So it would appear that as Magic and Owls did not de-list any players they will not be able to take part in drafts and all their picks will be passed. Will confirm in due course.

You had over 3 months to make delistings. In WXVs we technically couldn't delist until a couple days ago or whatever.

Teams are still making delistings and giving contracts to players in the AFL, so it doesn't make any sense to cut it off so quickly.
I'd hope some leniency is involved, for both Vin and I.
We've always had the delistings before the draft, gives a certain risk to keeping players on your list who have been delisted, in the hope that they get picked up. For example, I purposely chose to keep Adam Marcon and Clay Cameron. Last year I did the same with Sam Grimley.

+1 Taken the risk myself with B McKenzie. Just might mean a list of 44 active if not picked up. Revoked him prior to the cut of point last night as per the rules.

You couldn't. Nothing changed.
Key Dates are published for a reason so that all coaches know relative deadlines. If you choose not to read and follow that is your prerogative but you will bear the consequences.
De-Listings have always been required prior to Draft to introduce some risk as has been spelt out by a couple of coaches.
So unfortunately both Owls and Magic will not be able to take part in the draft as their playing rosters are filled all be it with some de-listed/retired players.
Sounds like the correct decision Ringo, there's really no excuses when we've had so long.
So we are punishing someone who has been one of the more active coaches throughout the season, and has a single oversight in the offseason?
I'd be lying if I wasn't disappointed, we aren't playing for sheep stations here and this just seems like a punishment for the sake of punishments.
You making mistakes isn't unprecedented though.
Not to mention you were begging for a top 5 pick literally days ago. Your activity is partially why you're being punished. Less active coaches have made their delistings.
The admin isn't gonna bend the rules for your incompetence.
And why should they when every other team apart from 2 managed to do their delistings on time

My activity should show that it isn't incompetence, it's an oversight because I've done everything else required in all the other competitions I've participated in.

i say do a vote let coaches decide on torps fate i think its stiff not very good for the comp either

There has been 11 weeks to delist players and that should be sufficient even allowing for exams.
Remember British has some different rules to Worlds and other xv's so as to not be the same and this one has been in force for 5 years as to when players are to be de-listed.

I rechecked my list again yesterday to finalise mine and today looked again realising I've missed a player,so now I have to wear that and so does anyone else that has done it or just not done any at all

Only in 2015/16 & this period have we been held back to the National Draft to do delistings, back in the 14/15 offseason we were given until the Rookie Draft.
Either way I understand the consequences, just disappointed because personally I'd have shown leniency in this particular situation to a fellow coach.
Rookie draft now is done earlier hence why the decision is made. Rookie Draft is on Monday 28th November. So we need to have both the National and Rookie Draft orders sorted before the draft.

I did a lot on my phone and could have very easily missed someone! I think I got everything though, and team list by position thread
should be up to date now as well.
All delistings should be updated in UF except for the Breakers, as for some reason UF only let me delist Josh Prudden... :P

Unfortunately you'll be stuck with them for the season, sorry mate. Couple other coaches have already said they missed one or two delistings but are copping it (or hoping they get picked up in the rookie), and obviously after Torp and Vinny didn't make any delistings, we have to be consistent here :)
meh - i held nick obrien for a year and didnt even know he wasnt playing, so not too fussed.
My bad, been so out of it lately cause of exams. Rules are rules though! Just came on and looked through all XV threads cause of the draft.
