Welcome to the Inaugural Season of our new competition
The Ossie Cup
This Cup is rightly named after Ossie who spends hours on Fan Footy making this the terrific forum it is today.
The forefront of his work is The Elxam Competition which is eagerly contested each year by many coaches .
It is the highest rated competition on Fan Footy.
This new competition challenges the Fantasy football coaches who play all three formats.
Supercoach , Real Dream Team snd AFL Fantasy.
24 Coaches will join a group in each format playing each other once.
Points are allocated each round in all formats as follows .
- The highest scorer each round will receive 24 points ,
2nd highest 23 , 3rd highest 22 and so on.
- The highest scorer each round in each format will receive 1
bonus point.
- The winner of each head to head match in all 3 formats will
receive 1 point for each win.
Played across all 3 formats , the coach with the highest points after the home and away season will be declared the winner of The Ossie Cup.

Why not instead of Divisions you make one group for each comp, that way you arent chasing players for leagues
Also AF in leagues of 16 (unless you have premium) whilst Supercoach and RDT is 18

Great to have you involved mate.
I know the slight complications with league sizes in AF but I would like to try it this wsy as it involves H2H results.
I always buy the premium or gold what ever they call it and you never know they might go back to std 18 coaches in a league.
We will only have 2 divs and will require someone in the initial Div 2 to have premium.
We will wait and see on this.

We are getting close now to format opening day.
After doing some thinking my thoughts are now to run The Ossie Cup in GROUP style now.
This will allow 24 coaches to compete and free up league availability.
Each coach will play each other once throughout the home and away season in each format receiving 1 point for each win.
Everything else will stay the same.
If you could all post your acknowledgement here of this change.

Not alone there GL did not even break 2k in AF where i am ranked 28875, scored 2021 in DT ranked 5596 and 2071 in SC ranking me 62758. Do you know how hard it is not to rage trade in SC and DT, The one consolation is plenty of upside think from memory one year we had a Top 10 finisher in SC come from as far back at 75k.
