It's back! For those that don't know how this works, basically we will finish with a team full of the best players from FanFooty teams.

The rules are written below:
- Must have had the player in your side for at least 2 seasons (That is, to make things easy, bought on or before May 31st 2014)
- Must have the player(s) skills revealed.

To make sure that the polls don't get out of hand, I will be capping AR and Keeper polls to 5, Bowler polls to 10, and Batsman polls to 15. If there are extra nominations I will decide who makes the final cut, unless it seems difficult to split.

Also, you are encouraged to NOT vote for your own player(s)

I will open up threads for nominations now, they will all be run at the same time, nominations will close on Boxing Day, and on the 27th voting will open. Voting will remain open until New Years Day. Anyone can vote, so even if your players are not good enough, take a look at those involved and chuck a vote to those you think are the best.

We may also be required to create a 5th bowler/12th man poll depending again on the type of players that are brought forward.

like if between us we have 20 people with like excep/excep with spec field spec endo and spec power

I'm not sure what the standard will be, so I'm leaving that open for now. Spec/Spec might be good enough once you consider the two season rule.


And I just thought I'd clarify something also. I said 31st of May or before because the season ended on like the 27th/28th or so, but since by the time we get through it all it'll be 2 weeks into the season. I just had a look at my best player, and noticed I bought him on the 31st May. It was not planned at all, and I kinda feel bad.

:( I only have 3 players with excep tech or more, and one I only bought last year

Is it age dependent? Ie is an outs/outs 20 year old better than a spec/spec 30 year old for the purposes of this?

With no age rule, means Harrison is still a chance at the squad at the tender age of 32!

Ok, so 10 of the 12 spots are decided, only thing left is the 5th bowler/12th man, which is a  toss up between two of HP's bowlers. Due to three spinners already being in the team, the 3rd spinner (HP's Barry Smart) won't be in the poll. Happy voting, it'll run for 5 days :)

There will definitely be others coming through in future seasons although I imagine the team will almost always be >27 year old players, so those young super teams will have to wait a while.

Yeah, why they'll run over the top of me soon enough :P. What happens when I stay home grown, easy to be overtaken haha.

And HARRISON! Still has some oomph when he bowls, but can see the age catching up to him sadly Alex :(. May be time to call it quits in a season or two once Arthur builds his power.

Problem of course being a 20k wage bowler with accom power is basically like just wasting 5k+ every week. :P

Would be better off training his power to spectacular or exceptional to make him very useful and then go back to primaries.

All done, Harrison Morgan makes the squad :) That is the Best XI we have, pretty strong team :)

Be worth doing, there are 3-4 teams in rebuilding phases at the moment I think.
