6 Teams and play off in a round robin style tournament over 5 rounds
• The 3 winning teams plus the best runner up will move into a 4 team round robin group for the ultimate prizes.
• Matches will start this week with Stage 1 from R16-20 & Stage 2 R21-R23
• Matches will be fought using the combined score from the team members
• 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss.

With only 4 teams with the bye this week most teams will have fairly strong lineups. With the top 18 scoring once expect scores in the much higher range for bye rounds. In the Match of the Round, SCHILLACI was way too strong for Bombers Rule coming home with a big 146 point win. The victory for SCHILLACI broke the win streak of Bombers Rule whom will still be confident about his potential for the season given the difficulty that the byes were expected to hold.
In other matches, Corkascrew finally got into the winners circle with a big win over the TruckAKABigTonka. Jive Turkeys took out the big dog Terrifying Glue in a high scoring affair. Tiger of Old rebounded from last week big loss to take out Mountalizians FC. Spinach had no trouble in dispatching the Bored Saints in what was a must win encounter. Bics Best smashed a clearly tanking BlueBaggers. Peptides FC was very impressive in his 19 point win over Cunning Coyotes. While Mcbasketball & Stubbsy’s Heroes put on a high scoring show for the fans with Mcbasketball coming out on top by 7 points, 1923 vs 1916.

Match of the Round â€" Bloods vs Afghan Cameleers
In the match of the round Afghan Cameleers gave his season the shot in the arm in needed with a big 170 point win over bloods. With both teams languishing in the bottom half this was a match that had implications on both the current leaderboard as well as the possibilities going forward.
In other matches, Milk Milk Lemonade returned to winning form with a 5 point win over the high flying and promotion candidate Engineticians. I have No Clurey has continued his strong run of form with another big win, this time over Beef Tannen FC. Frogjumper continued his run of wins taking out $Blues. MC’s Mix had too much kick in his curry for Ringos Rocky Road. Flying Fids kept Koops Kickas down in the mud and needing improvement. AENIMIST won a big mid table battle with Team Pendles. Bull Dust smashed the league easy beat TigerTuff who will need a miracle to avoid relegation. Raging Marshmellow keeps putting up good scores to down The Sloane Ranger by 30 points.

In the Match of the Round. The Abusement Park got his 4th win in a row after easily dispatching one of the other form teams Nolittleblackbook. The Abusement Park is striving to keep the momentum going and secure a top 4 post going into second half of the season. While Nolittleblackbook will need to bounce back next week or risk sliding down the ladder.
In the other matches, The Inner Game destroyed DMCC XXII like I destroy Cheesecake. Echuca flyer got the win over FISKER FC by 2 points who must be wondering how he let himself lose this match. Ellis inWonderland inflicted another loss onto Hammertown. . smashed out another win this time over SydneyRox putting himself back onto the winning column. DazCats continues to impress in his debut year with a huge win over Lenneth. Shanes Shakers put up back to back huge scores to smash the disappointing FIGJAM. The Flaming Goats put another loss into KickaKrowy’s closet. Gdog easily accounted for a disappointing Ka-Boom.

Don’t Dog LeBois pulled out his best result of the year with a big 1953 to take home the 25 points. Shanes Shakers was finished 15 points behind and duly got rewarded by 15 FF medal points. Mcbasketball continued his strong season with 3rd spot, while Stubbsy likewise finished in 4th. The was a fairly big margin between the top 4 and the rest however in total there was 221 players over 1800, a strong effort.

I have No Clurey continued his rise up the leaderboard moving into 2nd spot, still chasing down Terrifying Glue who holds a 5.5 point lead over the rest of the competition. Bluebaggers is still sitting in 3rd on a round tally of 50 points. With the relatively low points totals a good week or 2 can easily move you up the ladder, however consistency will be what will win it overall.

The gap at the top has closed slightly after the first bye round wth Terrifying Glue now only holding a 61 point advantage over the now second Stubbsy’s Heroes. Engineticians rounds out the podium a further 80 points back. There is little seperating most of the teams, so the byes are crucial to improving position and building a team that will let you move up the rankings.

