Purple77 has relinquished the head coaching position with the Hasting Hurricanes in British XV competition mainly due to the extra work load he has as Administrator in World XV.
Accordingly I am now calling for applications for the Head coaching position of Hastings Hurricanes. You will inherit a strong list as Hurricanes made the preliminary finals this year, Please submit application in this thread stating your experience on the forum. what you see as strengths and weaknesses of team and your direction and goals for the team.

The temptation to apply for the team that I gave up ownership of because of Yr 12 (only reason) is vey huge.
Sportal was my 2nd favourite scoring system. Why don't you guys use the same scoring system as before? All the stats are easily copied from the AFL site and a little bit of spreadsheet work would take care of it in a flash.
If nobody applies I'd be happy to take over.

Hi, Im iZander
Im relatively new to using the Fanfooty forums so i don't have much experience, but I guess we have to start somewhere right? However, I love my fantasy football and I wish i had of known about these competitions before this year (a mate told me). Im currently ranked in the 1600s in AF. I would be an extremely active member, logging on several times everyday.
As for the team, this looks like a very strong list and its no surprise they made it to the preliminary finals. If i were to inherit this team my aim would be to go for the flag. The team looks relatively strong all around however, the back line strikes me as particularly strong, with several young guns as well! Id probably look to strengthen the forward line up a bit as I feel its the weakest part of the team.

Hey guys,
My name is Atto and I am currently the head coaches for Dallas Coyotes in Americas XVIII DT and the Swedish Metal in EXV and have been for about a year now. These are both DT competitions but I am looking to expand my Football Fantasy knowledge by doing other scoring competitions. I will be purely focusing on FF Fourm leagues next year as opposed to doing the salary cap games.
Just looking at it briefly it is a very good team but it is also a bit heavy on the ageing players side of things. I think the obvious thing to do is to maintain the standard this team is producing while dropping the average age of the Hurricanes. I will know more once I do an in-depth analysis of this team (as I do with all my teams).
By the way, fellow Sacred Heart graduate Cory Gregson is in it so that's a positive haha

Also, when you say Sacred Heart, I just think of the girls college that I know :-X. (I figured you two went to a different one which isn't just girls :P ).

Since iZander didn't get the job at WXV (which I honestly thought he would get), and I was just made co-admin at Americas XVIII DT, I think it would be best to not put too much on my plate and give iZander the Hurricanes especially since I have two teams and he has none (to my knowledge anyway).
So congrats iZander on getting the gig.
