First Rolling Lockout starts: Friday, Feb 3, 7.45 pm EDT , lockout ends at the end of the Friday night game.

Second Rolling Lockout starts: Saturday, Feb 4, 4.35 pm EDT , lockout ends at the end of the Saturday night games.

Third Rolling Lockout starts: Sunday , Feb 5, 5.05 pm EDT

I allowed a rolling lockout so people can change their teams if they should lose a couple of players. I did not allow a rolling lockout to flower other people over. You can run the comp from now on  ;)

What's with the .."and against Jakarta too" comment about? you didn't know who you were playing? find it hard to believe. Was it meant to make it look like if it was against you it wouldn't have bothered you?

Is that why Levi passed your position changes? behind my back. Are you actually the same person? or is it your little sister or girlfriend? maybe.

I allowed a rolling lockout so people could change their teams if they lost a few before the game as we did not know how exactly everything would roll. I cant believe someone would try to use a dodgy loophole against the person who offered to give up their time to run the comp. In the previous comps I was in the loophole is banned. The loophole is banned in WXVW as well.

In my experience, unless something is explicitly outlawed, it's generally permissible. I don't see the issue here.

And I speak as someone who absolutely hates the idea and practice of loopholing.

I hate loopholing with a passion, when I ran AXVIII DT it was in the rules ..it was banned, yes it's not in the rules here. Is there a XV comp on FanFooty that allows the loophole?

In my head I had the idea of a rolling lockout to help people out, I didn't think they would take advantage of it. I would never do that to someone on here. The fact that it's being used against me when I am giving up a crap load of my time doing scores and teams is just disgusting.

For me it's not just this issue either, generally there is a lack of respect from certain members, this makes me thing why the flower would I want to run this. Can anybody see my point of view.

Tbh- if no XV comps allow loopholes then as WXVW is based on the other XVs, it's reasonable to assume we don't do loopholes either.

THAT BEING SAID, it wasn't clearly stipulated that it was for late outs. It's dodgy and it's not something I would personally do and it's something I'd prefer to be removed from the game for the remaining rounds, but I think it should stand tbh.

Also Zip I agree that loophole's shouldn't be there for normal weeks. In the event of a Thursday/Monday then possibly(same as WXV). Although I don't think AFLW has any such cases.

I simply used the loophole because it was there and available.

There we have it!

The first round of WXVW is officially in the books!

Great coaching, rage quits, captaincy miscues and close games! That is the story of WXVW Round 1. Every single game was close, all of which were within 100 points.

Karachi in the end, proved not at a disadvantage despite their captain not playing. Elise O'Dea with an epic performance in the last game of the round to seal the victory. Port Moresby had a huge game by captain Randall but just didn't get the contributions from their lesser know players. 3 scores under 20 will leave Coach Boomz asking what if? I can't wait to see how big Karachi go when they get Swanson on the field!

Game of the round between Rome and Algeria! Daisy Pearce! Take a bow! She proved why she is the best. Algeria needed her to pull out a big score and she did just that! 176 as captain got them over the line by just 11 in a critical win. Rome's midfield looks menacing but will need Moana Hope to lift if they are to challenge for the flag. Algeria have the best player in the game and that alone will make them competitive.

Lima is another with a high powered midfield and they showed it off in this game. Jakarta were a bit all over the place with some very high scores combined with some of the lowest of the week! However, Jakarta leaving too many points on the emergency bench cost them this win. Jakarta will be a team no one wants to face as they seem to have a very high ceiling. Lima have guns on every line and look to be a very rounded outfit. They'll be very tough to beat, let alone at home.

Coach Levi caused a stir when Bogota Superstar Katie Brennan pulled the top score of the week with 91 as Levi took her VC. The coach of Barcelona was so frustrated with Katie's performance that he got up and quit mid match! Wowee! Bogota look to have the fire power on every line, especially if their other forwards get it going. Whilst Barcalona have been left without a coach. The girls are very disappointed with their former coaches actions with many stating that: "the ex-coach let the team, the players, the competition, the AFLW, the website and most importantly the other coaches down." All that aside, Barca have a very good team that any coach would like to have.

Can't believe we wasted pick 2 on Hope haha.

Good scores first week though, comp looks even!

Satisfied with what I saw this week, was never going to name the perfect side, but it is great to see plenty perform so well!
If we can get our best side on the park from now on we should be very competitive.
And good to see an even competition to this point!