There is only 1 round of the byes to go and then we return some level or normality back to the community, that is with more injuries, resting and Lyon like curveballs. Once again we have only 18 players scoring for our team, that is if you have 18 playing, for many people this was going to be the most difficult of the byes to cover given the popularity of the Collingwood, Freo, Hawks & Crows premiums, so if you can get 1800-1900 you should be in a reasonable position.

In the Match of the Round, Corkascrew put up a strong 1865, but it was not enough to take out Jive Turkeys and his 1932. Corkascrew will be fuming after his score was the 4th highest and would have beaten 6 of the other winners. Jive Turkeys on the other hand is estacic with his performace and rumours have it that he was drink driving like a champ on Monday. Luckly he was not caught and will not face suspension.
In other matches, SCILLACI smashed TruckAKABigTonka, the second big loss in consecutive weeks putting a huge dent in his confidence. Terrifying Glue immediately bounced back from his loss last week to teach Tiger of Old a lesson. Bombers Rule won a close one with Bored Saints. Mountlizians went huge to leave bics best with no chance. Spinach beat Peptides FC by 113 points in a low scoring affair. BlueBaggers put in a solid shift to leave BrainPharts on the turf. Mcbasketball pummelled league low scorer Cunning Coyotes. Don’t Dog Lebois got a much needed win over top 4 contender Styubby’s Heroes.

In the match of the round Engineticians was too strong in the battle of the heavyweights taking out I have no Clurey by a big 169 points. Equal to Engineticians current rank. Onomous warning to the rivals I wonder. I have No Clurey has already started planning his return to form needing a bounceback to keep in touch.
In other matches, Milk Milk Lemonade’s yoyo like season continues with a loss to $Blues in a fairly competitive matchup. Beef Tannen FC went large to down Ringo Rocky Road. Koop’s Kickass smashed the tanking Frogjumper. MC’s Mix had just a little bit more composure to take his chance in his match with AENIMIST. Tigertuff went into squecky bum time to sneak past Flying Fids by 1 point. Bloods was able to take advantage of a poor Team Pendles lineup. Bull Dust was too strong for Raging Marshmellow with The Sloane Ranger was the unlucky team running into the very strong Afghan Cameleers.

In the Match of the Round. SydneyRox never showed up to the races leaving FIGJAM to run home in a canter for the big 4 points. The 208 point victory is a very nice percentage booster for the FIGJAM side, while SydneyRox really needs to find some form.
In the other matches, Kickakrowy reversed the results of last week taking home the W and 4 points from Gdog. Ka-Boom went Ka-Boom putting out a insane 2029 to leave Shanes Shakers watching on in disbelief. DazCats pulled off another win this time of The Flaming Goats. Lenneth won a very high scoring close encounter with Ellis inWonderland by 3 points. . had no trouble in dispatching Echuca flyer, DMCC XXII got a 97 point victory oiver Hammertown. The Abusement Park went point for point with FISKER FC, but managed to just get over the line by 25. While The Inner Game needed all of his strong 1943 to take NoLittleBlackBook out by 60 points.

The Leaderboards
A crazy week with 3 teams tying for the final position on the posium. This is the first time we have ever had a 3 way tie in the top 10 in the 3 years of the competition. Ka-Boom was the standout performer and only team to break the 2k mark, a very strong effort. Mountalizians FC pulled out a great score to finish in 2nd, it was enough to rise him well up the overall medal leaderboard and will be one to watch on the run in. The 3 way tie is the most interesting with Afghan Cameleers, Engineticians & Beef Tannen FC all finishing with 1972 points meaning they split the points for the week.

There was very little change in the FF Medal Leaderboard with most of the tip sides unable to place this week. Terrifying Glue Still holds a slender lead over I have No Clurey. With Bluebaggers the only other team so far that has been able to break the 50 point barrier. With only 14.5 points separating 3rd from 10th it is still wide open and the best set up teams are in a good position to make a run come the end of the year. Mountalizians FC was the big mover pushing himself into a tie for 6th only 2.5 points away from 4th

Normal is the greatest enemy with regard to creating the new and that is what we have coming up with the ending of the byes. The way of getting around this is you have to understand normal not as reality, but just a construct. To do that, just think the world is not real, rather that it is just stories inside the minds of your competitors. Normal is you construct, and to the extent that you can see normal as a construct in Supercoach, if you can do this you have freed yourself from the constraints of thinking this is the way the world of Supercoach needs to be, stepping out of the ideals we have been drilled with, and take the risked needed to push to become an Supercoach immortal. One key ive learnt - don’t do Alcohol. For this week only there will not be a proper writeup as I am in struggle city, but here are the leaderboards and results etc.

