I am unsure whether we can use the main thread for this or not. But hell let's leave it here.

I haven't taken PC seriously in a very long time (financial difficulties to have a big squad :( ). I may make it to round 2 with some luck, so sorry can't see you in Round 5 Torpy :(.

punjabii    Off the Radar
Batting - Top Order    8,405    10,388
Batting - Middle Order    7,636    7,000
Batting - Tail    4,697    3,524
Bowling - Seam    9,248 (40)    9,775 (40)
Bowling - Spin    6,462 (10)    10,207 (10)
Fielding/Keeping    6,070    12,193
Overall    139,920    166,016

208 run win. Got 210th seed in Round 2. And a possibility of a Rd 3 match with Daz would be on if I pulled off an upset!

Will be about 15k underdogs if we both go full strength. I'll probably try to rate about 175-180k.

Didn't think I was ever in with a chance at everything is going to script.

Bowled out for 224 with Tushar Khadim contributing 98 to that.

Now attempting to bowl him out. My new boy Vijay Bishop just got the first wicket. Opponent is 40-1 off 9 needing 185 off 41 overs at 4.51.

Looking forward to reesbr shield game next Sunday against BB67th if he too gets knocked out.  :P

Edit: Opp needs 56 off 14 overs. He's currently 169-3. I'd like to believe I can miraculously bowl him out.

Well, I'm out.

Lost by 6 wickets in the end. Surprisingly only got outrated by 9k, I thought it'd be worse.

Aussie Coyotes out in round 2.
Obviously blooding 4 youths in Rd2 is at least 1 too many ;D

Twas a long shot anyway and at least some Exp was gained.

That makes it even more unfortunate. I knew if I won that game then I'd be a good chance to beat you and make Rd 4 :(

Through to Round 5. It will be my 6th match in Round 5, I've never won a Rd 5 match before. This time I'm playing a team ranked lower than me and should rate less than me, I'm at home with every pitch available to choose from (Sitting on Flat so I can go either way), he's got some fatigue problems, he doesn't log in between 1:30 and 5:00 so I can even make the last minute pitch change.

This is entirely in my hands so I better not flower it up this time.

Uneven. Been on Green since Wednesday and as I said above he shouldn't be online to catch the change :-\ However Green -> Uneven would be the one pitch change you wouldn't mind missing it's not the biggest difference.

Got some fatigue problems (1 AR and Keeper on passable). Thought about playing the 2nd keeper (20yo) but noooooooo, I'm winning this game and Maloney can rest until next Sunday as I have a lucky Friday draw and can play the backup keeper then.

Just got to win now....

    PowerBugCC    Chingford Warriors
Batting - Top Order    12,149    8,287
Batting - Middle Order    10,542    3,565
Batting - Tail    5,245    3,509
Bowling - Seam    11,574 (40)    8,147 (40)
Bowling - Spin    13,128 (10)    2,783 (10)
Fielding/Keeping    14,529    9,643

Should've played the younger keeper. But really, I shouldn't be complaining. Round 6!!!

Away and will be the underdog this weekend though. I think I will struggle to win this one. :(

Cloudy/Slow -> Windy/Dry

Not liking that change. If it ends at Cloudy/Crumbling I might not feel too bad though.

Title: Re: Pavilion Cup
Post by: PowerBug on December 20, 2015, 12:03:22 AM
Barring a late pitch change, it's going to be rfm AR, rfm AR, rws, rfs, rfs as my 5 bowlers. Then Seam Spec, Acc, Seam Spec, BH, Safe Hands, BH for my top 6.

Pleeeeeeeease work
Title: Re: Pavilion Cup
Post by: PowerBug on December 20, 2015, 06:13:20 PM
H. Roach (rfm) 9-1-38-1, K. Konchady 10 (13b), P. Lockie 32 (57b)
End of over 33 (6 runs) - Delhi DareWhackers(134-6) RR 4.06

Going okay and Konchady is part of the tail (avg bat). Got to get wickets and clean this up under 200.

His keeper that is also batting, Lockie, is outs/spec/excep but has only average fielding, interesting.

Did someone say Round 7?? Yeewwwwwwwww :D :D

   Delhi DareWhackers    PowerBugCC
Batting - Top Order    11,955    12,244
Batting - Middle Order    11,141    11,140
Batting - Tail    5,028    4,761
Bowling - Seam    12,570 (20)    11,046 (20)
Bowling - Spin    13,379 (30)    12,971 (30)
Fielding/Keeping    14,173    15,089
Overall    215,267    214,093

5 wicket win :D

Expecting to be outrated by about 15k next week though, will need to dig deep to go another step.

Awesome stuff PB! That's a huge win, as I remember when they were the Powerhouses of FTP :o :o.

15k is workable for an upset when in that range, but gotta make sure you go full strength, and hopefully with players that aren't fatigued much! Cause can only imagine how they're going atm.

I still want to win Friday so might have a few guys on revived but no one should be worse than that. Got enough players to play there so that the right guys are available.

Fangman has called heads correctly and has decided to bowl. Dingo Town will start their innings shortly.

So my opponent has gone in with one of each bowling type, whilst I have two fms and no medium. But by going that way I have the extra All Rounder which he does not have, someone who would would have no more than Reasonable batting coming in at number 8.

http://www.fromthepavilion.org/scorecard.htm?gameId=3458208
There's a link if anyone is interested.

So far in the games that have finished today all the teams batting first have won, and I generally like to bat first but have been doing the job chasing so far this season, so backing myself to do that again today.

A. Sandipa (rf) 8-0-30-1, S. Donovan 15 (27b), A. Kelly 66 (122b)
End of over 35 (6 runs) - Dingo Town(128-2) RR 3.66

At this point was not looking great, had dropped Kelly twice. But the runs weren't being scored and I knew a collapse was possible. And now...

B. Austin (rws) 7-0-26-1, B. Dragoncheeks 3 (3b), C. Fitzpatrick 2 (3b)
End of over 38 (4 runs) - Dingo Town(141-4) RR 3.71

My guys not given up just yet. Roach superb so far 6-1-14-1.

Well it could've gone one of two ways, and it went the wrong way for me

H. Roach (rfm) 10-1-31-2, J. Williamson 24 (17b), J. Woodwinder 13 (10b)
End of over 50 (5 runs) - Dingo Town(226-6) RR 4.52

Would be a huge effort to get up from here and against his bowlers I can't see it happening.

Fielding/Keeping 15,163 15,342
Overall 232,260 218,042