After returning to some sense of normality last week with scores pushing back over the 2k mark and in quite a few peoples situation over the 2300 mark the community the feeling of dread is slowly starting to subside. In the Head to Head matches, Tiger of Old was too strong for Corkascrew in an important matchup. Bored Saints put his new Title to good use to go in the BINGO with SCHILLACI by 4 points. Jive Turkeys had no issue in getting the 4 points over Bics Best with a big win. TruckAKABigTonka rolled his way into an important win over Peptides FC. Terrifying Glue continued his dominante performances taking out Brainpharts. Mcbasketball put up a big score to demolish bombers rule. Stubbsy’s Heroes kept his top 4 hopes well in tact with a 140 point win over last seasons top scorer. Spinach never looked in trouble in his match with Don’t Dog LeBois. Blubaggers went over the top with a excessive 2488 to deflate Cunning Coyotes hopes of an upset win early.

In the Head to Head matches Ringos Rocky Road heaped more pressure onto overall points leader Engineticians inflicting another loss and leaving him 2 games outside the top 4. Koops kickas got an important win over $Blues to keep himself in with a chance. I have No Clurey continued his good mid to late season form with a win over AENIMIST. Milk Milk Lemonade kept Tigertuff rooted to the bottom of the ladder. Beef Tannen FC smashed bloods to stay in the top 4. Frogjumper won a high scoring ding dong battle with Raging Marshmellow in a big top 8 matchup. MC’s Mix went large to beat The Sloane Ranger. Flying Fids had no issues in dispatching an underperforming Afghan Cameleers. Bull Dust got yet another win this time over Team Pendles leaving him 3 games clear of 5th place and a double chance in finals.

In the head to head matches, Gdog was put under little duress in his big win over Daz Cats. SydneyRox got on the winners horse over Shanes Shakers and will be hoping to ride it through a few more stops. Ellis inWonderland got 4 points with a win over KickaKrowy. Ka-Boom smashed the continuing low scoring Echuca flyer. The Flaming Goats got an important win over DMCC XXII. FIGJAM broke one of The Abusement Park legs, will Kaboom break the other this week. Lenneth went huge to put a L into the column of Nolittleblackbook, whose 2315 would have won most matches in most leagues this week. . got yet another win to strengthen his title aspirations. FISKER FC put up 2320 to have no issue in defeating a valiant Hammertown.

With the return to normal scoring it wasn’t a surprise to see some massive scores come out of the wood works. Bluebaggers decided that there was no week better than this to make his move, pumping out a 2488 which was good for rank 50 overall for the week and 110 points higher than the next best across all leagues. Coming into second was Lenneth with a strong 2378 taking home the 15 points, while Spinach swaggered his way into 3rd spot and the 10 point haul.

And we now have a new FF Medal Leader with BlueBaggers taking over the mantle with his huge score moving from 3rd to 1st. There was almost no other movement for the week with several dozen teams well within striking distance if they are able to string several weeks of really good scoring in a row. We now only have 3 teams who have yet to register a point, Bored Saints, Brainpharts & The Sloane Ranger.

In the overall points we have had some big movement, While Stubbsy’s Heoroes was able to hold the lead the chasing pack has closed right up. Mcbasketball has jumped from 4th to 2nd, swapping places with Terrifying Glue who has been slowly sliding down the leaderboard. The Big movers through were MC’S Mix jumping from 9th to 5th and Bluebaggers from 16th to 6th. With only 400 points separating 1st and 10th further movement can only be expected from here on out.

Cross Division Team Competition
Rules
• Players will be broken up into 18 teams of 3 players
• Each Team will consist of 1 player from each division
• The PYOP boost purchasable from the league store will allow you to select a player from either of the other divisions to be in your team.
• Teams will be broken into 3 pools of 6 Teams and play off in a round robin style tournament over 5 rounds
• The 3 winning teams plus the best runner up will move into a 4 team round robin group for the ultimate prizes.
• Matches will start this week with Stage 1 from R16-20 & Stage 2 R21-R23
• Matches will be fought using the combined score from the team members
• 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss.
• If tied after round robin countback will be on head to head match between the tied teams followed by Points For
Rewards for each team member
Stage 1 Win - $3000 & 10 Rep
Stage 1 Qualifier - $10000 & 20 Rep
Stage 2 Win - $3000 & 10 Rep
Team Winner - $30000 & 50 Rep

Only the 1 at this stage. Splitting the cost will mean that it would be too easy to get the cost or majority of the cost back. While the gains should be from the other aspects, Rep, Titles, HoF etc.

With only 3 rounds of head to head matches left before byes we are getting into the most crucial part of the season. Double chances, promotion and relegation are all up for grabs. With byes dwindling, injuries and restings coming, being able to set yourself up to cover these will be crucial in separating yourself from the chasing pack, or holding off those on your heels.
The knockout competition is starting to heat up, with some teams not in contention for league wins performing above expectations, while some of the strong teams are still alive. Add in the start of the team competition last week and all players should have something to play for.

In the match of the round MC’s Mix continued to push his juggernaught and title ambitions forward taking out Flying Fids in a quality 24 point win. MC’s Mix hass a tough set of matches upcoming, but based on recent form he is going to tough to beat, while Flying Fids will need a quick bounce back to stay in contention
In other matches, AENIMIST pulled a big upset over Engineticians. Likewise Tigertuff did similar taking out Koop’s Kickas. Ringos Rocky Road came across a smooth patch taking it easy with a win over bloods. $Blues scored a league high 2481 to smash Raging Marshmellow by 228 points. I Have No Clurey kept the pressure on the leaders with a win over The Sloane Ranger. Milk Milk Lemonade scored an epic 2461 to keep the pressure on the top 8. In the match of the round Shanes Shakers kept his top 4 & promotion aspirations well and truly alive with an 11 point win over The Abusement Park. Both teams are still well and truly in the race going forward.
In other matches, Ellis inWonderland got a big win over Gdog in a high scoring encounter. SydneyRox got a crucial 4 points over the league low flyer Echuca flyer. DazCats smashed out a huge 2408 to easily account for DMCC XXII. KickaKrowy was too strong for Nolittleblackbook with the later being hit hard by poor scores and injuries/restings. There has been big changes in the leaderboards after 2 weeks of points added. 2 Weeks ago we saw Beef Tannen FC take out the top spot followed by Bored Saints & Mountalizians FC. This week however saw $Blues to huge to take home the 25 points, Milk Milk Lemonade and TruckAKABigTonka also put up big scores to fill out the podium.

Commeth the time, commeth the man. Who will stand up with only 2 rounds to go. Who will fall from a position of power and who will climb the ladder to take the spot. The fight for promotion is well and truly alive, while some of the relegation positions are all but sewn up, but more on that in a few weeks time.

In the Match of the Round, Spinach took the big scalp of early leader Terrifying Glue. The reversal in form as got to be a worry for Terrifying Glue who has been sliding down the ladders for a few weeks, while Spinach has been going for strength to strength and is putting himself in a position to be a dangerous player come finals time.
In other matches, Corkascrew bounced back from his tough loss last week to get over Peptides FC. Bics Best was too strong for Brainpharts putting up back to back wins. Bored Sains went huge once again exacting the hurt onto Mcbasketball. Stubbsy’s Heroes didn’t let the upset last week impact his composure easily taking out Tiger of Old. SCHILLACI was another to turn around a poor week to put up 4 points beating Don’t Dog Le Bois. Jive Turkeys got the easy win against Cunning Coyotes. TruckAKABigTonka came out on top in a high quality and important match with BlueBaggers. While Mountalizians FC has been showing in rcent weeks why he was the Top Scorer last year putting up a big score agains bombers rule.

The Match of the Round lived up to its billing with I Have No Clurey getting a 22 point win over Bull Dust in a very high scoring encounter. Both teams are primed to make appearances in finals, if not top 4 positions, and if they both keep putting up scores like these who knows it may have even been a precursor to the GF this year.
In other matches, Engineticians didn’t have any issues in putting up 4 points over Tigertuff. AENIMIST smashed relegation candidate Bloods. Koop’s Kickass returned to the winners circle with a 11 point win over Raging Marshmellow. Afghan Cameleers upset $blues to create some breathing room. In a turnup for the books Tiger of Old has stunned the community to turn around a deficit over the team currently sitting 2nd in the overall points. Given odds of 50:1 it was like turning back the time to show a herculean effort that rivalled the Tigers of Old. I have no CLurey will be feeling very hard done by having a score worthy of smashing the other 2 semi finalists, however that is how the ball falls.
In the final he will be facing Mountalizians FC who managed to hold onto his lead in the second leg despite being beaten 1990 to 2045.

The first week of the final went largely to plan with Tiger of Old continuing his late season form to open up a 105 point gap on Mountalizians FC. Will the Mountalizians be able to turn around a fairly hefty deficit, or will Tiger of Old continue to roar and take home the inaugural Knockout Title.

Boglan Terrier is snapping at the heels after a big win over JaFox whom after topping group 1 has been well off the pace in the last 2 weeks and rightly sits at the bottom of the ladder with 0 wins.

The first year of the knockout competition has been done and dusted with 54 teams battling it out to become the champion. Emerging from the battlefield after the dust settled was Tiger of Old. A brilliant effort given his unseeded status and tough run throughout. Victory’s over Bored Saints by 2 Points, EllisinWonderland by 27 points, Jive Turkeys by 6 points, Spinach by 182 points, I have no Clurey by 19 points led him into the final where he had his biggest victory of the campaign a massive 204 point smashing.
Mountalizians will be happy with his efforts to reach the final with his match against Beef Tannen FC in the Semi-final being his only real challenge and risk of loss. Overall though he just did not have the endurance to be able to play with a very fast finishing Tiger of Old.

Perhaps unsurprisingly Ori Pei was too strong for JaFox taking home the victory and in turn the title of Team Champions for 2017. The team of Stubbsy’s Heroes, $Blues & FIGJAM were too strong overall for all rivals going undefeated in the final round of the competition. This left the other match playing off for 2nd position. Coming out on top was Muggin with a hard fought 23 point victory in what was a fairly high scoring encounter.

The fat lady has sung, but not is all done. We are still to know who our champions are, who will be relegated and who will be fighting in the next calibre of league next year. You can commit for next year from now in the relevant thread to allow for easier creation and filling than last year.
As someone said once a time, “The proof is in the puddingâ€, and that is exactly how the league quality and rankings panned out. While slightly down on last years rankings, both Div 1 & Div 2 had periods where they were on track to finish with improvements. Division 1 finished a respectable 69th however were sitting top 40 with only 4-5 rounds to go, brought down by a few very very poor finishing players. Division 2 came in just outside the top 100 in 105th place, but likewise were sitting top 70 with only 5-6 rounds to go. While Division 3 finished in 476th spot in its debut year, it has shown plenty of room for improvement, but has unearthed a few stars of the future.
Before we get into the division formalities I would once again like to take this chance to congratulate Tiger of Old on his knockout competition victory and Ori Pei on taking out the team competition. I will be taking suggestions on themes for the Team Names next year, currently thinking Old Gods, Alcoholic Shots, Worst Ever Movie Titles, Feel free to join in on the suggestions.
Division 1
Major Final
In the major final Stubbsy’s Heroes finished off the year strongly with a impressive victory over the knockout champion Tiger of Old. It was a just reward for the overall point winner to also take home the Division 1 title. Speaking after the match Stubbsy’s Heroes stated that “It was a relief to get the monkey off the back and take home the title. It is a strange feeling to be relieve and ecstatic at the same time, but it is one I wouldn’t trade for the worldâ€. His opponent Tiger of Old was clearly distraught choking back tears in his press conference, but still had enough humility to congratulate Stubbsy’s and make a promise that he will be bigger and better next year.
Minor Final
In the minor final TruckAKABigTonka went massive to comfortably defeat previous FF Medal winner Bored Saints. While the minor final is a frustrating win, it is proof that you are not out of your depth. Both teams have been consistent Div 1 performers and will be looking to push claims higher up the ladder next year. The official press release from the loser has officially questioned whether Big Tonka was doping prior to the final given his excessive score, however given the strict stance on speaking out in public Bored Saints has been fined $40,000. Hitting back at the claims Big Tonka has 4 words for his opponent “Suck it up Buttercupâ€
Division 2
Major Final
In the major final, I have No Clurey put the disappointment of coming runner up in other comps to sneak the win past $Blues in the closing stages of the game. In a fairly even matchup the 2 teams traded blow for blow with both having sustained periods of pressure. However neither were able to break the other until the end where I Have No Clurey sat slightly ahead at the final siren. His celebration was one for the ages

Minor Final
In the minor final Ringos Rocky Road put some of the disappointment surrounding his season to bed with a strong victory of Flying Fids. Both teams at the start of the year would have been hoping to be in the reckoning for promotion, however neither managed to hit that height. Given the strength of the competition taking home any title though is certainly an achievement. While the match was far from bland and boring the standout highlight was the sweets entrance walkway for Ringo’s Rocky Road, ending with a giant Rocky Road that was shared with the fans. I clear plan to gain the neutral fans support, and given the result we must say it worked.
Division 3
Major Final
In the Major Final EllisinWonderland was lucky to get the victory over Lenneth in a low scoring but tightly fought contest. The adage that you only have to beat what you have to face was true and Ellis inWonderland did just enough to put that W in his column, taking home the trophy in the process. Lenneth must be kicking himself after letting a very winnable matchup and promotion slip through his fingers. He has definetly proven himself as one to watch for the future though.
Minor Final
In the Minor Final Hammertown cantered into the title leaving The Inner Game to pick up the scraps at the runners up position. While Both teams showed glimpses throughout the year, neither really put enough pressure on. Both will take a lot out of this season, none less that understanding the level that is required to perform and take that next step.

Finishing off the year on a high was TruckAKABigTonka pulling out a huge score to smash all rivals and take home the 25 points and put himself into the top 10 for the year. Coming in second was echuca flyer, this rookie struggled for most of the year, but showed at times that he had enough quality to pull in some big scores. Rounding out the top 3 was Stubbsy’s Heroes who put another 10 points into the kitty, very strong performances once again from this Div 1 stalwart.

It was a big surprise to the FF community that the FF Medal champion was BlueBaggers in a very tightly run contest. Struggling at times throughout the year he was rarely seen in the top 10, but when he was it was right at the top, putting in big scores when required. The consistency of I Have No Clurey, Stubbsy’s Heroes and $ Blues, just wasn’t enough to pull back the frontrunner.

Unlike the FF medal, the overall points was fought out between 2 teams, who put a gap on the rest of the teams early and never looked back. Stubbsy’s Heroes was the one with the upper hand come the end of the season taking home the crown with a 154 point gap over division 2’s I have No Clurey. While he didn’t manage to take home any of the big inter division crowns he proved enough to get the promotion to compete in the top division next year.

Thank You for all your work on this LS. Great work but just remember do not jeopardise work to keep the weekly updates going. Sure most will agree that we can wait for the write ups.

I dont write during work as thats not right, will never do that. Most is done at lunch/evening, but when its too busy i just need down time.

Did not mean to give the impression you used work time as that was not my intention. So to clarify as you have said due to work pressures at times you just need to chill and I am sure we all respect that and are willing to let the write ups go when required. Do not let pressures build up to the extent that it effects work is what I am trying to say.

Yeah i know mate. Work always comes first, then life, then hobbies.
Its the same with the profiles, when ij have time ill write them, but never jeopardise work or life.

KO Competition - 3rd (Beaten by 19 points over two weeks)
FF Medal Leaderboard - 2nd (By half a fricken point!!!)
Overall Points - 2nd
Div 2 League - 2nd
Div 2 Finals - Champion! (By 12 points)
I do feel sorry for $Blues, we were actually matched up in 3 league finals this year, and our 12 point difference meant I got up in all 3 of them :o
Nice season LS, looking forward to 2018 :)
